80th General Membership Assembly of the NRCP March 13, 2013 Pandanggo-Polkabal Hall, Manila Hotel, Manila CALL FOR PAPERS FOR POSTER EXHIBIT
All NRCP Members are invited to submit papers for the poster exhibit. The papers are limited to projects funded by the NRCP and other Institutions, completed and on going, from the Year 2011 to present. Members whose researches were funded by the Council are required to present poster. Only one (1) entry per Member. Submit miniaturized posters in two (2) forms: E-copy and hard copy printed on B4 (254mm x 356 mm) paper for preliminary screening. The Divisions ExeCom members will screen entries according to their scientific merit/originality, significance and presentation. A maximum of five (5) posters from each Division will be chosen to participate in the Poster exhibit. Posters should not have been presented in any scientific meeting. Posters should be printed on a standard poster material, 30 wide x 40 high (76 cm x 103 cm) for display set up at 6:00 AM, on 13 March 2013 at the Manila Hotel, Manila. Presenters should be physically present during the Poster Session. Posters on exhibit are automatically considered entries for Best Poster. Three Posters will vie for the awards (per Cluster), first, second and third with cash prizes of Php 15,000. Php 10,000 and Php 5,000, respectively and corresponding certificates. Guidelines The poster should be clear and readable from 2 meters away. Text should not be more than three (3) colors. The poster should include the following parts with the indicated font size: o o o o Title (72 points, about 2 cm) Authors (1 cm) Affiliations (1 cm) Abstract (max 1 cm) c. Methodology, Results and Interpretation /Discussion preferably presentation in schematic diagrams, flowcharts, etc., and properly labeled tables, graphs Conclusion and Future Directions -answers the objectives and cites recommendations
