DMI has succeeded in publishing Indonesian

PALM OIL Directory in 2010 obtaining positive

responses from oil palm industries, fertilizer
industries, chemical industries, heavy equipment
industries, truck and transportation industries, banking
industries and other supporting industries. This
directory is appraised to assist their business
performance. Besides, many local and foreign
investors who seek for oil palm plantations and
refineries also found them in this directory. Therefore,
we feel proud because CDMI participates in improving
oil palm industry in the country and this directory can
be the main reference.

In line with the development of Oil Palm industry in
the country followed by the development of other
supporting industries, there are more investors
interested in entering this sector. Therefore, PT. CDMI
re-publishes I ndonesian OI L PALM & REFI NERY
Directory, 2012 which has much changed in total
companies and data accuracy displayed. In short, this
directory is more perfect than the previous one.

Based on investigation carried out by CDMI, oil palm
industries in the country have proposed permits to
Capital Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM) to
increase their production capacity. Most of them are
located in Sumatra, Kalimantan, Papua and others.
The investigation also found that there were many
acquisition of oil palm plantations and refineries so
their owners were also changed.

Indonesia should be proud because the investigation
output also shows that there are many oil palm
companies which are more aware of running the
sustained oil palm business by giving attention to the
environment and various biological. Some of them had
obtained Roundtable Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO)
certificates and other certificates from competent
institutions within and outside the country.

The directory contains approximately 1,500 oil palm
companies either upstream or downstream industries
spreading in entire country. So, this directory can be
used as the main reference to improve the
performance of companies.

According to a survey conducted by CDMI that there are many oil palm company groups

MUSIM MAS GROUP is the first oil palm company in Indonesia receiving Roundtable
SustainableofPalmOil(RSPO)certificatefromControlUnionWorldGroupthroughitssubsidiary
companyPT.MegasuryaMaslocatedinPelalawan,Riau.RSPOreceivedfor6plantationslocation
thewholeareaamounted28.336ha.Withthiscertification,MMhasproventhatthecompanyhas

TheASIANAGRIGroup,in2009throughitssubsidiarycompanyP.T.IntiIndosawitSubur,
the company proposed its application to obtain RSPO certificate for its plant in Jambi of 5,781
hectares with Fresh Fruit Bunches (FFB) production of 250,000 tons. In upcoming years, all
subsidiarycompanieswillfollowthisstep.

The SIME DARBY Group also kept on increasing total production of CPO with RSPO

RSPO (Roundtable Sustainable Palm Oil) certificate i.e. certification for managing the sustained
