Start: Bingemma 90m asl. (opposite large wind turbine)

Distance: 5.6km

Finish: Kuncizzjoni chapel

Highest Point: 3km 236m asl.

Elevation gain: 146m Elevation loss: 36m

Categories: Senior Men/Senior Women; Masters Men/Masters Women

Presentation: The presentation will be held at 20.45 at Mgarr local
council/Mgarr square by the church

Route: Start is in Bingemma at the open space adjacent to the large wind
turbine at 90m asl. Immediately take a sharp right proceeding straight ahead
on a gradual incline up the first kilometer mark. Continue straight to a steep
incline passing by Bingemma Chapel to reach the 2
nd
kilometer mark. Keep
right past the bus stop and keep climbing to reach the highest point 236m asl
on the 3
rd
kilometer mark, slightly descending to reach a crossroads, go
straight ahead to a small winding road until you reach newly tarmacked
surface exiting on the 4
th
km mark to tas-Santi Road leading to
Bahrija/Kuncizzjoni. Turn left and take the 2
nd
off-road path leading directly to
Kuncizzjoni road, turn sharp right and straight to the last hill finishing in slight
descent at the Kuncizzjoni chapel.

The route will be mainly traffic free and there will be markings on every
kilometer.
Eligibility: Any male or female athlete who is at least 17 years old on the day
of race is eligible to participate. Only Maltese Nationals will be eligible for
National Champion titles and rankings.
Refreshments: Refreshments will be available at the finish for all participants.
Massage: Perskindol Massage will be offered to finishers at the end of the
race.
Transport service/parking: There is plenty of parking space at the start of
the race at the open space on the side of Bingemma cemetery/wind turbine.
There will also be a free shuttle van, taking athletes from the finish back to the
start.
Entry Fee: 10euro up to 9
th
June, 15euro up to 1hour before the start of the
race.
