Objective and responsibilities: Achievement of set annual objectives.

Major Responsibilities : I) Individual Tasks 1. Follow standard operating procedures for handling & checking enquiries of standard & standard plus products for Water& Waste Water business units covered under KSB Pakistan / KSB Groups production program. 2. Provide technical assistance to Sales on selection for areas not covered in the standard scope of KSB Groups production program. 3. Develop standard solutions on appropriate selection of KSB products and their installation; providing technical support to KSB Pakistans sales staff on hydraulics, mechanical and metallurgical design for all offers. 4. Visit sites for finalization of installation arrangement of typical nature prior to offer finalization. 5. Participate actively in the planning & execution of departmental objectives. 6. Liaise with consultants/ contractors to identify new business opportunities in the market in the sectors allocated to the incumbent 7. Receive customer query, visit customer site (if required), discuss customer needs, analyze potential for conversion to order/sales, and prepare the quote (fin. & tech.), negotiate within defined authority levels, finalize and signoff the contract 8. Meet existing clients to explore ongoing / replacement needs. 9. Educate customers on KSB products that can serve their needs better. 10. Track and monitor competitor products and pricing strategies. Il) Learning and Development: 1. Knowledge sharing: - Customer training on pump selection and products - Sales training on pump and selection and products

Requirement profile : Formal education Professional experience in years Special skills : Degree in Engineering (Mechanical) : At least 1-2 years of overall work experience. : Basic communication skills KSBs local & Group Product Know-how In-depth technical knowledge of the product, Computer skills MS Office; internal ERP Systems (Comet), knowledge of engineering Software like CAD. : Easy select, Helps

Key Interactions:
Key interaction - Internal Planning, Design, Purchase departments Nature or purpose of interaction Forecasting on ongoing basis to plan production and actual order execution Share information for payment collections, bank guarantees, etc. For installation of pumping machinery; coordinate with post sales service people in case of customer issues To discuss the feasibility for transfer of technology for select pumps required by the customers Key interaction - External Chambers of Commerce, Export centre, other customer associations Clients/ consultants Nature or purpose of interaction Seek and track information on potential clients/ customers from these associations Generating sales leads/ potential opportunities
