AbstractNowadays, Radio Frequency Identification applications (RFID) are widely developed and become more and more popular. !e RFID systems include two main parts, i.e. RFID "ta#$ and t!e "reader$. In t!e "ta#$, t!e most important component is t!e antenna. In t!e literature, various %inds of antennas !ave been desi#ned for RFID applications. !e RFID "ta#$ must be small and t!in so t!at it can be easily attac!ed to t!e pac%a#es, plastic cards, tic%ets, clot!in# labels, pallets and boo%s. !erefore, t!e desi#ned antenna must also fit into t!e "ta#$. &oreover, for eac! RFID application requires a specific frequency band wit! !i#! speed, more accuracy, more convenient and c!eapest price so t!e antenna desi#n for t!e RFID ta# is necessary. oday 'ietnam !as been developin# and e(pandin# t!e automatic toll station for ve!icles usin# RFID. !erefore, RFID cards must be send and receive faster in a lon# distance usin# microwave antennas. In our researc! pro)ect, an antenna prototype for RFID application !as been studied, desi#ned, fabricated and measured. !e results from t!e desi#ned antenna met all t!e above requirements.
