The purpose of the present study was to compare the selected Physiological variables between Basketball and Volleyball Male Players of S.G.B.A.U. Amravati University, for the purpose of the study 60 male university/college level players (30 Basketball Players and 30 Volleyball Players) were randomly selected, as the subjects for the present study. The subject's age ranged from 18 to 25 years. The variables for study were-Blood Pressure(Systolic Blood Pressure and Diastolic Blood Pressure), Vital Capacity, Resting Heart Rate, Breath Holding Capacity (Positive Breath Holding Capacity and Negative Breath Holding Capacity), and Body Fat Percentage. To Comparison of selected physiological variables Basketball and Volleyball male players mean difference method (t ratio) 't' test was used. The level of significance was set at 0.05 levels. Results showed significant difference in Fat percentage and insignificant differences were found in Systolic Blood Pressure, Diastolic Blood Pressure, vital capacity, Resting Heart Rate, Positive Breath Holding Capacity, Negative Breath Holding Capacity, and Negative Breath hold capacity. Key words- Vital Capacity, Resting Heart Rate, Breath Holding Capacity, Breath Holding Capacity, and Body Fat Percentage

Introduction The history of human being witness to the fact that as man was busy in this day to day routine work in absence of modern means of life. They do have the problems faced by the today's man. The development in the field of technology has provided numerous comforts to the modern men compared to their ancient one. Sports are not exception to it. Science applied to sports has enabled modern youth to develop physical capacities beyond anything earlier imagined. One of the important, remarkable, beautiful, valuable and priceless thing that god has created particularly on the earth is human life. Therefore it is necessary to protect and maintain human life in order to achieve higher goals and objectives and also live a happy and meaningful life. To develop health and fitness and to lengthen life, the scientists and researches have devoted their lives to invention of medicine that protect life from various diseases and health related equipments that measure that physical, physiological and psychological parameters of individual will to discover new things in these fields are highly remarkable and admirable in the history of men and civilization. Objective of the study The purpose of study was to Comparison of selected physiological variables between Basketball and Volleyball male players. Material and Method Sixty (60) male students were studying in S.G.B.A.U. Amravati University, were selected as subjects for the present study. From the sixty subjects thirty subjects were college /

university level Basketball players, and remaining thirty subjects were college / university level Volleyball players. Variables Following Physiological variable were selected a) Blood Pressure - Systolic Blood Pressure - Diastolic Blood Pressure b)Vital Capacity c) Resting Heart Rate. d)Breath Holding Capacity. - Positive Breath Holding Capacity. - Negative Breath Holding Capacity. e) Body Fat Percentage. Statistical Analysis To Comparison of selected physiological variables between Basketball and Volleyball male players mean difference method 't' test was used. The level of significance was set at 0.05 levels. Results and Discussion
