Background
Six Flags Magic Mountain wishes to improve their company perception as a leader in environmental planning and design in their parks in order to attract a more conscientious green crowd and perhaps save money along the way. To this end they are entertaining suggestions for new designs or retrofitting existing elements of the park to be more efficient incorporate renewable technology or employ clean technology. The park will accept all ideas for these clean technology enhancements through !pril "#th and invites designers to come out to the park on !pril $$nd to explore the feasibility of their design and consider modifications that may be necessary. %night &igh School ''( academy students are invited to participate.

Design Statement
)n your own or with a partner from the same class period you are to come up with a clean technology application for Magic Mountain to incorporate in the near future and describe it in detail including applicable sketches costs and area for placement etc.

Proposal Constraints and Deliverables

". *our design must emphasi+e clean technology or renewable energy. $. *our design must be safe to implement both for guests and employees of the park as well as for the grounds itself as the whole point is a higher degree of environmental stewardship. ,. *ou should ade-uately describe your idea in sufficient detail so that an independent reader can fully understand what is being proposed without any additional verbal explanation necessary. .. ! sketch drawing or computer designed image should accompany each idea. /. !ssociated costs and potential savings involved should be included in the proposal. 0. !ctual values found online should be used for the cost portion not mere estimates. 1. 2roposals may be large or small in scale however all components noted herein still apply.

Day of Visit
!s we visit the park students are to investigate the feasibility of their proposal on site and develop ideas for ways in which they may need to modify their idea based on site observations customer feedback etc. To help accomplish this they are to poll at least "3 park visitors about their idea and get a response on what they think of the concept. The pollees may not be part of our group.
