New Worker Team Charter
Task: Develop plans for attracting and supporting new workers
Deliverables:
• Produce data regarding Allied Health needs.
Identify the populations need for allied health care
Review existing information sources
• Perform a needs assessment for new workers (include data from current providers)
• Investigate current impediments to attracting new workers
• Prioritize new worker needs
• Develop strategies to meet priority needs, such as:
A community outreach plan
Mechanisms to expose youth to health care careers
Ground Rules:
• Meet on a regularly scheduled basis
• All meetings to be planned, facilitated and result in action lists of who will do what
and by when.
• Try not to replicate work that is already going on. Add value.
• Seek community input on both strategies and plans.
• Develop a framework to deliver support services to assist candidates with
what they to attain the required skills/education
Measures of Success
• Meet the deliverables within the allotted time frame
