Best Buy Project

You must create and present a visual displaying the best buy of product This can be in any medium you prefer (e.g. poster, Prezi, power point, etc)

1) Choose a product that comes in different quantities e.g. pop comes in 1L, 2-L, 500 ml etc 2) Find three ads of one particular product for the three different quantities 3) Calculate the products Unit Price and indicate the best buy between the three quantities. 4) Now choose an alternate brand of your product that also comes in multiple quantities (i.e. Coke vs. no name) 5) Find three ads of the particular product for the three different quantities 6) Calculate the products Unit Price and indicate the best buy between the three quantities 7) Determine which brand has the better buy 8) Include two interesting facts about your product (e.g. How much is produced each day) 9) Create a summative statement about what you noticed when comparing the unit prices and comparing the brands (e.g. Quality, packaging being bigger than the quantity you are getting)

A quality assignment will have: a) A neat easy to read title and information b) Visual creativity with pictures of each product item c) A unit price for each item, including the calculations and the units of measurement d) The best buy shown clearly e) Two interesting facts f) A summative statement about what you noticed when comparing the unit prices of the three sizes and brands g) An appealing overall appearance

** Be aware of products that come in multi-packs like pop. You need to calculate the total amount of product before figuring out the unit price
