In the beginning, the “ACT― represented the American test of universit

y. However, in 1996 the official name of the organization was shortened si
mply “TO ACT― to reflect best the broad choice of programs and the ser

2. The ACT is not an aptitude or a test of IQ Instead of that, the questions
about the ACT are directly related to the courses of English college, mathema
tics, and science.

3. In addition to the tests, the ACT also provides to takers of test a single
inventory of interest which provides information valid for the career and ed
ucational planning and a section of profile of student who provides a complet
e profile of the schemes of work of college and futures.

In the United States, the ACT is managed five national dates of test in Oct
ober, December, February, April and June. In the states chosen, the ACT is
also offered in September.

The tests of ACT are prepared according to the standards for the educationa
l and psychological test, the American educational association of research,
American psychological association, and the National council to the measur
e in Education (1985); Code professional responsibilities in educational me
asurement, National council to the measure in Education (1995); and codes r
ight matter practices of test in education, Joint committee on the examinat
ion of Practices (1988).

The people of all the ages and levels of category are eligible to take the N
OTE. This includes the high junior or the students and those of college whic
h already received a diploma of the college.

The test includes 215 questions with multiple choice in four fields: Englis
h 75 questions; Maths-60 questions; Reading-40 questions; and Science-40 qu
estions. More, one message of request of inscription in the optional part o
f writing.

There is no limitation how much time you can take with the ACT, although the
re are restrictions on the way in which frequently you can make thus. For ex
ample, you can examine only once by date of national or test of state, or if
you examine by the nonnational test such as the special test, you must at l
east wait 60 days between the check tests. Many students pass the examinatio
n twice, once as a junior and still as elder.

You should certainly consider retester if you had any problems during the test

Retester can be an good idea if you see an anomaly between your points of
ACT and your categories of college, or if you achieved the coursework or a
n intensive review in the fields included in the ACT since you were examin
ed. Research proves that students who took the NOTE more once 55% increase
d their points made up on the check test. If you pass the examination more
once, you order which points are sent to the universities or the programs
of purse.
