Using the LaGard Programmer ( 21-016302-000A )

1. Connecting the Programmer to the Entry Pad Port Programmer and Location of the Connection to the Programmer on the Lock

2. Enter Primary combination. ( New locks have a primary combination of 1 2 3 4 5 6 ) If the combination is valid, the LCD displays the programmer switch settings as follows: --:-1 7 where the digits before the colon on the first line indicate the time delay period, the digits after the colon on the first line indicate the open time period, and the digits on the second line indicate the feature codes. NOTE If an incorrect combination of options has been selected, the feature codes flash on the LCD display. Press the 9 key to escape. Reset the switch settings for the proper options, and start this procedure again. 3. To transmit the settings to the lock, press and hold the 0 key on the programmer until the LCD displays the . message donE. If the transmission of data is not successful, the LCD displays the message FAIL. Check the lock connection, the switch settings, the batteries, and then restart this procedure. Verifying the Switch Settings Perform the following procedure to verify the switch settings of the programmer and the electronic lock. 1. Connect the programmer to the electronic lock's entry pad port. 2. Enter the lock's primary user combination. The programmer's LCD displays the programmer's settings. See Tables for the feature codes. 3. Press the 1 key. The programmer's LCD displays the lock settings. The LCD display flashes. 4. Press the 0 key to return to the programmer's settings. If the programmer is not connected to the lock, press 33 to view the programmer switch settings. Second User Combination The following features require a second user combination: Dual combination Remote override signal Time delay override Manager mode
