I hope you all have started doing Gap Analysis for the respective villages and based on the Gap they will decide designs for Physical, Social, Socio-Cultural and other facilities as given in design sheet. As it is already mentioned that it is compulsory to design at least other) for each villages by students.

I have observed and also discuss that all the groups are putting same design for all the villages in the particular district as I seen in last phase. For example, All the student in XYZ district for all the villages given rain water harvesting and solar lights.( Didnt they find waste management models, dry toilets, public latrine blocks with bio gas plants, root zone treatment, pond beautification or other?) Somehow its mistake by us only. We dont want this happen again. As we need to overall development of the village because this is implementation phase unlike pilot project. So it is requested to all of you to take care for this phase for overall development of the village. For the same it is mandatory to follow the guideline as mention in table so that we can achieve the goal. By doing so we can give different design options to village local authority as the characteristic of the villages in respective district will be same. Design proposed by one group can be followed by other group and vice versa. Table 1 present wrong practice which our students are following and Table 2 present effective practice which students need to follow it compulsory and Kindly Mail me Gap Analysis and design selected for all the villages in respective district by 20th February so according to that technical workshop will be arranged.
