Dont Take Off Without God I

Except the LORD build the house, they labour in vain that build it: except the LORD keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain. Psalm 127:1

Many times believers choose to live as if they do not have God. It is so painful to God that His children fall into the same ditch unbelievers fall into when we have the advantage of the Holy Spirit. A few years back when the global stock market came crashing, it was so painful to see Christians get caught in the thick of it. They had played games like the world, they had followed the worlds system of investment. Many even stopped tithing in order to buy shares and of course when the crash came, they also came down like the world. Child of God, this should not be the case. Dont enter into any venture without God. No matter how profitable they tell you it is, stop and sincerely seek Gods face concerning it. I am not talking about a 5 second prayer where your mind is made up of what you want; you just want Gods validation. No, lay the cards on the table, seek the mind of God and let Him direct you. In Acts 27, we read the story of Pauls voyage. Just when they were about to take off, Paul told them what h e perceived in the spirit. Paul was walking by faith, he was not the captain but there was something in him that others did not know. Paul admonished, lets not take off because this journey is going to be problematic, not only of the ship but also our lives. So, lets not take off. But because everything was cool and nothing showed that there was going to be problem, those people rejected Pauls warning and decided to go by sight. Now note these, number one, these people based their judgment on professional advice. The master and the captain said they were going to go, look at verse 11, Nevertheless the centurion believed the master and the owner of the ship The soldier who took Paul, the Centurion believed professional advice rather than what Paul advice. Now Brother Mike, is it wrong to take professional advice? No! It is not but professional advice must line up with Gods word. When professional advice contradicts the word of God, you must take it with a pinch of salt. God sees the end from the beginning, His word is reliable and dependable. You can stake your life on His word and know that you cannot miss it. Today I declare your spirit open to receive the counsel of God and your heart willing to obey in Jesus name. OUR GATES SHALL BE OPEN CONTINUALLY

And the sons of strangers shall build up thy walls, and their kings shall minister unto thee: for in my wrath I smote thee, but in my favour have I had mercy on thee. {11} Therefore thy gates shall be open continually; they shall not be shut day nor night; that men may bring unto thee the forces of the Gentiles, and that their kings may be brought. {12} For the nation and kingdom that will not serve thee shall perish; yea, those nations shall be utterly wasted. { 13} The glory of Lebanon shall come unto thee, the fir tree, the pine tree, and the box together, to beautify the place of my sanctuary; and I will make the place of my feet glorious. {14} The sons also of them that afflicted thee shall come bending unto thee; and all they that despised thee shall bow themselves down at the soles of thy feet; and they shall call thee, the city of the Lord, the Zion of the Holy One of Israel. {15} Whereas thou hast been forsaken and hated, so that no man went through thee, I will make thee an eternal Excellency, a joy of many generations. {16} Thou shalt also suck the milk of the Gentiles, and shalt suck the breast of kings: and thou shalt know that I the Lord am thy Saviour and thy Redeemer, the mighty One of Jacob. ISAIAH 60:10 16{KJV} Beloved, often times we feel that God is too slow in coming through with His word. Many times we even feel God does not bother about how we feel, let alone do something about our situation. The result is that we cancel ourselves out from ever receiving from Him, but I come your way today with a word of assurance from Gods word that He is still committed to bringing to pass every word He has spoken concerning your life. His word to you today is that your gates shall be open continually. Gates represent the place of authority where far reaching decisions are taken; gates also represent access to and from a city. For as long as the gates to a city are open, you can be sure that socio-economic activities would never cease. Beloved, in like manner understand that for as long as your gates are open, the forces {substance, resources, wealth, tribute and allegiance} of the Gentiles and their kings would come to you in Jesus name. Yes, it may appear long, but like the Psalmist said, weeping may endure through the night but joy comes in the morning. Your morning of joy has come. The Lord has chosen to remember you. Get set for your miracle because it shall surely come. The Gentiles and the sons of all those that afflicted you, shall come bowing down before you. Your gates have been thrown open; so get ready for you shall be sustained with the riches from afar. You will no longer work like an elephant and eat like an ant. There shall be no more empty barrel for you and the days of barely making it are over in your life. The Lord your God will increase you and you will possess the West and the South. Child of God, get ready for wealth transfer; for you will suck the milk of the gentiles and you will suck the breast of kings. The miracles that hitherto looked impossible are about to become the order of the day in your life. Indeed, those things that you have put on the shelf and termed impossible, are the very things that God would bring to pass that you might know that He is God. Every desire of your heart shall be granted. You will not be denied. I challenge you today to believe God for the impossible. God is not a man to lie neither is He the son of man to repent. What He has said He would do in your life will surely come to pass. Today, as you listen to the testimonies of others, I encourage you to connect to your own by faith. Open your mouth and begin to call forth those things that be not as though they were. Call forth your dream job. Call forth your husband or wife. Call forth your house or car. Make sure you maximize the power of your tongue. Dont keep quiet. Never let the devil have the last say. Remember that angels are waiting to hear your voice, so create your day with your mouth. As you begin to speak the promises of God upon your life, God will arise on your behalf and bring them to pass.

Now mine eyes shall be open, and mine ears attent unto the prayers that is made in this place - 2 Chron 7: 15

ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE

It is my joy to come your way this week as we all prepare to enter into October our month of Fasting and Prayers. I have prayed and I have an assurance in my heart that this years fasting and prayers with the theme: Uproot will deliver to you all that Heaven has in stock for you. Without any shadow of doubt in my heart, I know that the Lord is ready to hear and answer every request, prayer and supplication that will be made unto Him in this place. For every living TREMite at home and in the Diaspora, I encourage you to get ready because anything is possible during this month of prayers. Beloved, first and foremost, you must make up your mind that this years fast would not be business as usual. Dont come as a spectator. You must approach it with the seriousness it deserves because it is not another religious exercise; but rather, it is a time out with God. You cannot therefore afford to sit by and watch others agonize in the place of prayers. In Mark 14: 37 -40 we are told that Jesus went to Gethsemane because He had a burden, but unfortunately, His disciples did not share that burden with him, little wonder they ran away when crisis came. That will not be your portion in Jesus name. I declare that as you fast and pray this year mountains will bow before you. Every issue that has hitherto defied human solutions will bow before you in Jesus name. You will come out victorious. Secondly, during this fast you must ensure you come before God in prayers by faith. Hebrews 4:6 says that for without faith it is impossible to please God for He that cometh to Him must first believe that He is and a rewarder of those that diligently seek after him. {KJV} Did you see that? I know that certain things may not have worked out for you in time past, but beloved this time around you must become resilient and refuse to quit until you receive your answers. You must believe God for who He says He is. He is in a class by Himself. This time around, dare to walk out on doubt and unbelief and switch into the dimension of possibilities. The dimension of possibilities is the realm of faith. Anything is possible to him who believes, not to him who doubts. In other words, as you pray, dare to believe God for that impossible situation even when it seems foolish to do so. Dont forg et that He is a rewarder of those that diligently seek Him. You will not miss out in Jesus name. In addition, when it is time for prayers, do not be pretentious. If you must experience a change in your situation and also get answers from God, then be real. Dont pray hypocritical prayers. Beloved, if you cannot open up to God, then the question is who can you open up to? Dont forget that He already knows what you want to ask ever before you thought of it, so come clean. I am not talking about complaining, but you need to say it just as it is, because He is your Helper. In 1 Chronicles 4: 9, we are told of the story of Jabez a man whose name meant sorrow. This was a man who was acquainted with sorrow and grief everywhere he went. Beloved, his situation was turned around for good only when he became real with himself. Jabez realized that it was only God who could change his situation, so he called upon the God of Heaven to bless him. Beloved, Jabez took responsibility for his own life and was very specific in his request. Take a look at verse 10 of I Chronicles 4. It says and Jabez called upon the God of Israel, saying Oh that thou wouldest bless me indeed and enlarge my coast, and that your Hand might be with me and that you would keep me from evil that it may not pain me. Child of God, we are told that God granted him his request. He got the type of blessing that rubbished all the pain and sorrow he had ever gone through in life. My prayer for you is that even before the end of the fasting and prayers, God will turn your situation around and fill your mouth with testimonies. As I close this article, let me remind you that there will be a combined Service on Tuesday the 1 st of October, 2013 by 9.00am to officially declare this years fasting and pr ayers open. You cannot afford to miss it. It is a Public Holiday, so I encourage you to come with your family, friends and neighbours. As for those in the Headquarters, be reminded that there will be morning and evening prayer sessions in the church daily except for Saturdays. I challenge you to take advantage of these prayer sessions and really pray until something happens in your life. I am a firm believer that, as we come together to pray and make declarations under this corporate anointing, whatever the Father has not planted in your life will be uprooted in Jesus name. This week, I declare that the Lord will turn around your captivity and make impossible situations in your life possible. You will not be denied. I bless you. Maranatha!

B.L.E.N.T FROM A CONSUMTION TO A PRODUCTION ECONOMY

It gives me great pleasure to welcome you to yet another edition of BLENT (Breeding Leaders for Empowerment and National Transformation) and this years focus is on the manufacturing sector. I also welcome all ou r friends and special guests in the house. It is not an accident that you have come to worship with us today and it is my prayer that our God will do you good. He will bless you and show you a token for good. I want to thank God for the efforts of all those in the manufacturing sector who are working hard to see that our nation Nigeria is developed and fully repositioned so that we can restore back our lost glory. I am a firm believer that God is visiting Nigeria again. All the years that the locust, caterpillar, cankerworm and palmerworm have eaten will be restored and Nigeria will once again take her place in the comity of nations. As you are no doubt aware, this nation in the early sixties and seventies was at par with some of the developed economies of the world because apart from the sale of crude oil, we also paid much premium to the non-oil producing sector. For instance, the development of agriculture as an alternative source of revenue at that time, gave rise to the establishment of several industries notable amongst them the textile industries. During that period, the manufacturing sector was very active as raw materials were readily available. From the massive groundnut and cotton pyramids in the North; to the heightened production of cocoa in the South and of course to the palm kernel produce from the East, this country was indeed, in a period of boom. Today, the sound of roaring machines turning out finished products from our factories and industries can no longer be heard. Major industries have closed shop and over time we have developed a penchant for foreign made goods as against those made in Nigeria. We gradually moved from being a producing nation to a consumer oriented people. The question is where did we miss it as a nation? Many have laid the blame at the doorsteps of the average Nigerian who prefers imported goods to locally made ones. Others have blamed the farmers who have dumped farming for white collared jobs, while some others believe that the banks that have failed to inject the much needed funds into the economy are to blame. For some others, the government should take all the blame for not providing the enabling environment for production. Whichever way you look at it, the truth is that we have suffered a setback at some point but it is my prayer that as we critically look at the manufacturing sector today, we would be able to proffer solutions and provide answers to the various issues that have made us a consumer nation over the years. I have no doubt in my mind that our special guests who have been invited to tackle the issues would do justice to it. I want to use this opportunity to assure all our friends in the house that as a church, we believe that one of our major assignments is to make a positive impact in our world for the kingdom. We believe in the project called Nigeria and necessity is laid on us to take the bull by the horns and jumpstart the National Transformation process. That is why our efforts and operations as a church are geared towards making our members agents of transformation. We cannot afford to keep folding our hands because while we are busy complaining of what is not working, foreigners are coming in droves into our country daily. It appears that they are seeing what we cannot see. I am a firm believer that the church has gone beyond sitting down, clapping hands and shouting Hallelujah. The world out there is waiting for us to show the way. Creation is waiting for us to manifest and this is our time. Like I have always said and it bears repetition, government cannot do it all alone; it is an assignment for each and every one of us. When we all arise to cover our corners, pretty soon we would have made a significant impact. I therefore appeal to every person, individual, Government Agencies, Schools and Corporate bodies to invest more in promoting creativity. When you look around, you will find needs begging to be met. Manufacturing is all about meeting needs. Like I have always said and it bears repetition, wherever you have people, you have money. When you engage in activities and services that meet needs, you will in turn generate wealth. You can start from where you are. Dont despise your little beginning. For instance, you can start small by making beads or dresses for those around you, and pretty soon you can take it to the next level and begin to produce for export. That is how it starts. As I close, let me once again welcome everyone coming into this auditorium for the first time, particularly our most distinguished Guests and of course other stakeholders in the Manufacturing sector. I welcome you again and again and I believe your coming will leave a landmark in your life. Our God will visit you and give you the answers to the questions of your heart. He will fill your mouth with testimonies and grant every desire of your heart. I look forward to having you again and again in our services and I know that together we can make the necessary changes in this nation. Maranatha!

Can God depend on you?

Neither will I offer burnt offerings unto the LORD my God of that which doth cost me nothing 2 Samuel 24:24 (KJV)

Dearly beloved, I bring you greetings in the name that is above every other name, Jesus Christ the Son of the Living God and our soon coming King. As we climax the age you would begin to observe that the love for self would gradually increase to the extent that people would slow down in their commitment to the things of God. Today I want to ask you a few questions. Please be very honest with yourself. What is your driving force for service to God? Is it convenience or conviction? Can God truly depend on you to serve Him whether it is convenient or not? Beloved, some people serve God only when it is convenient. In other words, they say to themselves; now that I have a spouse, child, or dream job, I can now serve God. On the other hand, once it is no longer convenient, I stop serving God. When everything is working well and on target, I will serve God. I will serve God when the going is good. I will serve God as long as the testimonies keep rolling in. I call such people fair-weather Christians. There is another group of fair weather Christians who serve God just to solve a challenge in their lives. When praying for a life-partner, a job, a child or a business breakthrough, they are ready to do anything, even keep vigils every single night in a week, but the moment they get the answer, off they go. Is it not an irony that the blessing they were praying for becomes the reason why they are no longer available to God? You hear things like: it is because of the demands of the job or the child cries ever so often so I cannot leave him/her in the house alone, so I stay back. Or worse still you hear those in business tell you how the business meetings they scheduled clashed with the assignment that they have in church and guess which one gives way, the church. Beloved, if you are in this category, I come today to encourage you to make a U-turn for the better. Like I always say, God does not want fair-weather Christians you are either for Him or against Him; You cannot sit on the fence. You either serve God totally and unreservedly or you forget it. Lean from David; he got an offer to sacrifice to God but he looked at the offer and said, I will not offer to God that which will cost me nothing. Belo ved, your service to God must go beyond convenience; or else it is not acceptable. The kingdom of God is not a game of convenience think of it; somebody paid the price with His own blood. It is not something you play with, with kids glove; it is serious business. God is calling every believer to a life of sacrifice. I challenge you today to go out of you way to serve God with all you heart, whether it is convenient or not. He deserves the best because He gave you His best, Jesus. The question you should ask yourself sincerely is; how much do I really love Him? Remember that the scriptures say in John 3:16 for God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son. Child of God, there is no way you can demonstrate love without giving something. When God was to show us how much he loved us, he gave His only Son to die for our sins. Thank God for this great love otherwise, where would you be today? In the same way, God wants you to spread His love to the world. If you truly love Jesus, then show it. Show it in your service to Him. Show it in evangelism. Show it as you lead your group. Show it in your relationship with your fellow G12 centre members. Many times we pay lip serve to loving God; we claim to love God but we do not show His love to those around us. You cannot say you love God, if you do not show His love to your world. Think of it, when last did you go through your wardrobe to look for very good clothes to bless someone with? When last did you enter a boutique to get a gift for someone who cannot afford it? When the festive seasons are approaching have you ever thought of how to ensure a family has a meal on their table? Are you just consumed with yourself me, mine and I? Your love for God is also evident in your worship. When we talk about worship, I am not talking about singing slowly. The quality of your worship in songs, in offerings, in tithes all goes to show how much you love God. You cannot claim to love God and keep your money away from Him. No, your love for God must be total. As I close, I encourage you to take a moment and think about the question today: how much do you love God? How much are you willing to sacrifice just to show you love Him? If there are areas that indict you, make amends today and love Him totally and completely. Let God depend on you in season and out of season. As you do that, He will certainly come through for you. I bless you. Maranatha!

See, Jericho Has Been Given To You

And the LORD said unto Joshua, See, I have given into thine hand Jericho, and the king thereof, and the mighty men of valour. Joshua 6:2

Jericho was shut down because of the children of God. Why? It was because Jericho was strategic, if they cannot take Jericho, they cannot take the Promised Land. And so when they got there, the people of Jericho made it very difficult. They shut the gates. The walls of Jericho were very thick, you cant penetrate, and you cant break through it. And so when the children of Israel got there, they looked at it and said this one is a no go area, we cannot enter but the Lord said to Joshua, see, I have given you Jericho, I have given you the king and the mighty men of valour in the land. What is the Jericho in your life? What is a type of Jericho in your situation? What is the Jericho that is making it difficult for you to take your promise? Today God said you must see that Jericho has been given to you. Many believers walk so much in the realm of the senses so much that they dont know the way God functions. When you come to the kingdom of God throw away your senses and let God be God. Who told you that because you married as a virgin you would be the first to have a child, where did you get that from? The ways of God are so mysterious and yet correct, He doesnt make mistakes. It is baffling that some people are looking for babies but some prostitutes are throwing them away on a daily basis. Can you query God because of it? The problem with us is that we make comparisons but every one of us has his own race to run. The earlier you understand that, the easier you relax in the hands of God and run because your time is in His hands. Dont let your senses control you. You look at your family background and you see that there is no way you can become anythin g in life and so because of it you throw away the word of God? If God says you are, you are because God cannot lie. God is saying to you; see I have given to you Jericho. Today I declare that every Jericho in standing before you be destroyed and every seeming impossibility in your life be made possible in Jesus name. YOU WILL SIT ON YOUR THRONE

Today, I join all Young People in the world of TREM to celebrate the grand finale of this years edition of METATHESIS with the theme: THE REIGN. Indeed, God visited us as individuals, and as a ministry. I believe in the words of the facilitators and speakers that God brought our way and I know that nothing around us shall remain the same again. The Lord who has caused these words to be spoken over our lives will watch over them to bring them to pass. This years conference has indeed been quite impactful, and I believe that the stage has been set for our young people to truly reign and take their world by storm. Just like I said at the opening night and it bears repetition; I believe that this conference will launch some of our young people into global recognition. I therefore call upon every young person to get ready because something unique is about to break forth in the world of TREM. Beloved, there is already a shift in the realm of the Spirit, and I can see the mighty Hand of God propelling you into a new season. It is a season of new things for you. You may have failed before, but because you are royalty, dust yourself, square your shoulders and get ready to sit on your throne. Get ready to be launched into prominence from today. Listen, this is your moment of acceleration! I prophesy over your life that what took me close to forty years to achieve will come easy for you in Jesus name. As a father, I declare that this is your finest hour. This is your season! This is your defining moment! Something fresh is about to break forth from your life. Hitherto, no one may have reckoned with you, but after this conference, I declare that you will fly. Beloved, it is no longer news that young people all over the world are daily making impact both in the secular world and in the Kingdom. The point is that if they can impact their world, then you too can. As a Believer, you actually have the advantage of the God factor. For instance, we are told in 2 Chronicles 26 that Uzziah was sixteen years old when he became King in Judah, and he ruled for fifty two years. That was unprecedented in the history of Kings, but the clincher was that he ruled well even as a young person. I itch when I see young people wasting their time and God given resources on mundane things. Put on your imagination; if Uzziah at that tender age could rule a nation, then what excuse do you have not to excel in your campus, job, or wherever the Lord has located you? My dear young person, it is pertinent to note also that King Uzziah came to the throne at a time when it was not fashionable to serve God. Beloved, at sixteen he made a choice that eternally changed his life and destiny. What choices are you making today? I encourage you to follow the Lord with all your heart and strength. Remember that prophesy has gone ahead of you, but like I would always say; the blessings would not just fall on you like a bag of cherries. You have a role to play. I encourage you to take a quality decision today to serve the God fervently and be a student of the Bible so that you will be properly guided. The Psalmist says in Psalms 119: 9 wherewith shall a young man cleanse his way? The b part of that scripture says by taking heed thereto according to thy word. Beloved, your friends may suggest that you join them in their carefree lifestyle, but you have a responsibility to say no because you are a Kingdom person. You are royalty and there are things that kings dont do. Diligently take heed to the word of God. Let the word of God be the final arbiter on all matters. They may call you names, but choose to be different. Hang in there because pretty soon God will be glorified in your life when they see your good works. We are told that King Uzziahs defining moment came when God helped him both against his enemies and in building great infrastructures that earned him respect. My prayer is that as you continuously serve God, He will help you and show you a token for good. Beloved, as you leave this conference, I have prayed and I am a firm believer that eyes have not seen neither have ears heard nor has it entered into the heart of man what God has in stock for you. God will drop some incredible ideas into your spirit that will blow your mind away and take your world by storm. I declare that the world will hear of you. You will never go under because you are the seed of the righteous. No man will sit on your throne. You will not labour for trouble. I prophesy that you will go from one level of greatness to the other. Uncommon wisdom and creativity shall be your portion in Jesus name. Indeed, you are the next miracle to be celebrated. This moment will not pass you by. As a father in the house, I bless you. Maranatha!
