[ A study of Aries as a sign, with some reference to it as an Ascendant ]

Date of this revision: 16th December, 2005; revision # B-0

This is primarily a discussion of Aries as a sign of the zodiac, which represents the natural 1st house. It is not especially a discussion of it as the Ascendant or as the Sun Sign or the Moon sign. Each sign, when it becomes the actual Ascendant, places different signs in the different houses of the horoscope, because of the blending of which a unique picture emerges. This picture is further very dramatically and deeply modified by the placements of the different planets, and the numerous varied combinations they form in each individual horoscope.

Note: A study of all the signs, specifically as Ascendants, is in a later group of

lectures, and also in Star*Book

Shri Mann: Let us now begin with Aries, the very first sign of the zodiac. It is ruled by

Mars. The animal which symbolises Aries is the Ram. It is male in gender, cardinal in motility, and it element is fire. Its colour is red[1]. Mars rules Tuesday, so the weekday of Aries is also Tuesday, and its gemstone is the red coral. The most special or particular metal of Aries is copper. This sign, as the number implies, is the first sign and, therefore, is also the sign of beginnings. That is the most important thing to remember about Aries. The number one, the concept of first, expresses or implies: beginnings, initiative, and venturing. So, it governs pioneers, pioneering projects, actuation, action, and by extension, self-assertion, boldness, aggressiveness, aggression. All beginnings, all new enterprises are governed by Aries. This is a planet of energy, of manifestation. As the first sign, it is the head of the zodiac, it is the commencement of it, it is its first expression, its primary manifested state. It is the beginning of the human manifestation or, by extension, the manifestation of anything else, depending on what we are trying to decipher. So, it is also a signifier of the emergence of things - not merely beginnings, but also of emerging, unfolding. It is a sign of a very martial character, fiery, hot, violent. In its raw essence, it represents energy, force - since all manifestations, all initiatives require energy, force, power. In one of its frequently seen moods, we could even call it a potentially violent sign. In any case, it remains an extremely powerful sign. This energy, force

or power can be used in either direction, in very negative to very positive expressions. So, essentially, Aries represents conditions, activities and devices which use or expend energy. The area of the horoscope which is occupied by Aries is usually one where we exert and expend a good deal of our energies and resources. It is very important to remember that we must not ever label any sign as basically negative or positive in itself. We should never even think that any sign is potentially mostly good or largely bad, nor even that any sign is potentially more likely to manifest essentially only as good or only as bad. No sign has a monopoly on goodness or wickedness, virtue or vice, wisdom or folly. Each sign has a number of distinct potentials which can be expressed in a negative or positive form. The negative and positive potentials of each sign are reflections of the essence energy which it embodies. Certainly, the essence energy of each sign is of a distinct and special nature. Because of these distinctions, the essence energy of each sign will tend to flow into certain channels and directions more easily, naturally and fluidly than into others, be they negative or positive, constructive or destructive. The function and purpose of this science is to identify the best channels for each sign and direct this essence energy into the most beneficial and rewarding physical, mental, emotional and spiritual expressions. However, it is never any one sign, even if it is the ascendant, which indicates the ultimate essence energy of any individual. It is the totality of the stelliscope which signifies the final sum essence energy of any person. Only this picture as a whole can come closest to properly identifying the potentially most likely channels the individuals essence energy is more likely to flow into as well as should flow into. Since energy expenditure is a core signification of Aries, therefore such activities as expend physical energy are included in its representations. We know that energy of any kind can be employed in a wide variety of ways. It can manifest as a thunderbolt or an explosion which destroys things or it can be used to light up a whole city or bring many other benefits, work many factories, do many productive things. So, when not well-harnessed or when misdirected, it can be very negative and destructive. And, therefore, it is extremely important that those signs (or stelliscopes), which as a whole represent much energy usage, should be wisely directed, because when they lose their constructive direction they more easily tend to become destructive of self and/or others, not merely indolent. Aries is very much in that class. We must place it at the head the signs which most need to be directed, which can be extremely constructive if the energy is properly harnessed and applied. The colour represented by it is red. The metal it rules over most specifically is iron, followed by copper which is also partially ruled by Venus. However, all metals in general are partially ruled by the sign Aries. We would generally look to this sign for significations where metals are concerned, though many metals have other more specific astrological signifiers. As we progress through the courses ahead, more details will be added in this area. Mars, the ruler of Aries, has a deep connection with blood, especially with red blood corpuscles. Blood is not only red but one of its important constituents is iron which metal oxidizes to produce a rust-red colour. Scorpio, the other sign governed by Mars, is a water sign. It represents venous blood. Aries rules over the iron content of the blood. Certain kinds of afflictions to Aries or Mars can indicate iron deficiency or anmic conditions.

What is the first part of the body. What do we consider to be the first part of the body and what part normally emerges first at birth? A student: The head. Shri Mann: Correct. Usually, that is the case, except in breach births. So, anatomically, the head is the part of the body which is most specifically represented by Aries. The emphasis on the head is also seen in its symbolic animal, the ram. The head of the ram is also its weapon. If we were to think of the sign Aries as a person, how would we think of it? We would think of it, in its most pure form, as a simple soldier. That would be one of the best images that we can conjure for Aries rising. The parallel between the personality of a soldier and Aries is actually very apt for expressing some important facets of this sign. In Roman mythology the god of war is Mars, which is the ruler of Aries and Scorpio. Therefore, the soldier image of Aries is very appropriate. In this image we find the personification of the basic attributes of Aries: war, courage, violence, martial qualities. In its sophisticated form, it can be a great general, a leader, an executive. In its typical form it can be a soldier, an armourer, a labourer, a blacksmith, etc. In its very negative form it can be a bully, an arsonist or a murderous criminal, and many other things in between. Military matters, martial, pioneering or aggressive projects which require boldness, daring, courage, initiative - all of them fall under this sign. Aries also governs labour. Why? Sheer, pure energy is one of the basic things needed in work, in labour. Therefore, it governs physical labour. Weapons are also part of its portfolio, since these are the instruments of aggression. What are the instruments of war or violence? A student: Guns, weapons. Shri Mann: Weapons are usually, at least partially, made of metals. There you find a connection between its two significations. On the other hand we have numerous metal implements, objects or things which are very beneficial, useful or constructive. The difference between a weapon and an implement is simply that one assists in destruction, the other in construction. So, metal implements in general fall under the rulership of Aries, especially those which use fiery sources of energy, such as petrol or steam engines. It also has a general partial
[2]

rulership over all flammable, combustible, explosive materials whether they are fluids, solids or gases. Off-hand, Gun-powder, Coal, Petrol, etc., are just a few such materials which fall in that category. It signifies explosives in both senses, whether used in some harmful or destructive sense, as a weapon, or used for mining or for any other constructive, positive end. More specifically it signifies all combustible and explosive materials which are dry and solid. Generally speaking, all kinds of fuels, are partially governed by Aries, although the fluid materials of this variety are more specifically signified by the sign of Scorpio, the other sign governed by Mars. Yet, some flammable fluids which possess a drying characteristic, find an increased representation in Aries. For example, spirituous liquids belong to this class, because they are drying. Spirit is very drying in the sense that after it evaporates, it leaves the surface on which it was applied, for instance the skin, very dry. Its rulership becomes more specific over such things as are dry, hot, capable of causing harm or injury, and are also solid and hard.

Hardness, hard objects, especially metallic, are governed by this sign, as also by it is ruler, Mars. If, for example, you were looking for the description of a place based on a horary horoscope concerning it, and the ascendant were Aries, what kind of a place would it be? Applying these characteristics, you would expect it to be either a desert or a rocky, hard, and extremely dry terrain. Arid[3], hot, dry, perhaps also rocky. You must remember, though, that these are only some of the possibilities it expresses with regard to an environment or location. To mention just a few others, it could be a battlefield, an army encampment, a sports stadium, a boxing ring, a factory, an armoury, and many other kinds of sites. As we go further in our studies and define the more refining influences, you should be able to fine-tune and greatly narrow down the nature of the representations in a given horoscope. There is a general time indicated by signs. Each sign signifies roughly a two hour bracket resulting from the division of the twenty-four hours by the twelve signs. Sunrise marks the middle of the first two hour bracket and the rest follow in sequence. The first sign, Aries, rules the first bracket of time, the second sign, Taurus, governs the second bracket, and so on. The time indicated by Aries is day-break, dawn or the first light. Why? Because Aries is the first sign, it is the beginning, and is the natural first house, which occupies the eastern horizon where the Sun rises this why the Sun is considered to be exalted in this sign. So, Aries holds a time reference which you could use quite effectively in answering time-related queries. For example, let us say, you wanted to know the time of someones arrival or a military general wanted to know what is the most likely time at which the enemy might attack, you would cast a horary[4] horoscope for the time and place the question was asked. Now, if Aries is the rising sign, you could say that the person may arrive or the enemy might attack in the morning, perhaps just at daybreak. We will study timing related significations and methods much more elaborately at a later stage. Since energy, explosives and weapons are governed by Aries, it is only logical that it should also have a say over injuries, wounds, cuts, burns, bruises - and, so it does. Matters of this nature are essentially governed by Mars, the ruler of Aries. Sudden illnesses, sudden inflammations, ailments which occur suddenly, which commence suddenly and erupt into a wild expression, or have a very quick but aggressive, violent mode of occurring. All such are governed by Aries rising. To give you an example, let us say, someone asked you the question: How long will this particular condition last? Now, if Aries was the ascendant or was a strong signifier[5], you could infer that it is likely to be of a short duration. Aries presides over conditions which are sudden, stormy, and short. It is a short[6] sign. It indicates short durations. This does not just apply to ailments, but to any matter, subject, activity or object with reference to size or duration. This is an important feature of Aries, and should be remembered. Seen philosophically, it is only apt that this sign of first manifestations, the signifier of our advent on the material plane, should reflect the essential shortness of our stay here - especially in juxtaposition to the sign of our origins, Pisces, the sign of eternity and infinity. We have used the soldier as one model of the Arian personality, as a very simple model of what Aries is, but let us not begin to consider that image as the only representative image of Aries, but consider it only as one of its basic portraits. To properly understand this particular portrait of Aries, let us examine what a soldier is. What is a soldier? A soldier is someone who takes chances, who risks his life and body, often for an unprofitable cause. We consider any

file://H:\ASTRO LESSONS- KB MANN\1Aries.htm

Stellistics~Jyotish~Astrology lecture on the sign Aries

action to be rash if it endangers life or limb without just cause. Seen in the light of this, it is fair to say that a soldier is a rash person to some extent, and so is Aries. Rashness and impulsiveness go hand in hand. Therefore, Aries can be rash as well as impulsive. Impulsiveness and rashness are two of the cardinal qualities which Aries has to deal with, to overcome. A soldier is courageous, especially in the physical sense. Therefore, physical courage is one of the major significations of Aries. Since courageous persons are also often large hearted and generous, Aries can be very generous, especially on impulse. All of these can lend a kind of raw nobility to the Arian character. Once again, they can be extremely brave, sometimes foolishly so. Now, a soldier never questions a fight. When he is told to go and fight, he goes and fights. Similarly, the Aries nature can have the tendency to take up a challenge too hastily, become involved in unnecessary, ill-considered or profitless disputes. As a negative expression, it is not uncommon to find a belligerent, combative streak in the Arian temperament. Now, other aspects of soldiering may involve patience and persistence, but its chief function, which is actual battle itself, usually does not last very long, and is of a relatively short duration. Similarly, the negative Aries nature has an impatience to it and an inability to pursue matters for any great length of time. The underdeveloped Arian usually finds it hard to persist in projects and activities which demand long-lasting, steady perseverance. So, they are initiators, they are pioneers, they start things, but they do not always finish things. This is one of the general indications. Here I would like to imprint on your memory and understanding an important, basic truth which is that nothing can exist without an equal and opposite potential, and that applies to every positive or negative attribute or potential represented by any element of the horoscope. Therefore, Aries holds within it the potential for great persistence, only it is not so commonly seen in the average Arian native. We have Aries ascending natives who have not only commenced great battles or struggles, but have continued them to the end of their life, and in many instances to a successful conclusion after a long and exhausting ordeal. Just to name a couple of Aries ruled personalities, we have Martin Luther King and Alexander the Great. Now, the force, the energy which you see in these two personalities is indicative of the kind of energy and power embodied in this sign, as also the will that it can put behind it, if motivated to do so. Motivation is the important thing for them. If Aries is not motivated, it will not stay with anything. Of course, these are very simple, basic statements. Not all of these statements will apply to every Aries rising native because there are so many other factors in each horoscope which refine and modify the expressions. As we go along, we will be learning about those numerous other factors, and how those factors modify the horoscope, alter it so as to make the same ascendants entirely different from each other, reflecting personalities with completely different sets of abilities and characteristics. Aries can be very creative as well as artistic. It is usually very fond of music and dance. It definitely has an artistic side, but it is less often expressive of arts such as painting and drawing, but music and dance are frequently seen interests or even talents of Aries. In fact, these are very common pursuits of Aries, pursued with great vigour and often with much benefit too. As a broad and general rule, Aries is not a long-lived sign. This is something to note. If

we were to look statistically at the longevity of various signs purely on the basis of each being the rising sign (the ascendant), without taking into account any of the other factors relating to longevity in the stelliscope (all of which should very much be a part of our complete consideration when we are trying to assess the life span of a specific individual), Aries happens to be a sign which normally has a life span, on an average, of about fifty-six years. Now, though this is a very general statement, it will be useful when you are applying it in conjunction with other factors in a horoscope. So, keep in mind that Aries is basically and essentially not usually a very long-lived sign, along with the understanding that this statement does not unconditionally apply to any specific Aries ascending individual. To underscore this, I will tell you that there are a good number of very long-lived Arians. Incidentally, according to the scriptures, Adam lived for many hundreds of years to more exact, 930 years. The complexion of Aries rising is usually ruddy. It is relatively rarer to find an Arian native who has a pale or sallow complexion. In most cases, they are either pink complected or have a ruddy complexion, and only infrequently a pale or sallow face. This is another thing to remember, that there is an angular aspect to Aries. The build is usually angular. More often, their body and face have relatively sharp angles or straight lines, a sharp clear-cut definition. You see that in the facial or bodily structure. They are usually lean, strong bodied, with graceful muscles. Usually, the Aries native prefers to go to bed early and to rise early. They like seeing the dawn and have the most energy at that time. Most of them are energetic and active. The greater number of Arians have a rather loud or full voice, sometimes also somewhat rapid or quick, which can even be harsh, when there are certain types of afflictions. Quite frequently, religion plays some important role in their lives, for better or for worse. I should add here that each sign has a wide variety of different basic stereotypes mentally, emotionally and physically. No sign is limited to a single expression in any of these three areas. You will begin to recognise these variations as your experience grows. Here, we are dealing with the more elemental, more typical manifestations or representations of signs, but in due time you will learn more about the myriad variations, gross and subtle. Besides, you must remember, no individual remains the same throughout life in any of these three areas. Therefore, at different ages and phases of life, the same individual may manifest very differently in one or all of these three areas. How could you apply the angular signification of Aries in a practical manner? I will give you an example. Let us say, the query concerns the shape of an object or a piece of land, and Aries is the indicator, you can be almost certain that it is of a square or other angular form as opposed to a round or circular one. There is one very peculiar characteristic of Aries which can be useful in deciding what sign is rising if you are caught between a choice of Pisces and Aries and you are not sure. You look at their veins. Many times, particularly in males, there will be a slight to major prominence of the veins of the forearms. Not every Aries will display this, but it is relatively common for this sign, and many times it is extremely pronounced. Often enough the face is narrow, or long and narrow. This applies to all cardinal signs in general, i.e., you will find a very narrow face more often than in the others. In the course of time, you should be able to develop the ability to see a person and decipher a number of things relating to his or her horoscope based on physical appearance, habits, mannerisms, and be able to resolve a difficult situation when you are caught

between a choice of two or three signs and you have to determine which one is the ascendant. You will face this dilemma very frequently. This is often due to uncertain birth times. You will also find that many people are born on the very cusp of two signs. In fact, the gentleman I saw today, was born zero degrees one minute Libra, right on the cusp of Virgo and Libra. It took a few such things to rather quickly settle what the rising sign was. There are some other characteristics of Aries which should be noted. They are not essentially intrinsically too demonstrative of affection, except in very intimate, very familiar situations and relationships. Normally, in their usual or routine interactions, they are not very expressive of sentimentality or great warmth. In the area of progeny, this is a sign which has two extremes: either none or just one issue, or anywhere from six to nine, sometimes more. You will see one or the other of these two extreme conditions quite frequently. We may make a very general statement that violence is one of the things which attends the life of Aries rising individuals, but it should be understood only as a heightened potential. Even if they are not personally violent at all, circumstances arise in their life which can expose them to violence, often enough in their familial or other intimate personal relationships. So, we can make a general precautionary statement to them that they should exercise extra care to prevent or avoid such situations. They are also more prone to head injuries, since the head is governed by this sign. It is interesting that the ram, its symbolic animal, suffers a lot of head injuries due to its head-on battles with other rams. It is not uncommon for the Aries natives to suffer or even die from blows or injuries to the head. By the way, violence often comes to them by way of ambush. Ambuscade is very frequently one of the things that Aries is subject to, whether it is an assassination attempt where the ambush occurs in full view of the public or an attack somewhere else. They can be ambushed even by animals. It is very rare for an Aries to go through life without being assaulted or ambushed by man or animal at some time or the other. These are things to bear in mind when examining the horoscope of an individual whose ascendant is Aries, or even where the sign Aries is emphasised in the natal chart. It should interest you to know that Aries is very frequently involved with travel-related businesses. Many, many Aries ascending natives are directly connected with the field of travel and occupations incidental to it. Many air hostesses, travel agents and customs and immigrations officers or people who have something to do with travel-related work, such as aircraft repair, airport maintenance, etc., have Aries in their ascendant. There are large numbers of these natives in occupations related to travel, tourism or transportation, such as taxis, buses, hotels, etc. Many of them work at airports, train and bus terminals, gas stations or work with machinery and equipment related to travel or transportation. These are things which are commonly found in the Aries life. Another field of the Arian native relates to healing. At this point you may wonder how this sign can have anything to do with medical matters, but later you will realise that Aries ascendant places Scorpio in the 8th house, which is the house of regeneration and rejuvenation. Further, both signs are strongly linked under the common rulership of Mars. We should also remember that this is a sign of energy and vitality, and these two are the essence of health and healing. Therefore, very frequently Aries natives are involved with the craft of healing, though

file://H:\ASTRO LESSONS- KB MANN\1Aries.htm

only rarely as conventional allopathic doctors. The greater majority of them in the medical field are chiropractors, faith healers or people who are spiritual healers or following some holistic and natural process of healing. Yes? A student: But you mentioned metals, so surgeons should be indicated? Shri Mann: That is more in the province of Scorpio, the other sign ruled by Mars, though some Aries natives do become surgeons. Typically, the Arian is less inclined to become a surgeon or a conventional allopathic medical doctor as such. These natives are usually more attracted to alternative, holistic and natural therapies. If they are involved with healing, it is more with the holistic side. Therefore, often enough they are homeopaths, naturalists or herbalists, but even more often, physical or massage therapists, chiropractors or acupuncturists. They can also make very good rescue workers, paramedics, fire-fighters. The situations faced by such workers are very suitable to the expression of the Arian qualities; in fact, such professions need precisely the type of qualities that Arians possess. There are also a good number of butchers with Aries ascending, but in such instances, certain significant afflictions exist in their horoscopes. [Tape 1, Side 2] So, what do we have for Aries essentially? Weapons, instruments, implements, metals, significations of all things that are hot, dry, hard and angular, and the colour red. It represents the head, beginnings, initiative, energy, courage, boldness, daring and impulsiveness. Some of the negative qualities it signifies are rashness and a lack of patience and perseverance. Other negative expressions can be hastiness and belligerence. It can signify excessive aggressiveness, and in its worst forms, it produces from bullies, tyrants or street-hoods to outright murderous, violent criminals, even vicious killers. So, we have these as some of the important basic significations of positive and negative potentials. There are many other things which can be said of Aries. As the first sign it is also considered to be psychologically immature, which means that it can be taken advantage of. It can be persuaded to do things that it does not really wish to do, or be persuaded to do things which are not even good for it. It can be manipulated and controlled because of its naivet. They are not as worldly-wise as the later signs. Its impulsive and daring nature coupled with its gullibility can lead them into some very harmful situations. Yes? A student: You said it governs the head? Shri Mann: Yes. Incidentally, perhaps for this reason, these natives are more often subject to premature balding or thinning of hair. A student: But, yet it is martial by nature? Shri Mann: Yes. However, that does not automatically translate into belligerence or violence, unless there are certain specific afflictions or very aggressive combinations.

A student: The head represents Brahmanas. Does it indicate that type of head? Shri Mann: No. More as the physical head. The reference of Aries is chiefly to the physical head and physical brain as such. Cleverness nor cunning are the primary distinguishing features of even its symbol, the ram. However, the Aries ascending native can be an extremely spiritual person. The other symbol I have suggested for Aries is the scriptural Adam. He is a simple, faithful and reverent personality though, somewhat nave or gullible. In a sense, Adam presents a rather well-rounded portrait of the purer Aries. If the stelliscope is otherwise wholesome, Aries can display a very simple, firm faith with reverence, combined with pragmatism and common sense. A student: Does Aries not represent the thinking head, the thoughts? Shri Mann: No, not the intelligence especially, if that is what you mean. Wisdom and intelligence are, generally speaking, under the influence of a number of astrological factors, the most important of which are Jupiter, and then Mercury in Sanskrit, Mercury is called buddh, which means intellect. It also presides over the functioning of the physical brain since it rules the nervous system and its operations. In time we will gradually go on detailing, defining and understanding the factors which relate to this complex issue relating to intelligence. Yet, let me point out that an injury to the physical head can damage the intellectual head, the thinking and intelligence. Therefore, the two are not unrelated. We will discuss these matters at greater length in the course of our studies. A student: I have a question. You defined the soldier as a not-for-profit type of character but all wars are for profit of some sort. Shri Mann: Well, the ordinary soldier does not profit from the wars he fights in, though he risks his life and often loses it. A student: So, he is naive? Shri Mann: Precisely. You see, a soldier is really being used by the more astute leaders, the shrewd politicians or those who are in power, to further their own ends. So, while the soldier risks his life, takes all the blows, does all the dirty work, all the killing, the powerbrokers make all the profits. The best thing for an Aries native is to have his or her own well-considered and well chosen cause, or a cause to which they can be dedicated, can be fully absorbed in, about which they have a deep conviction. In other words, they should be motivated by something which comes from within them. Then there is no limit to what they can accomplish. The store of energy is endless, inexhaustible, and the courage, the boldness to take aggressive initiative is never found more strongly anywhere else than in Aries. So, we come back to our earlier observation that there is a deep need for real motivation and direction in the life of an Aries native. A student: Can you give some other examples of people in history?

Shri Mann: Oh, many. I have the horoscopes of many thousands of famous and infamous persons, and many Aries natives among them. I should point out one thing which is that, statistically speaking, Aries is not a predominant sign in terms of worldly success, though it has quite a few great or famous people in its list. Yet, they are percentage-wise fewer in relation to some of the other ascendants, and the reasons for this lower percentage include their susceptibility to being manipulated and used by others and, many times, not having the followthrough, not having the cause or the motivation for the steady pursuit of a goal or objective. But, now let me give you two more examples of well-known Arian personalities: Senator Robert Kennedy and Gregory Rasputin, known as the mad monk of Russia. Both had Aries rising. Here, again, you see that connection of violence with their life. All of these four persons whom I have named, Alexander the great, Martin Luther King, Senator Robert Kennedy, and Rasputin, fulfil the statements regarding violence and brevity of life. Yes? A student: His brother had Mars in Aries in the eighth house. Shri Mann: Yes. John F. Kennedy did. His Mars was in Aries in his 8th house. But I must repeat this, that this is only a general statement that Aries is statistically a relatively shortlived sign. We have exceptions, very long-lived exceptions, in fact, aged over one hundred and ten years. So, when we say that they are generally short-lived, we mean that the majority does not enjoy a very long life. When we arrive at fifty-six as the mean age, the median longevity, we mean that there are those who die as infants and then there are those who live to be centenarians. A student: Do those exceptions apply to all the signs or only to Aries? Shri Mann: Each sign has a very broad and general longevity indication to it, to which there will always be exceptions in both directions. A student: Is there any set rule for these variations? Shri Mann: Oh yes. We will later be studying the reasons behind these variations, these exceptions. In closing, I will reiterate one quality of Aries which has already been mentioned, and add one more. One, that it can be a very generous sign, as stated earlier. Two, this sign has a strong ego as well which is one of the reasons which give rise to many hidden enemies. They often inadvertently antagonize people because of tactless, blunt or harsh speech. More often their voice is rather loud and their speech is quick with some exceptions where the voice is sometimes too low or the speech is too slow. These are also very important attributes which we should include in its general potentials. With that we will close our discussion of Aries for the present. [Break]
