Microsoft announced that support for all
operating systems older than Windows 2000
would be withdrawn from 11 July, 2006.
Microsoft is ceasing support for these
products because they are outdated and can
expose you to security risks. In addition, the
underlying hardware itself will probably be
struggling to cope with the latest versions of
Optisoft and any other applications you are
using. Every new version increases the
processing demand and that, combined with
increasing data requirements, will result in
the system getting slower and slower.
Therefore, we recommend that customers
replace all PCs running Windows 95/98/
Millennium Edition (ME) immediately, to
ensure the continued security, speed and
efficiency of their Practice Management
System is maintained. If you are unsure

operating systems older than Windows 2000
would be withdrawn from 11 July, 2006.
Microsoft is ceasing support for these
products because they are outdated and can
expose you to security risks. In addition, the
underlying hardware itself will probably be
struggling to cope with the latest versions of
Optisoft and any other applications you are
using. Every new version increases the
processing demand and that, combined with
increasing data requirements, will result in
the system getting slower and slower.
Therefore, we recommend that customers
replace all PCs running Windows 95/98/
Millennium Edition (ME) immediately, to
ensure the continued security, speed and
efficiency of their Practice Management
