El reino de Adandonzan es, sin dudas, uno de los temas más con-
trovertidos dentro de la historia colonial de Dahomey. La fuente
de esta controversia es la tradición oficial, que ha borrado su nombre
completamente de las listas de reyes de Dahomey. Esta medida
sin precedentes ha sido justificada por los crímenes, también sin
