(251) Everything in the Heavans and the Earth Glorifies Allah

Posted by alimedeen October 27th, 2013 Everything Glorif ies Allah: See you not (O Muhammad SAWS) that Allah, he it is Whom Glorif y whosoever is in the heavens and the earth, and the birds with wings out-spread (in their f light)? Of each one He (Allah) knows indeed his Salat (prayer) and his glorif ication, [or everyone knows his Salat (prayer) and his glorif ication]; and Allah is AllAware of what they do.[An-Nur 24:41] Allah tells us that whosoever is in the heavens and on the earth, i.e. the angels, mankind, Jinn, animals and even inanimate objects, all glorif y Him. T his is like the Ayah,T he seven heavens and the earth and all that is therein, glorif y Him and there is not a thing but glorif ies His Praise. But you understand not their glorif ication. Truly, He is Ever Forbearing, Of tf orgiving.[Al-Isra 17:44] And the birds with wings outspread. Means, while they are f lying they glorif y their Lord and worship Him with the glorif ication with which they are inspired and to which they are guided. Allah knows what they are doing, and so He says: Of each one He knows indeed his Salah and his glorif ication. Meaning, He has guided every creature to its own way of worshipping Allah, may He be glorif ied? T hen Allah tells us that He knows all of that and nothing is hidden f rom Him. T he creatures that dwell therein, sanctif y Him, exalt Him, glorif y Him and magnif y Him f ar above what these idolaters say, and they bear witness that He is One in His Lordship and Divinity. In everything there is a sign of Allah indicating that He is One. And there is not a thing but glorif ies His praise. T here is no created being that does not celebrate the praises of Allah. But you understand not their glorif ication. Means, You do not understand them, O mankind, because it is not like your languages. T his applies to all creatures generally, animals, inanimate and botanical. T his is the better known of the two opinions according to the most reliable of two opinions. It was reported in Sahih Al-Bukhari that Ibn Masud R.A. said: We used to hear the Tasbih of the f ood as it was being eaten.[Fath Al-Bari 6:679] Imam Ahmad recorded that Muadh bin Anas R.A. said that the Messenger of Allah SAWS came upon some people who were sitting on their mounts and talking to one another. He said to them: Ride them saf ely then leave them saf ely. Do not use them as chairs f or you to have conversations in the streets and marketplaces, because the one that is ridden may be better than the one who rides it, and may remember Allah more than he does.[Ahmad 3:439] An-Nasai recorded in his Sunan that Abdullah bin Amr said: T he Messenger of Allah SAWS f orbade us f rom killing f rogs.[An-Nasai 7:210, T he author mentioned an unauthentic narration that says: T heir croaking is Tasbih
