Employment History
Three Mobile
Social Media Customer Services Advisor (August 2013 Present) Started out as a Sales Advisor, handling inbound calls, listening to customer needs, asking probing questions in order to deliver the correct package. Building trust over a short period of time by being genuinely customer focused which resulted in my conversion rate being the highest in Glasgow during my time on the sales floor. Applied & successful in attaining a role in the new Social Media Dept - It represented a chance to have a greater influence on the company from an internal perspective and secured a higher salary for my family and I. Growing my familiarity in the Social Media circles (Twitter, Facebook, Blog & E-Mail), I was able to build trust, make successful relationships over a short period of time and set expectations accordingly. Accessing accounts securely (DPA), improving an already established set of skills in using Microsoft (Outlook, Word, Excel)

1 Call Direct

Telesales Advisor (August 2012 - January 2013) I'd take incoming calls from customers who already had a product with Orange and look to take that relationship to the next level. As per, I'd understand the customers needs by listening to them and asking probing questions in order to find a package that suited them showing great customer focus and in turn building trust. I exceeded my targets during my probationary period and so was fast tracked onto a higher grade sales team, which was considered a harder sell. I was happy in being able to inspire that sort of commitment from my employers at such an early stage.

Micrositez UK

Senior Account Manager (Oct 2011 - March 2012) Fast tracked from training floor to calls actual in company record time. Taking incoming calls/leads, I delivered first class communication skills, quickly establishing trust which in turn made it easier to deliver the customers desires.

Putting the customer first saw me achieve 70,000 in sales for the period Nov' 2011 - March 2012
which more than saw me exceed my targets. I was also account manager for many of our clients which was a responsibility I was hunfry for. Having built that trust at the initial sales stage, sticking with the company was the natural way for my particular clients to react when it came to the next step in our realtionship. I was also responsible for delivering client reports for each stage of their campaign. My clients were always happy to meet up for a face to face meeting which in turn strenghtened the relationship.

Gift Fundraising
Street Fundraiser, Asst Manager, Acting Manager (April 2008 - October 2011) Started off as a general street fundraiser. Building trust over a short period of time and adapting my pitch to suit the customer, I exceeded all targets in my first 4 months at the company. Due to going above and beyond the requirements of my role, I was asked to apply for the Asst Manager position and was successful. This saw me undertake new responsibilities, mainly hiring/training staff, setting team & individual targets, team building/complimenting When required to be, I would take on the role of Acting Manager, a huge show of faith from the company which further cemented my position as avaluable cog in the wheel.

Arnold Clark
Car Salesman (Feb 2008 - April 2008) Working in a face to face environment I was able to identify customer needs from key indicators, build trust & show customer focus. I was also able to work through existing customer records, identify leads and look to up-sell where appropriate for the customer. I had no targets in the time I enjoyed at AC and left for personal reasons, mainly trying to find the right environment at the time of the birth of my son. I was afforded the showroom almost immediately and achieved the feat of selling 12 cars in my first month, a feat never seen before in the Renault branch at Bishopbriggs.

Sky

Retentions Advisor (Nov' 2007 - Feb 2008)

Customer would call looking to end their relationship with the company. It was my job to
BBC

understand the 'real' reason for the call. Once that was established, I'd use probing questions to identify the customers needs. I exceeded my targets month on month during my time at Sky.

Actor (June 2004 - Nov' 2007)

Working within a large employee base, it was essential to build and maintain strong working
relationships across the company.

Over time I've felt that being an actor has enhanced my ability in a sales environment. Honing such
skills as your memory, the ability to change your persona dependant on the situation has certainly been a factor in my ability to build strong working relationships wherever I've worked.
