Tutto ebbe inizio immediatamente dopo la Seconda Guerra Mondiale, quando AGV cominci la sua attivit come azienda produttrice di selle in cuoio e sellini per biciclette. Ma fu nel 1947 che lo storico fondatore, il Sig. Gino Amisano, entr a gran voce nel mondo delle 2 ruote riscuotendo n dagli esordi un successo che diede allazienda la possibilit di avvicinarsi alle competizioni sportive. Gi agli inizi degli anni 50 AGV si propose sul mercato con il primo casco a scodella completamente in bra. Pochi anni dopo, grazie allesperienza acquisita nella progettazione di un casco utilizzato per il chilometro lanciato sugli sci, si giunse alla produzione del primo casco integrale da moto. Nel corso degli anni sono moltissimi i piloti che, correndo in tutte le categorie delle competizioni motoristiche, decidono di legare il proprio nome al marchio piemontese: Giacomo Agostini, Barry Sheene, Kenny Roberts, Johnny Ceccotto, Angel Nieto, Marco Lucchinelli, Franco Uncini, Fausto Gresini, Niki Lauda, Nelson Piquet, Emerson Fittipaldi, Randy Mamola, Loris Capirossi, Max Biaggi, Luca Cadalora e molti altri. Nel 1988 viene acquisito il marchio MDS che in pochissimo tempo si afferma per la sua versatilit di impiego. Everything began immediately after the Second World War when AGV started out ad as manufacturer of leather seats and bicycle saddles. But it was in 1947 that Mr Gino Amisano, the historical founder, entered into the motorcycle helmets world; an important step which gained since the beginning unprecedented commercial success together with the chance of being part of sport competitions. In the early 50s AGV produced the rst 100% berglass open-face helmet. Few years later, taking advantage of the experience acquired in creating a special helmet to run the ying start kilometre on skis, AGV developed the rst berglass full-face helmet. Since the beginning, AGVs history has been directly linked to the one of riders who have made the motorcycle history: Giacomo Agostini, Barry Sheene, Kenny Roberts, Johnny Ceccotto, Angel Nieto, Marco Lucchinelli, Franco Uncini, Fausto Gresini, Niki Lauda, Nelson Piquet, Emerson Fittipaldi, Randy Mamola, Loris Capirossi, Max Biaggi, Luca Cadalora and many others. In 1988 AGV completed its range of products with the acquisition of MDS, a brand that in very short time emerged by virtue of its versatility. Das Ganze nahm unmittelbar nach dem zweiten Weltkrieg seine Anfnge, als AGV ihre Ttigkeit mit der Herstellung von Leder- und Fahrradsatteln begann. Doch erst im Jahr 1947, als der historische Grnder, Herr Gino Amisano, mit Nachdruck die Zweiradwelt betrat und von Anfang an Erfolge einkassierte, bot sich dem Unternehmen die Mglichkeit, sich den Sportwettbewerben zu nhern. Bereits zu Beginn der 50er Jahre stellte sich AGV dem Markt mit ihrem ersten vollstndig aus Fasern hergestellten Schsselhelm. Und nur wenige Jahre spter kam dank der bei der Entwicklung eines Helmes fr das KilometerSkispringen gewonnenen Erfahrung die Produktion des ersten Integralhelmes fr Motorrder in Gang. Im Verlauf der Jahre entscheiden sich zahlreiche Motorradpiloten aus smtlichen Wettbewerbskategorien zur Bindung ihres Namens an die piemontesische Marke: Giacomo Agostini, Barry Sheene, Kenny Roberts, Johnny Ceccotto, Angel Nieto, Marco Lucchinelli, Franco Uncini, Fausto Gresini, Niki Lauda, Nelson Piquet, Emerson Fittipaldi, Randy Mamola, Loris Capirossi, Max Biaggi, Luca Cadalora und viele andere. Nel 1977 AGV decide di aderire al progetto di realizzazione della prima Clinica Mobile, una struttura in grado di dare le prime cure di emergenza a tutti quei piloti coinvolti in incidenti durante le gare. Questa collaborazione continua ancora oggi. In 1977 AGV, which had been always investing to reach the highest safety standards, decided to commit itself to the Clinica Mobile project by sustaining all costs for the rst structure, a facility to provide emergency care to the riders that have suffered injuries during races. This partnership is still alive today. Im Jahr 1977 trifft AGV die Entscheidung fr die Teilnahme am Projekt zur Realisierung der ersten Mobilklinik, einer Einrichtung, die sich dazu in der Lage bendet, den whrend der Wettrennen in Unflle verwickelten Piloten die erste Hilfe zu leisten. Und diese Zusammenarbeit dauert bis heute weiterhin an. En 1977, AGV dcide de contribuer un projet visant raliser la premire unit de soins mobile, une structure capable dadministrer les premiers soins tous les pilotes victimes daccidents pendant les courses. Cette collaboration contenue encore aujourdhui. Die neue Version von D-Mobile ist das Ergebnis der Zusammenarbeit von Dainese mit dem AGV- Racing- Service. AGV ha negli anni perfezionato un metodo di progettazione integrato nel quale conuiscono ricerche, conoscenze ed esperienze multidisciplinari nalizzate al miglioramento costante del prodotto. Il progetto in ogni fase gestito digitalmente creando inizialmente bozzetti di stile (1) e renderings fotorealistici (2) che attraverso la modellazione 3D (3-4) (C.A.I.D. - Computer Aided Industrial Design) e la progettazione meccanica (5) (C.A.D. - Computer Aided Design) diventano matematiche utili a generare un ambiente virtuale condiviso dai differenti ambiti coinvolti nello sviluppo del prodotto (designers, parte commerciale, ingegneri progettisti, industrializzazione, collaudatori). Al termine di alcune importanti iterazioni, la bont delle scelte progettuali validata tramite una serie di prototipi rapidi, analisi FEA (6) (Finite Elements model Analysis cio crash virtuali) e FMEA (Failure and Mode Effect Analysis) che studiano minuziosamente le caratteristiche nali del prodotto (estetiche-dimensionali-funzionaliaerodinamiche-ergonomiche-strutturali) prima della fase di industrializzazione. Realizzate accuratamente le attrezzature di produzione, si preparano i prototipi per lomologazione, per il collaudo su strada e su pista prima del lancio sul mercato. Over the years, AGV has perfected an integrated design system where research, knowledge and different areas of expertise have come together with the aim of constantly improving our products. This system is managed digitally at every stage; we begin with hand sketches (1) and realistic photographic renderings (2), which after a digital mock-up stage (3-4) (C.A.I.D. - Computer Aided Industrial Design) and mechanical design (5) (C.A.D. - Computer Aided Design) become 3D les that can be used to generate a virtual environment. This is made available to the various departments involved in product development (designers, the sales department, design engineers, the industrial production department and the product testing department). Having completed several important stages, the feasibility of design choices is conrmed using a series of rapid prototypes, an FEA analysis (6) (Finite Elements model Analysis, i.e virtual crashes) and a FMEA (Failure and Mode Effect Analysis), which study in ne detail a products nal features (aesthetic features-size-functions-aerodynamic performanceergonomic features-structural features), before industrial production begins. Having carefully prepared the machinery required for production, test prototypes are produced for road and track trials before a products launch on the market. This system allows us to have accurate and synergic control of every step in a products development, resulting in the constant improvement of a products performance. AGV hat im Laufe der Jahre eine integrierte Planungsmethode entwickelt, bei der zur konstanten Verbesserung des Produktes Forschungsergebnisse, Kenntnisse und Erfahrungen aus mehreren Sektoren zusammenieen. Das Projekt wird in jeder Phase digital gesteuert, indem anfangs Stilskizzen angefertigt werden (1) und fotorealistische Renderings (2), die durch die 3D-Modellierung (3-4) (C.A.I.D. - Computer Aided Industrial Design) und die mechanische Planung (5) (C.A.D. - Computer Aided Design) in mathematische Modelle bersetzt werden, sodass man einen virtuellen Raum schafft, den sich die verschiedenen, in die Produktentwicklung involvierten Abteilungen (Design, Verkauf, Ingenieure bzw. Planung, industrielle Produktion, technische Prfer) teilen. Nach Abschluss einiger wichtiger Phasen wird die Qualitt der bei der Planung gefllten Entscheidungen durch eine Reihe von schnellen Prototypen, durch FEA-Analysen (6) (Finite Elements model Analysis, d.h. virtuelle Crashs) und FMEA-Analysen (Failure and Mode Effect Analysis) besttigt, um die Endeigenschaften des Produktes (sthetikAbmessungen-Funktionalitt-Aerodynamik-Ergonomie-Aufbau) vor Beginn der industriellen Herstellung im Detail zu studieren. Nach sorgfltiger Ausarbeitung der Produktionsgerte werden die Prototypen fr die Zulassung sowie die Abnahme auf Strae und Piste angefertigt, bevor man das Produkt auf den Markt bringt. Mit dieser Methode kann jede Phase der Entwicklung sorgfltig kontrolliert und koordiniert werden, sodass man nach und nach die Produktleistungen verbessert.

Aprs avoir ralis soigneusement loutillage de production, on prpare les prototypes pour lhomologation, pour lessai sur route et sur circuit avant le lancement sur le march. Cette mthodologie permet un contrle ponctuel et synergique de chaque phase de dveloppement en amliorant progressivement les performances du produit. SHARP (Safety Helmet and Assessment Rating Programme) un nuovo programma, iniziato nel 2007 dal Dipartimento dei Trasporti inglese, che ha come obiettivo quello di fornire a tutti i motociclisti una valutazione assolutamente indipendente sulla sicurezza di molti dei caschi oggi in commercio sul mercato inglese. Il sistema di valutazione SHARP, che va da 1 (Min.) a 5 (Max.) stelle, si basa sui risultati ottenuti da una serie di test condotti in laboratorio. Secondo quanto emerso da questa ricerca, la vita di oltre 50 motociclisti potrebbe essere salvata ogni anno se venissero utilizzati caschi con punteggi pi elevati nella classica SHARP. A lo largo del recorrido, tanto urbano como extraurbano, la pantalla solar se puede accionar fcilmente desde fuera mediante una palanca situada en un lado del casco; para las operaciones de limpieza y sustitucin, se desmonta sin necesidad de herramientas.
