Industry professionals are invited to submit abstracts for papers to present at the 2015 AMCA International Engineering Conference.

Topics related to air movement and control for commercial facilities, industrial facilities, or industrial processes will be considered. Generally, topics can include application guidance, codes and standards, commissioning, performance monitoring and equipment lifecycle issues. Past paper topics have included Fan design for extreme environmental conditions Matching fan test methods with expectations Peculiar motor bearing vibration problems Intellectual property rights in the air movement industry

The 2015 AMCA International Engineering Conference will take place in San Antonio on March 2-4, 2015. The target audience for this conference includes consulting engineers, manufacturer equipment and applications engineers, research scientists and technicians, field professionals, and engineering students. The conference aims not only to educate but also to provide networking opportunities for attendees.

If your paper is chosen, your registration at the 2015 Engineering Conference will be free. AMCA will actively advocate for the publication of high-quality papers as magazine articles in trade journals such as AMCA inmotion (AMCA members only), HPAC Engineering, ASHRAE Journal, Consulting-Specifying Engineer, Engineered Systems, Plant Engineering, BOM Magazine and others as applicable. These papers will also be published on AMCAs website and made available to AMCAs member companies, if the author desires.

Please submit a 150-word maximum abstract for review by the AMCA Engineering Standards Committee. The deadline for submitting an abstract is May 20, 2014. If your abstract is chosen, the deadline for submitting your final paper and accompanying visual presentation is January 1, 2015. A style guide for papers and presentations will be provided. Presentations are scheduled in 50

minute sessions. Where permitted by the author, PowerPoint slides in PDF format will be posted with the papers on the AMCA website.
