Availability of Application Forms: Application Forms along with Prospectus can be obtained from HBL, University Branch by depositing Rs.950/- (each) from 10-3-2014. Most Important In few Teaching Departments NTS Test has been introduced, so, candidates applying for admission in those departments will have to deposit Rs. 750/- each (not refundable) in HBL University Branch, through Bank Challan and will attach Copy No. 2 with the Admission Form for submission in the concerned department. Application Forms (in duplicate) complete in all respects will be submitted in the concerned Teaching Departments up to 25-3-2014. Candidates applying against reserved seats under category B & C will have to submit their Application Forms to the Assistant Registrar (Students Affairs) with in due date. However, the dependents of the University Employees/Officers/Teachers will submit their application forms in the concerned Teaching

Departments and will appear in the Entry Test / NTS under category A. Thereafter, application of those candidates who do not come on merit under Category A will be sent to the Students Affairs Branch for placing them before Academic Committee in its meeting under Category C. Relaxation in dues to the direct dependents of University Employees (Son/Daughter/Spouse) will be the same either admission is granted under Category A or C. Three attested photocopies of Matric Certificate. Three attested photocopies of Intermediate Certificate. Three attested photocopies of Local/Domicile Certificate. Three attested photocopies of CNIC (each) of the applicants & their fathers /guardians. Three attested photocopies of Character Certificate from heads of the Institutions last attended. Three attested photocopies of University Registration Card if already registered. Affidavit (in original) from Magistrate 1st Class to the effect that you will not indulge in any kind of political activities during studies in the University. Each applicant and his/her father or guardian shall have to sign a declaration that he/she shall abide by all the rules and regulations of the University and he/she shall devote whole time to studies. Candidate having qualified from other Board or University shall have to submit in addition to the above a migration certificate in original from the concerned Board/University. In service applicants are required to produce; No objection Certificate and Study Leave Certificate from their Employer at the time of admission.

Eligibility:

Applicants who are local/domiciled residents of Balochistan and fulfill the academic pre-requisites under category A Direct dependents of personnel serving in Balochistan who are non-local non-domicile of Balochistan may as well be eligible for admission (on merit amongst them) under category B. (Son/Daughter/Spouse) Nominees of Armed Forces / FATA / AJK / NA / Disabled /Afghan Refugees / direct dependents working aboard / foreign students / direct dependents of University of Balochistan Teachers / Officers / Employees are also eligible for seeking admission under category C (on merit amongst themselves). (Son/Daughter/Spouse/Brother/Sister) Candidates who passed their qualifying examination two years prior to the year of admission, i.e. graduates of 2013 and 2012. However, in the disciplines where the number of applications is less than the number of allocation of seats relaxation of only one year i.e graduates of 2011 will be considered for admission. Applicants who have passed the qualifying examination earlier than three years prior to the year of admission shall not be eligible for admission even if the seats are vacant in a department.

Ineligibility:

Following are not eligible for admission: i) Applicants who are non local non domicile of Balochistan except those who apply under category B & C (through proper channel). ii) Applicants who do not fulfill the academic prerequisites. iii) Applicants who have qualified in 2010 and earlier or passed the qualifying examination in (Supp: 2013) or who have been placed in compartment in the qualifying Annual examination-2013. iv) Applicants who have already passed Post Graduate Degree Program of Studies as a regular from this University or on the roll of any teaching department of the University. v) If a student is found guilty of double admission at any stage during the study program his/her

subsequent admission shall be cancelled and the fee deposited shall not be refunded.

Admission in all the Teaching Departments shall be given as per University Policy. Test/Interview of the eligible candidates will be held in all the concerned Teaching Departments as per schedule given below: Each applicant will have to qualify the Entry Test / NTS Test with 45% marks for becoming eligible for the admission, as applied for. Candidates must bring with them all their original documents at the time of Interview. If a candidate fails to make payments to admission dues up to the last date so fixed, his/her admission will stand cancelled and the next on waiting list will be considered for admission. In such a case he/she cannot claim his admission, however, if seats were still available in the concerned department, he/she will be given a chance to deposit the prescribed dues

Note: Applicants must collect Acknowledgement Receipt for each Application Form from the quarter concerned which shall be produced at the time of interview.

After expiry of last date i.e 25-3-2014, no Application Form will be entertained.
