OSF Global Services Spreads the Spirit of Christmas Among Dozens of Underprivileged Children
Bucharest, January 14th 2014 During the 2013 winter holidays season, IT professional services provider OSF Global Services conducted a fundraising campaign in order to help underprivileged children from six Romanian cities. OSF employees from Iasi, Cluj Pitesti, Bucharest, Suceava and Brasov started the fundrasing activities from the begining of December. The company succeeded in doubling the funds raised by employees. With the money raised, OSF Global Services bought presents and food products for underprivileged Romanian families and a number of social institutions. In Iasi, over 50 children between ages 4 and 16 waited for Santa, who brought presents they have dreamed of the entire year: books, sweets, fruits and body care products. Together with the OSF Global Services team, children learned English and Romanian carols, short stories and plays. In the end, the children presented what they had learned during the Christmas festivities. In Cluj, presents such as sweets, fruits, and food packages brought many smiles to childrens faces from a local orphanage. The Bucharest team donated their funds to a social institution that protects woman victims of domestic violence. Additionally, both the mothers and children received new clothes. Funds raised by the Brasov team were donated to an orphanage in Covasna county. In addition, a family with five children and limited financial resources received school supplies and food products.

In Suceava, the OSF team directed their funds to a retirement home in Radauti that purchased a new TV and footwear for 36 people. Plus, a single mother received financial support for her medical problems. In Pitesti, OSF Global Services brought an underprivileged family, with 13 children and 25 grandchildren, food products, school supplies, sweets and toys for the children. In 2014, OSF Global Services aims to continue their charity actions, trying to support underprivileged children every day, not only during the holiday seasons. Thus, we aim to help them achieve a better future.
