The Document listed in paragraph 1 of the appendix has been examined in relation to the applicable standards and requirements as per:

IACS Common Structural Rules for Double Hull Oil Tankers, April 2006, Section 5, Subs. 5 as amended by Corrigenda 2 Rules Editorials and Clarifications July 2006 and Rule Change Notice No.1. SOLAS Ch. II-1, Pt. A-1 Reg. 3-6, adopted by resolution MSC.133(76).
And has been assigned an appraisal status as indicated subject to the following: 1.1. Access arrangements are also subject to final survey on board and are to be to the satisfaction of attending surveyor. 1.2. Vertical access openings in double bottom girders & floors are to be 600 x 800 mm. According to the plan 1D26-001 (rev C) Structure of Fore Region examined on 26, Sep. 2013, it is suggested to be revised the size proposed for the opening in way of Girder L2 at 1220 mm off CL, between Frs. 94-95 and also the opening on Floor Fr. 96 between 1990-2790 mm off C.L. Double bottom access final arrangements should be agreed with LR attending surveyors. 1.3. Ship Structure Access Manual" approved by the Administration is to be kept on board with a description of means of access to carry overall and close-up inspections and thickness measurements. AQS
