SKILLS SPEC. 4.5.3 Construct simple sentences independently based on the words and pictures given. L / OBJECTIVE By the end of the writing process, pupils will be able to score : (a) Intermediate proficiency pupils : 5/10 marks (Norazarina, Syahid, Norasyaqirin and Nazmie) (b) low proficiency pupils : 3/10 GRAMMAR VOCABULARY T & L MATERIAL Set Induction (5 minutes) Simple present tense , present continuous tense nouns : family / living room / congkak / mat / sofa / cake / tea Verbs : reading / pouring / serving Worksheet A (word maze) / Worksheet B ( writing task) (1) Tr. introduces and explains the first activity of the day to the pupils. (2) Tr. distributes Worksheet A to the pupils. (3) Pupils search for 10 words in the maze. (4) Teacher and pupils discuss the solution to the maze together. (5) Tr. uses the pupils response to introduce the lesson of the day. (6) Tr. explains the second activity. (7) Tr. distributes Worksheet B to the pupils. (8) Tr. starts the PowerPoint presentation. (9) Tr. gets the pupils to match the words given to the objects or actions found in the picture. (10) Teacher introduces and explains the third activity to the pupils. (11) Teacher guides pupils to construct by answering a set of questions. (13) Pupils construct their sentences orally or written on the chalk board. (15) Tr. discusses the pupils answers together.
