options. Barring difficult graha in occupation of the native's domain-7 or perhaps a dysfunctional seventh lord, this setup typically yields an emotionally "available" relationship. By natural inclination, the spouse does most of the emotional "heavy lifting" in terms of continuous renegotiation of shared basis. The native is free to agree (or not) to the terms proposed. If L-7 or tenants of yuvati bhava are problematic, the spouse may need constant affirmation of the validity of the marriage contract, resulting in compulsive renegotiation. This behavior can be wearing, but it will be based in spousal emotional trauma, and can be relaxed through compassion & re-assurance over time. This spouse will keep going "back to the drawing board" in pursuit of new agreements, which will either ensure the longevity of the relationship or drive an impatient co-partner to distraction!

The psycho-intuitive lineage of the spouse may include emergency medicine, midwifery, and surgery, psychiatry and psychotherapy, private investment banking, tantric practices, or sorcery, along with healing & rejuvenation work of all kinds. Similar to the interpretation for domain12, much of the spouse's emotional engagement may be hidden from the native. Domain-8 represents the process of destruction & reconstitution, to which few are invited and fewer attend. The spouse derives a psycho-emotional identity (Chandra) from dramatic moments of the turning of the wheel of birth & death, where one life-force container

is destroyed and the life force moves - by nature or through tantric controlled direction - into the next container or form. The "emerging" of the life force as it leaves the old container en route to the new form, is the essence of domain-8. The native, having an earth-bound, materialistic, sensual, & familyoriented Moon in domain-2, may not easily understand the spousal attachment to intense, often frightening, and secret practices. A balance will be found in mutual appreciation of the immensity of the cycle of life and death, and mutual commitment to honor the cultural traditions which guide and sustain the human life force.

The balance is typically successful as each partner contributes complementary needs to this global-local relationship.

Spouse The spouse, indicated through domain-12, is withdrawn, private, privacy-seeking, or imaginative qualities that are adversarial to the shared trust of marriage (6thfrom-7th). First spouse is identified with foreign travel and distant lands. (Napoleon Bonaparte's Josephine, from the Caribbean. ). This person may have compelling foreign interests (business interests or relationships if Budha in 12) or alternatively may live primarily in the world of one's imagination. (Albert

Nixon Sen. /V.P. Al Gore, Jr. Baba Ram Dass actor Richard Burton Albert Einstein(cosmologist) singer Mariah Carey cult prophetElizabeth Clare Prophet Coretta Scott King revolutionaryLeon Trotsky

Einstein's Mileva Maric, from Serbia) In Einstein's case, the L-12 is extraordinarily well placed, as uchcha Shukra in domain-10 - the peak of exaltation - and in addition this uchcha brilliant L-12 Shukra causes the final neechcha bhanga of Budha. The spouse is possessed of a truly brilliant imagination, a catalyst for great artistic insight regarding spatial design. Together, the couple developed a tremendous view through the scientific imagination. There is no doubt from a Jyotisha viewpoint that Maric was Einstein's essential collaborator in developing the genius insights for which Einstein later received all the credit. Unfortunately the marriage was destroyed by his neechcha (not bhanga) Chandra in 6. The partner is not firmly established in his/her own physical identity, and may be uncertain about her/his proper social role. The spouse may spend much time away on extended travels, or hail from a distant land.. The spouse remains enclosed in one's own private imagination. If L-12 is blessed The spouse may be a dedicated meditator or deeply reflective practitioner of religious prayer. The spouse is an important part of one's experience of retreat, withdrawal, foreign identity & loss of identity. Vyaya bhava is the house of the presentlife dream-state. Domain-12 also describes the conditions obtaining in one's immediate (or most influential) past life. The first meeting with the spouse is likely to occur in a hazy, unclear, or dreamlike situation. One may not "take it seriously" or may feel that the conditions are too obscure or foreign to make much rational sense. Perhaps the spouse is first seen in a dream, in a therapeutic memory regression, or encountered during a sojourn in a foreign land.

Recovery of Past-life Information The spouse is an agent of past-life recovery. If domain-12 is mentalized (in a rashi of Budha, or occupied by Budha) there is amazing potential for gainingextraordinary intuitive perceptions through recovery of one's past life memories. However, in order to recover the *past* life information, one will normally need to reduce identification with the *present* life. This creates dissolution of the current life social identity. Physical Effects of the Astral Demand Those who are called to have present-life knowledge of their own past lives are generally quite grateful for the information. However it does come at the price of loss of social & personal vitality. One of the effects of the first marriage, when the nativity features a strong and intuitive Chandra in domain-6, is that the astral level of the relationship with the spouse demands so much of the native's attention that The dissolution of identity has physical effects too. The native's own bodily vitality tends toward a state of being exhausted, distracted, or worried as a result of constantly interacting with this spouse. This marriage provides useful results for therapists, meditators, researchers, and those who plumb the imagination for creative inspiration. Not so good results for a normal person trying to achieve social validation through physical appearance and conventional behaviors. Psychic empowerment up, physical appearance down If domain-12 contains an uccha/swakshetra graha or is otherwise a well-supported house, the native's astral awareness will increase regarding dreams, the after-death & pre-death state, overall psychic intelligence & meditation skills. Under these circumstances, even a

materially difficult marriage may remain interesting and subtly beneficial for quite some time. However, the native's physical appearance & social positioning will deteriorate due to thepsychic demands of the spouse. Animosity, Paranoia and even Crime If domain-12 contains severely malefic graha, the marriage can produce a living nightmare of intense suspiciousness moving toward paranoia. The spouse may be unable to sustain trust in the marriage, resulting in deep animosity, extramarital affairs, and even criminal activity. Therapeutic intervention fails, or even makes the situation worse. One may have horrible dreams of the spouse, which repeat the endless and torturing conflict between the two partners. Under these circumstances, it may be healthier to "surrender" to the adversary and dissolve the marriage. Chronic inability to achieve agreement If vyaya bhava is a weak house in general, the extreme astral highs and physical lows either might not be as noticeable. The spouse is an energy-drainer in some general way, and there is a perpetual climate of mismatched expectations andmutual suspicion. Yet one notices neither the "living nightmare" of severe malefics in 12 nor the psychic illumination of uccha or swakshetra graha in 12. Under these circumstances, it may be possible to plod along for a long time. There will be frequent separations, usually circumstantial and not caused by arguments. Frequent separations are actually necessary to sustain the marriage. All intimate partnerships during the course of this lifetime are drawing intensely on past-life memories. Significant life-force effort is required to bring these committed unions into present time. Even if the character of vyaya bhava is auspicious overall, the native may find one's vital life force (1) being dissolved or drained out

(12) by the effort to bring into reality. Second Spouse Due to difficulties, if the 7th-fromChandra = a dusthamsha, a 2nd marriage may be required. Second spouse, indicated through domain7, has balancing, arranging, & harmonizing qualities. The second spouse is an arbitrator and negotiator of contracts & alliances. The second spouse enjoys sexual communication. Second spouse may seemindecisive due to frequent change of position. Depending on L-7 & conditions in domain-7, the second spouse may be an attorney, counselor, or advisor, or other advocate who makes deals or creates judicious arguments orproposals. Second spouse = ever-shifting toward a more perfect rebalance. The second spouse is an important part of one's experience of crafting & managingagreements. Third Spouse The third spouse, indicated through domain-2, has strong qualities ofacquisitiveness & fondness for historical values. The spouse participates in the lineage values & historical traditions of the family of origin. In other words, the spouse's values are so "familiar" that one feels quite at home. (Depends on conditions of domain-2 whether "feeling familiar" is a pleasant experience, or not.) The third spouse develops hoarded wealth (according to Chandra's rashi & co-tenants) & seeks to enjoy pleasures of food, song, beauty, & language. The third spouse is an important part of one's experience of accumulating values & transmitting an ancient lineage of collected knowledge.

7th-from-Soma (spouse-1) or 2nd-from-Soma (spouse-2) or 9th-from-Soma (spouse-3) =

Spouse hails from a foreign land or was raised in a social culture quite different from the native's own. The cultural difference may be religious, national, psycho-emotional, or ethical The native will always have some difficulty to understand & develop one'smaterial connection to the spouse, since the spouse's identity is foreign in nature. Spouse may be identified with retreats, withdrawal to sanctuary, vacations, travel to and business with foreign lands, and "unidentified" private affairs of all kinds. The private undertakings of the spouse are frequently not known or comprehended by the native. The nature of the "unidentified" or obscured shadowy private business of the spouse may be sexual, financial, political, religious, or other. The native's comfort from Moon in domain-11 is more communally oriented, so there can be some tension with perceived selfishness or fame-seeking of the spouse. The native tends to set goals in the context of marketplace conditions while the spouse's agenda may seem too personalized and ego-centric. Nevertheless there is harmony and abundance.

Second spouse identifies emotionally as a victim or is committed to professional service of victims. Spouse perceives him//herself as being exploited through providing a service. Second Spouse Due to difficulties with marriage-1, when 7th-from-Chandra = a dusthana, a second marriage may be required. Second spouse, if any, is indicated through domain-1. Second spouse has strong qualities of physical orientation & emotional independence. The second spouse develops bodily vitality (according to Chandra's rashi & co-tenants) & seeks to gain social attention. Often a professional in the flesh-body business such as fashion model, dancer, athlete, hunter. The second spouse may seem perpetually adolescent due to deep self-focus. The spouse is associated with deep social conflict. Yet if the ruling graha, tenants, and other house conditions are favorable, the tradition of engagement with social and physical imbalance in society, the breakdown of agreements and need for stabilizing control, will yield a top quality service professional. The native's own Chandra will be located in domain-12, which suggests that one's own psychology & authentic emotional nature is not fully known to the native. The life is emotionally driven by the search for buried emotions and reconnection with lost loved ones. One subconsciously attracts a spouse who manifests the vital conflicts of life. The spouse has permission to express illness, conflict & grievance, which may be unsettling to the native who has developed a rather thick shadow of obscurity around one's own feelings. This pair is often found in medical and criminal justice environments. Emotionally this setup can be difficult situation. Yet it can yield deep insight & mutual appreciation if the two spouses agree to therapeutic intervention in deep internal conflicts rather than externalization and blaming.

Partner Profile: Profile of the first marriage partner represents one's expectations for unfoldment of the marriage partner's qualities. Conditions of radix-7 and navamsha-7 indicate the native's fundamental expectations regardingoutcome of contractual relationships. For subsequent marriages: A number of spousal characteristics may change. Yet, the native's fundamental attitude toward marriage & interpersonal agreements -- expressed in the 7thfrom angles will persist. Qualities of the first spouse and native's fundamental expectations regarding outcome of contractual relationship: 1. 7th-from-Chandra 2. Navamsha lagna and navamsha domain7: Read D-9 like a regular chart to gain a
composite view of the partner, but more importantly observe the role of the lords of 1st & 7th navamsha as those graha behave in Radix.

Typically, spouse = 7th-navamsha; you = 1st navamsha. (But this can be reversed in about 20% of cases.) 3. Lord of 7th radix. Should be in an auspicious angle to house-7, and welldisposed. 4. Find the navamsha of radix L-7. Now find the graha which rules that navamsha. Read this graha VERY closely, in all vargas. It will tell you a great deal about the mirror your spouse(s) provide for you. 5. yuvati bhava (7th house of the radix chart) and L-7; & drishti to house-7

6. Shukra (karaka for beloved) 7. Guru (karaka for blessings) 8. Sometimes Shani (karaka for necessity) Profile: Second spouse is described by 1. 2nd-from-Chandra -- house Lord, occupying planets, aspects to 2nd-fromMoon 2. Your radix domain-2 -- house Lord, occupying planets, drishti to dhana bhava 3. 2nd [or 8th] house within the navamsha (D-9) Consider radix L-2's role in navamsha,

4. Most important: graha which is the lord of radix-L-2's navamsha sign Profile: Third spouse is described by: 1. 9th-from-Moon -- house Lord, occupying planets, aspects to 9th-from-Moon 2. Your radix 9th house -- house Lord, occupying planets, aspects to dharma bhava 3. navamsha (D-9) 9th [or 3rd] - consider the

Profile: Fourth spouse is described by: 1. 4th-from-Moon -- house Lord, occupying planets, aspects to 4th-from-Moon 2. Your radix 4th house -- house Lord, occupying planets, aspects to bandhu bhava

3. navamsha (D-9) 4th [or 10th] -- consider the house Lord, occupying planets, aspects to navamsha 4th/10th. Read D-9 like a regular chart to gain a composite view of the partner. 4. Most important: planet which is the lord of
radix-L-4's navamsha sign

Profile: Additional marriages 1. additional spouses are seen in the *8thfrom-most-recent-spouse* The 8th-from any house signifies the "destruction/transformation" of matters in the original house. 2. Just as 4TH MARRIAGE (above) is seen in the 8th-from-3rd marriage = dharma bhava - counting 8 from 9th we reach the 4th house, significator of 4th marriage 3. So, 5TH MARRIAGE is seen in the 8th-from4th - which is the house-11 4. [Most important: planet which is the lord of radix-L-11's navamsha sign] 5. Continuing the pattern, 6TH MARRIAGE would be seen in 8th-from11th which is house-6 6. [Most important: planet which is the lord of radix-L-6's navamsha sign] 7. More than 6 marriages? Yes, it happens. Always count 8-from-previous-marriage. Profile: In-Laws:
In-laws, or spouse's family as a group, are found in the 2nd-from the spouse-house.

First marriage in-laws = 2nd-from-7th-from Chandra = 8th-from-Chandra Second-marriage in-laws 2nd-from-2nd-from Chandra = 3rd-from-Chandra Third-marriage in-laws 2nd-from-9th-from Chandra = 10th-from-Chandra

etc.

If in-laws are going to be a problem, you can see the issues in your own radix 8th-house. Consider eliminating in-law conflicts by altering your matching energy. Use consciousness to burn off resistance karma. They really aren't the problem - but they certainly are mirroring the problem, accurately & effectively! See also 8th navamsha, for more deeply embedded psychic truth about the spouse's attachments to his/her family patterns and how those attachments affect your marriage. Very effective method: check out the planet which is the lord of the navamsha sign occupied by radix-L-8. This planet will tell you the point of matching energy. It might be good, netural communication and it might be arguing, perpetual disagreement. Depends on the character of the lord of the navamsha sign occupied by radix-L8. In-laws for the second marriage, house-3, another troublesome house - but sahaja bhava is an upachaya house - it gets better with age and experience. Again, use the same method to pinpoint the link to them within your own aura: check outthe planet which is the lord of the navamsha sign occupied by radix-L-3. This planet will tell you the point of matching energy. By the time you've undertaken a third marriage, you're pretty much immune to in-laws anyway - and this fact is represented by third marriage in-laws occurring in the dignified, auspicious 10th house!

L-7 in Lagna vs. Lagnesha in domain-7:

Seventh lord in lagna = Marriage partnership controls the personality.

Social personality conforms to partnership requirements and the needs of the spouse. Native is socially identified with one's marriage and business partners. Nature of conformance judged by characteristics of L-7. E.g., if L-7 = Budha, native mainly talks about their marriage commitments (follow-through would depend on other graha in lagna). L-7 in a rashi of Shani = conservative traditional spouse and marriage practices. L-7 in a rashi of Guru = liberal & expansive character of the spouse, and native conforms to/expands with that character. L-7 = Shukra, tendency toward sensualism. In Kanya, troubled women partners define the identity. Etc.

Lagnesha in domain-7 = Personality controls the contractual relationships.

One sees the partnership as an extension of the vital self. Native is a born negotiator, contract-maker, and crafter of agreements. Finding balance of mutual interest is the core component of one's personal self-image. Because the partner is an extension of the Self, what is good for the native must be good for the partner. One imposes one's own social profile onto marriage & partnership operations. May not conform to the conventional model of marriage practices, but will normalize one's own eccentric views by asserting that the spouse shares fully in the partnership process. Spouse is likely to go along with one's own stronger personality, esp. if the graha is favorable. Nature of personalized expression of agreement-crafting is to be judged by characteristics of L-1. Some examples:
o

If L-1 = Shukra, native expresses a feminized taste, full of sweetness & sensual indulgence. If in Mesha, celebration of friendly competition & sexuality as the ultimate in-body experience. If L-1 = Guru, liberal and permissive. If in Kanya, prefers demure & youthful spouses.

If L-1 = Surya, what's mine is mine and what's yours is mine too. (Only possible for Simha lagna, usually unfavorable.) If L-1 = Shani, the native is a traditionalist in marriage and the spouse will be chosen for their ability to reflect a conventional, law-abiding social profile.

Marriage, Cohabitation, Conjugal Life

The seventh rashi , or yuvati bhava, is a very influential house. Generallyyuvati bhava is the second most powerful house in the chart, after the lagna or Chandra lagna. Yuvati bhava displays the blueprint for marriage, the character of the first spouse, the condition of the internal genitals, and the quality of sexual communication in this life. Yuvati bhava especially signifies the first marriage, but its blueprint continues to affect subsequent marriages. Yuvati signifies the energy and function of the internal genitals, and this energy influences all but the most rarified marriages. Sexual tastes develop slightly but in essence they do not change. What changes is our understanding of human sexuality and our skill in managing it. Also the psychological profile of yuvati bhava will continue to apply in a sort of translucent way, to all subsequent spouses. This is the very basic dynamic of relating - how much time alone, time for sexual relaxation, basic body requirements - which don't change because the vibe generated by tanu bhava (native's physical body) remains pretty steady throughout life. Yuvati profiles expression of all natural bodily urges, especially the sexual instincts. As the house of the object of desire, the possessed, and the projected-upon, yuvati profiles gross materiality of all kinds. Not all adults have sexual partners; yet, all adults have a punya bhava. Everyone has one significant partnership, even if that partnership is with a deity or an idea. Yuvati rules the opposite polarity to the self - whatever that opposite pole is. The opposite pole can arrive in many different packages. To truly understand sexuality, it is necessarily to understand energy polarity. Yuvati or the marriage house governs all energy exchanges - energy coming in, energy going out - between spiritual beings and their psychic projections.

Legal Partnerships, Contracts, deals, Brokerage

First and most important signification of kalatra bhava is contractual unions of all kinds, especially the first marriage but also business partnerships --which except for the sexual element, function identically to marriage. All equal-to-equal, peer partnerships should be considered from the 7th house and its attributes. Professional consulting relationships, business partners, performing arts partners, and most partners in a therapeutic or advising relationship are seen through yuvati bhava. Deals and deal-making, brokerage, trading, all forms of equal exchange on the balance scale, are in yuvati. Negative effects on the seventh house can result in legal bondage originating in unfavorable binding contracts. (Such as lease, child custody, etc.) Legal and medical advising, at least in situations where the client or patient takes adult responsibility for making their own choices using information provided by the advisor rather than having the advisor dictate their decisions. Exceptions are non-peer therapeutic or advising relationships which are more accurately understood as replacements for parenting, or are primarily vehicles for teaching. Often this occurs with medical advising in particular. If bandhu bhava is dramatically stronger than yuvati or if L7 occupies bandhu, or Moon in yuvati, etc. then yuvati's egalitarian qualities diminish, and partnerships become more settings for mothering. Similar effects for dharma will bring partnerships more into a fathering or guru space. A super-powerful L9 in yuvati might see the native marrying their guru.

Attributes of the First Spouse, judged from lagna of house-7

Kalatra bhava represents the first spouse. From the seventh house we learn the character, appearance, and holdings of the first spouse. (to get attributes of a second spouse, use house-2 as lagna) because house-7 is 4th-from-4th, there

Malefic influences in domain-8 will reduce accumulations of joint marital wealth and make relations with in-

laws rather difficult. Benefic graha provide luxury through wealth of the spouse (Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis). Uchcha Budha may provide a well-spoken and reasonable spouse. Uchcha Guru is a very generous spouse; even divorce settlement is abundant. In general good planets in domain-8 allow one to profit from other people's money. Naturally, a secure and grounded spouse is a major influence upon one's own ability to serve in demanding, heavy-workload, public service leadership positions that are signified by one's own karma sthana. It may or may not be amusing to realize that spouse's mother occupies the same house as your boss at work. Yes, spouse's mother is subconsciously in the role of moral authority i.e., the right way to do things. Karma bhava shows status accruing to the first marriage through the landed property of the spouse and thenegotiation of authority between you & your mother-in-law within in the marital home. Law Courts
Domain-7, the house of contracts and negotiations, includes thelaw courts and litigation which results in an agreement.(Problematic, chronically unresolved, or spurious, or mal-intended litigation is represented by Ripu Bhava, the house of conflict, domain-6). Attorneys and advocates must have a prominent 7th-house and radix-L-7 to be successful in legal practice. The ideal charts for success in legal reasoning feature Budha/7, in any nearly any rashi. Ideal rashi = Mithuna (for the communicative capability and writing skills), Kanya (for categorical thought and detailed argumentation), Dhanau (for optimism and philosophy of law), Thula (for balanced agreements and diplomacy), and Makara (for sober realism in the legal system). Positive dasha and transit planets indicate success in court.

Contract-making Domain-7 Vs. Philosophy-Making Domain-9

In contrast to the practical legal skills necessary to prosper in domain-7, professorial skills in teaching the philosophy of law, philosophical understanding of the moral imperative underlying judgeship, conceptual (not pragmatic) levels of legal education, and other contemplative, social-philosophical aspects of understanding the law appear in dharma bhava, the 9th house of moral and political philosophy.

One with strength in domain-9 understands the movement of social policy into social law, and one is also (ideally) empowered to effect justice through the priesthood of moral leadership.

Day-to-day workings of the court = punya bhava.

Attorney [advocate] profession, legal and paralegal, legal secretary, making of contracts and agreements, partnership, mediation, arbitration, litigation, fair resolution of disputes, adversarial undertakings, are all part of the seventh house. In keeping with the adversarial potential of relationship management, punya bhava also rules Equal Adversaries inWar.

Timing of Death
The second and seventh radix houses are "maraka" houses. Their planetary lords time the departure of spirit out of the container of the fleshly body. The periods of L2 and L7 from lagna or Moon can show timingof death for the native. Similarly, 2nd-from-7th can show death of first spouse (or end of first marriage/divorce) 2nd-from-4thor 7thfrom-4th can time death of mother, etc.

See timing of death in chart of Jackie Kennedy Onassis died of lymphoma for a good example of death in the bhukti of the 7th lord Mars.

However conditions of death - place, cause, environment etc. - are of the 8th house, thus condition of death for first spouse = dhana bhava, whilst conditions of death for spouse-2 = dharma sthana, etc.

Mars/Rahu period is extremely dangerous if Rahu occupies yuvati bhava: "Danger from snakes, wounds, destruction of cattle, danger from animals, diseases, due to imbalance of bile and wind, imprisonment etc. will be the results, if Rahu is in Randhra, or Vyaya, or receives a Drishti from, or is associated with malefics. There will be loss of wealth, if Rahu is in Dhana and great danger of premature death, if he is in Yuvati. The remedial measure to be adopted to obtain relief from the above evil effects are Naga Puja, offering food to Brahmins and Mrityunjaya Japa. They will help in the prolongation of longevity." ~~ BPHS 11-14.

Mother's fixed property, maternal grandmother

4th-from any house shows the property owned by matters of that house, as well as mother-of matters in that house. As 4th-from-4th, yuvati bhava indicates landed or otherwise immovable property belonging to the mother, as well as mother's mother, or the maternal grandmother. See also 4th-from-Moon to confirm. By extension, 4th-from-4th-from-4th or karma bhava shows the maternal grandmother's landed estate. See also 10th-from-Moon to confirm.

Career
As 10th-from-10th, yuvati bhava is one of the three primary angles which define the career and "favor from government". To profile the native's career, consider :
1. 2. 3. 4. condition of karma bhava itself, role of L-10 in D-10 and D-9, any graha in 10th-from-Moon. Then, confirm conditions in 10th-from-10th, yuvati bhava.

This process should yield a fairly complete picture of career.

Second Child
3rd-from-5th, punya sthana -- generally counted from Chandra lagna -- represents the second child. Bhukti of L-7 from lagna or L7-from-Moon, or 7th-from-Guru, can bring a second child into your life if other circumstances are aligned.

Erosion of longevity
As 12th-from-8th, yuvati bhava contains the mandate for deterioration or dissolution of longevity. It is well known that nothing gives a person wrinkles faster than marriage. Naturally, the process of sharing one's vital energies with the spouse can lead to erosion, even hemorrhage, of one's own vital energies. Malefics in yuvati bhava not only generate a psychic drain from relationship with the spouse; naturally, these malefics also exhaust the native. Owing to their status as 12th-from-8th, the seventh house and its lord are called Maraka, or "death causing". Timing of death is seen from period of rashi L7 or L2. In my experience L2 is generally more potent in death charts overall, but L7 figures more prominently in surprise deaths.

Moving house
As 4th-from-4th, yuvati can signal acquisition of residence. Check also 4th-from-Moon, and transits to bandhu bhava and yuvati bhava.

Saturn drishti to kalatra bhava:

N.B.: I find that, ceteris paribus, Shani's negative aspect to the marriage house, which occur when Shani occupies houses 1, 5, & 10, does not break up marriages. It makes them loveless, unhelpful, and full of grief. But doesn't cause divorce per se. It gives stamina. Shani occupying house-7 gives tremendous endurance, despite the reality of an often loveless marriage to a lower, unsuitable or oppressive spouse. Shani respects rules & tradition above all. L-8 and L-6 in yuvat bhava make marriage miserable. L-8 in java sthana will eventallu cause divorce (during bhukti of L-8 or L-2). Unless Shani is L-8 (as for Mithuna & Karka lagna) Shani is not a divorce causer. Just a misery causer...

Actually, we Buddhists are supposed to save all sentient beings, but practically speaking, this may be too broad a notion for most people. In any case, we must at least think in terms of helping all human beings. This is very important. Even if we cannot think in terms of sentient beings inhabiting different worlds, we should nonetheless think in terms of the human beings on our own planet. To do this is to take a practical approach to the problem. It is necessary to help others, not only in our prayers, but in our daily lives. If we find we cannot help another, the least we can do is to desist from harming them. We must not cheat

others or lie to them. We must be honest human beings, sincere human beings. On a very practical level, such attitudes are things which we need. Whether one is a believer, a religious person, or not, is another matter. Simply as an inhabitant of the world, as a member of the human family, we need this kind of attitude. It is through such an attitude that real and lasting world peace and harmony can be achieved. Through harmony, friendship, and respecting one another, we can solve many problems in the right way, without difficulties.

The best relationship is one in which your love for each other exceeds your need for each other.

[Tula]...Literally means scale. It refers to the seventh sign of the zodiac also known as Libra. Thula also means one's position or stance, which is similar to one's weight on a scale. The word 'thula' is used throughout Indian languages to mean one's position. For example, in the west if someone is known as a "heavyweight", or "a major player", such references are in regard to one's 'thula', position or stance in relation to others. This process of judgment can be likened to the balance of a scale. --- Das Goravani Writings

...The abbreviation for pound, "lb.," comes from the Latin "librum" or the scales, meaning balance...
