Description of Alleged Claim: On November 2, 2013 a call was received from Saint Clements Elementary School indicating that a sewer back up had occurred in the basement of the school at around 1:00 pm. The Water Division responded and after checking several manholes, discovered the blockage to be at a Boston Ave manhole. The DPW has reported that it was the Citys sewer that backed up and caused the backflow of sewerage at the school. A jet truck was used to clear the blockage and the system was restored. The school paid $5,590.78 to Servicemaster for professional services to clean up the sewerage. Breakdown to Amount Requested: Medical Cost: -0-
