Founded 160 years ago, St. Vincent de Paul is a Catholic lay charitable organization serving the poor and homeless with shelter, food and various campus programs for residents.
Yum! Brands & St. Vincent de Paul Garden of Hope Lead a team of 10 people in developing a garden for the residents of SVDP to enjoy and share in the responsibilities of maintaining it. Vegetables from the garden went directly to the Open-Hand Kitchen, an on-site kitchen / dining service for residents. Led team of Yum! associates in volunteering at the Open-Hand Kitchen on quarterly basis since 2008.
