The Advanced Panels offer includes the range of Magelis GXO touch screen terminals dedicated to manufacturers of simple machines in the following elds: b Textiles b Packaging b Agribusiness b Machine-tools b Heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) b Plastics and rubber This range of Magelis GXO touch screen terminals consists of 3 models with 2 sizes of colour TFT screen: b 7 Wide (HMI GXO 3501 and HMI GXO 3502) b 10 Wide (HMI GXO 5502)

Operation
Magelis GXO touch screen terminals have two communication ports for: b Storage of the application and logs on an external application memory card in USB stick format (1) b Managing peripheral equipment: printer, barcode reader, loudspeakers, etc.

Conguration

Magelis GXO touch screen terminals are congured using Vijeo Designer software in Windows XP Professional, Windows Vista or Windows 7 environments. This conguration software boasts an advanced user interface with many congurable windows, enabling projects to be developed quickly and easily.

Magelis GXO terminals feature: On the front panel 1 An LED on/off indicator. 2 A 7 Wide colour touch screen for HMI GXO 350p. 3 A 10 Wide colour touch screen for HMI GXO 5502.

On the rear panel 4 Screw clip panel mounting system (included in the xing kit supplied with the terminal): - 4 xing points for HMI GXO 350p - 6 xing points for HMI GXO 5502 5 On HMI GXO 3502 and HMI GXO 5502, a slot containing the data backup lithium battery (battery supplied). Direct access makes it easier to replace the battery (HMI ZSBA1). 6 A USB mini-B port.

Adaptors and isolation boxes

These adaptors are for use with the connection cables, as appropriate. For example, cable XBT Z968 is used with adaptor XBT ZG909, to connect a Twido controller (via its terminal port) to a Magelis GXO terminal (via its COM2 port).
