Reagen with Autism one year after a Stem Cell Treatement

To Rudy & the wonderful staff @ WSCC, Reagan is doing SO well. Since the procedure his circulation has remained great.no cold feet. His skin is also very healthyno eczema. Physically, he is in good shape. No colds, coughs, or runny nose since the procedure. He does not even catch what my other kids catch. He can go up and down stairs using a handrail with no assistance. He seems stronger since we came home from Cancun and more energetic. But, he still runs out of energy much faster than my other kids and requires a nap every afternoon. He sleeps well all night. He is still in PT, OT, and Speech therapy. He still has OCD issues with food. He is still on the GFCF diet and we are still having a hard time getting him to gain weight but he has gained a few pounds in the last couple months. His sensory issues are really no problem. He no longer respond negativity to crowds or sudden loud noises. Fine and gross motor skills still need a lot of work but have improved. He attempts to repeat words and he is using more sign language. Speaking is difficult for him. He makes lots of sounds that do not resemble words, but he tries. He nods and responds to me when I ask him questions or give him directions. He undresses himself with no problem. Needs help to get dressed. He is going to the potty much more and now will tell us if he needs to go. He is still not completely potty trained but much improvement there. Emotionally, he seems happy all the time. Lots of smiles and laughing. He tries to tease us a lot and he thinks he is funny. He has no anxiety at all! No meltdowns! He shakes hands, high fives, and fist bumps a lot. He loves to kiss and hug! He shows lots of affection. He will wave and say hi to anyone. He is very outgoing and friendly. Developmentally, he has more focus and will participate more than he used to. His negative behaviors do distract from learning so education is slow going. But, his teachers tell me he is so much better in that area than last year. He displays negative behaviors to get attentionyelling, throwing things, spitting, he even regurgitates his food. But, he does respond to discipline. He is really a sweetie and the people that work with him really seem to love him. They describe him as a smart kid with much potential. He is very quick in his ability to follow directions.
