A GUIDE TO CREATIVE COMMONS

Introduce the idea of rights

To first understand what creative commons is, we need to understand copyright, fair use and the rights a content creator has first. Along with this, we also need to know the permission and rights content users have.
So, fair use is ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit. Quisque tempor nunc metus, eu consequat odio gravida in. In commodo, venenatis nibh mauris blandit ante. Aliquam quis hendrerit ligula. Pellentesque non cursus nibh. Aliquam cursus viverra urna, quis lobortis ipsum viverra et. Sed ac augue enim. Sed eget rutrum augue. Basically, the content creator has the rights to massa eros, aliquam ac pulvinar a, volutpat et felis.

HOW DOES CREATIVE COMMONS RELATE TO THIS?

Introduce creative commons as free licenses which we can benefit ourselves Talk about what creative commons is - an organization which facilitates and allows the sharing of content
Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit. Quisque tempor nunc metus, eu consequat odio gravida in. Aliquam quis hendrerit ligula. Pellentesque non cursus nibh. Aliquam cursus viverra urna, quis lobortis ipsum viverra et. Sed ac augue

HOW CAN WE USE CREATIVE COMMONS IN OUR OWN LIVES, AND WHY SHOULD WE?
Introduce the use of licenses on our own work, why, and resources to help us do so. Distinguish license elements vs. licenses
! Since creative commons offers their licenses to be used to anyone, we can license our own work too. We do this so that others use our work in the way that we agree for them to, and so that they dont take advantage of our work or cause problems. By licensing our work, we state how we would like it to be used, and people abide those rules. We can license our work in 4 different ways - these are the 4 license elements:

What each of the license elements mean:

Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit. Quisque tempor nunc metus, eu consequat odio gravida in. Aliquam quis hendrerit ligula. Pellentesque non cursus nibh. Aliquam cursus viverra urna, quis lobortis ipsum viverra et. Sed ac augue enim. Placing your work under any one of these licenses will enforce their rule.

But sohow do we actually place our work under these licenseshow do we actually literally license our work?
We place our work under licenses by uploading them onto a website which allows you to directly license your work there, or mark your work your own way. Either of these ways basically license your work because they kind of stamp your work with a license - a certain combination of the license elements, and therefore enforce the collection of the license elements indicated. There are 6 combinations or licenses in total. Heres an example: As you guessed, this license means that the work is volutpat et felis.

HOW DO OTHERS USE CREATIVE COMMONS, AND WHY DOES THAT MATTER?
Explain the use of licenses on others work, why, and resources to help us find others content, licensed under creative commons licenses. Others also license their work the same way as we do. It matters to them because they are telling us how they would like us to use their work, and we have to follow what they say to be fair. It makes sure that we properly use their work, same like how they will properly use ours.

Luckily to help us out, there are tons of search websites online which only bring up content licensed under proper creative commons licenses. This makes it really easy for us to find content we want, which is still licensed in ways we are truly allowed to use it.

SO NOW WHAT?
!
Conclude all information State directly what they can do next: start posting their content on sites that allow you to license your work, this makes it easy, dont worry to much about marking their work yet use the creative commons search engines to use legal content but find it easily
