This w ing should be built all in p iece it has no dihedra l. If you don't have sp ars long enough for the w ing you can splice themone tim e on e ach spar to m ake themlonger. How ever youm ust put the splicedspars in different locations through out thew ing to spread out a nyload on them . It w o uld also be best to keepthemnear the spar d oublers of the m ain spar. Make your spliceat an angel of about a n inch and glue w ithm ediumCA. I have do ne this w ith other w ings w ith little strength concerns. If you like yo u can build it in tw o sections but you w ill n eed to m ake a plyjoin er to slide into the w ing fromthe center at th e rear of the m ain spa r doublers. 5 ply1/8" birch is a good choose for this. You w ill ne ed to m ake a slot for th is 1/8 joiner in 2 W -1ribs. It w ill need to pass into tw o rib bays ineach panel. Epoxythepanels centers and jo iner w ith 30 m inute e poxygiving you tim e to w ork. Then som e 2" glass cloth around th e seamw ith m ediu mCA w ill hold her together.
