The credibility of the religion of Islam contrasted with all other divine religions of the past is the aspect of authenticity and reliability. In the religion of Islam every aspect has been accurately and precisely preserved with its minutest details from the very inception of wahi (revelation) up to this day. Fourteen centuries have gone by, yet we find that the Holy Qur an still stands up to this day in its original form untouched. !et alone a verse of the Qur an, not even a single letter has been distorted or changed. Its preservation is not limited to the scrolls and pages" instead it has found its place in the recesses of the hearts of even little children of this ummah. #imilarly the $ubaara% &haadith of 'asulullah (#allallahu &layhi (asallam) ) which in reality is the commentary of the Qur an #hareef ) up to this day e*ist in the thousands, with sound authentic chains +oining up to Ha,rat 'asulullah (#allallahu &layhi (asallam). How can it not be so, when &llah Ta ala himself had ta%en the divine onus and responsibility of protecting and preserving the #hari ah of Islam till the end of time- &llah Ta ala states. : /Indeed, (e are the 0nes who have sent down the 1i%r (the Qur aan), and (e will surely protect it.2 (#urah &l3Hi+r, &ayah 4)
