Well this assignment was not easy but I got it done. It was fun making the brochure, especially coming up with the idea because then you can do anything you want with your design. I love nature so I wanted to go with caring for mother earth. I was somehow inspired by the discowvery channel. With animals and actually caring for this planet we live on. So I choose a color scheme. Which was Complementary which is blue and orange. And I choose animals to insert that go with this color scheme. After that it was simple I set up my margins, inserted, cropped, and feathered almost all my images. The text however was more complex I needed a right font and size so a print cursive was my best bet. I wanted to persuade and convince my audience this was something they want to read on. Then summed up ultimately my point of view on this topic. Folding the brochure was difficult but it came out a little off I reprinted like 4 times but it did not fall through till my last print when it finally came up exactly how I pictured it. To care for our environment under any circumstances.

First I made a sketch of ideas I wanted to incorporate. The images i wanted, i knew i wanted to be very vivid and ,mind-blowing!Obviously i used the universe but i want something as a topic to go along with that such as Global Warming, although i wanted it to say something sharp and to the point about what we as people are committing and doing to our own planet, thus "we're gonna let it burn" it is something to the point and i believe it pops out as what i want to incorporate in my design. I choose my images from photo bucket at first but did not like the results so I alternated to google of course, which never fails to help me in a time of need! After choosing my images, I used masking and many layers to form my images, at first it looked horrible incorporating the hand and also the space time continuum together so i decided to have a fade in it, a fade to black. And framing around it to make the burning Earth and space appealing to the eye. Ultimately the masking tool became my best friend and i obtained the exact design i had in mind. Stop Global Warming!

This was most likely my favorite project by far, i love going out into the feild to gather information or in this case photos for this weeks assignment! I thought it difficult to work with photoshop on this one but it did teach me multiple new things on what is most idealistic to use with color scheme as well as sharpness of the image. It took me time to get the photos i really wanted but ultimately i obtained them. The focus was difficult but i was also able to learn how to achieve that. I then brought the photo into Photoshop and used these editing techniques: levels, sharpness, saturation, and color balance. I incorporate my color scheme title, color swatches, and color names into my design. This all helped me to reach my ultimate goal of having a sharp image. I flattened all the layers for the image in the end and Received the piece i wanted. Dreams can come true.

I scanned the image and because national geographic magazines are bound different it gave me a hard time but i pulled through. The boxing was also difficult but i wanted to form a unusual flow to my flier in hopes that it might stand out against the back drop of color. I especially wanted a different color scheme to mine without using boxes or perfect alignment, what better image to use then a amazon tree frog and text that stands solo.

Using text tools I wanted to promote that this is for not only graduates but leaders especially, I was careful not to minimize that in the title bar. To contrast with the text I thought best to use a certain design, throughout the design I stuck with rectangles, bars, and squares to create a sharp edginess to it. I thought it significant to emphasize on the DTP (Date, Time, & Place) and also the website to make it pop to the audience eye to see what is most important in the flier. Also because if the audience needed more information the website was a good source to obtain more information. To reach graduates who want to pursue a career with being a leader for fellow mankind and know how to be professional.

:First I thought of an idea that would want to sell and That I would like to advertise. And honey is one of my favorite things to eat, so I decided to make my own brand of honey. Illustrator was different but not so difficult as I have had with other applications. I wanted to use the paintbrush and also the converter tool in my design so I planned on making an edgy, fun, and simple design. which with the tools and color scheme of black and yellow. it worked out perfectly.

I found this project very easy to achieve, it showed me allot about using specific tools and also showed me what I can do with the design to advertise myself or whatever brand I am trying to convince my object to look into. At first I was going to do a honey company of some sort but the red I think added an edge to the design that made me choose to go with a dating company instead. I also wanted the design to seem a bit more hypnotizing in its layout so that it had good flow, was structured well, and especially to pop to the human eye.

The Letterhead was very diffrent from doing the buisness cards because i had to align my paper, know my margins, and also make a design that has a considerable amount of white space but can still look proffesional and edgy. I actually learned a lot doing the letterhead especially with diffrent tools in Illustrator. I think that the design goes well with the buisness card because our target is to get people to come to my company to date and persuade them that they will meet their spouse within our company. Then i used the rectangle tool to outline the design making it sharp. Our Company is proffessional and efficient.

I found this activity diffrent then the other ones i have done previously mostly because this required some handy work prior to creating the site. especially with the HTML- It was a lot of work but using the online sources and such it was simple once i began. It was unusual how difficult it was at first and then suddenly became easy. Pluging in the codes and positions of your site and where you wish everything to be really did change factors throughout my sites design. I wanted something simple and floral, mostly pastel colors but also something to sharpen the images look and create that WOW phenomena, which is why bolding the heading and making it Red was a no brainer. Show that my site is top stuff for Floral designing.
