Report on Contract Completion Muhammad Moinuddin Background 24th October 2013 was not just like any other

day for me. On this day a dream of mine came true. I was appointed to work as an Intern in a world renowned non-profit organization called GIZ. I have been working as an intern in Justice Reform Corruption Prevention project. I have been working for Output 5 which is Criminal Justice Development. I would like to thank all my team members for their cooperation. I would like to take opportunity to thank all my team members especially Mr Shamim & Mr Nazmi for their cooperation and effective guidelines.

Responsibility I was selected for assisting the process called Justice Audit. Beside Justice Audit I also assisted in other works in my output. The major responsibility that was bestowed upon me is listed below: Managing & organizing the overall data of Justice Audit which includes translation, interpretation and origination of data based on the requirement. Acting as a medium between International Consultant & District Focal Person. Attending a fieldtrip for 1 week at Comilla during a critical political situation. Visiting many public institutions for collecting data. It includes Court, Prison, and Police Stations.

Learning/Real Life Benefits My six months at GIZ has benefited me in many ways. First of all, it introduced me to a professional world, how this world works, its environment, etc. Secondly, it taught me how to balance between personal & professional life. Alongside my internship, I am also continuing

with my MBA. I could relate the example of my class very easily from my experience at GIZ. Most importantly my experience at GIZ has lifted up my confidence in many ways.

Contribution towards the organization On my first day to work, Mr Shamim told me Always work in such a way that people here will remember you even when you are gone from this organization. I greatly admired what he said as it inspired me immensely. It became my motto to work in such a way that people will remember not by my name but by my work. I was always able to finish my work before the deadline so that my delay would not hamper others job. I have even worked after office hours and on weekends in order to finish my work. During security Level 04, I have worked with International consultant in American club from a Rest House in Banani which was provided by the office. I have also performed some Extra-Curricular Activities during my internship; likeparticipated in drama, helped in organizing Cultural Program in Workshop at Rajendrapur. In the Cultural Program I was the official photographer.

Expectation The project I am working on is only at its initial stage. Since I have worked on project, even though on a small proportion, I would like to continue working on this till it reaches the very end. This project works towards the betterment of the society. Since I always wished to do something better for my society, working on this project seems like a way to fulfill that wish. I feel proud to be a member of the GIZ family. I am enjoying my work very much. Every day I feel like going to work with a new spirit and hopefully this will continue for a very long time.
