1. Commencement of employment and continuous employment Your employment as an Apprentice began on [INSERT DATE] Any previous employment with [INSERT EMPLOYERS NAME] or with a previous Employer does not count as a period of continuous employment. You will be subject to a probationary period of 3 months starting from your date of employment, during which time your performance will be monitored. Your probationary period may be extended if you have not met the required standards within 3 months. You will be considered to still be on probation until such time as it is confirmed that you have met the required standards. Within the probationary period, the disciplinary procedures do not apply and either party is required to provide 1 weeks notice to terminate your employment. Your employment as an Apprentice is anticipated to finish at the end of your apprenticeship on [INSERT DATE]. However, this shall be reviewed on a monthly basis and any changes to the length of the contract shall be notified to you in writing, giving you statutory notice if the contract is to be terminated earlier than the anticipated end date.

*EMPLOYERS NAME+ cannot guarantee to extend or renew your Contract of Employment for Apprenticeship if you do not complete your Apprenticeship within the anticipated time scale. *EMPLOYERS NAME+ cannot guarantee that there will be a vacancy for a qualified Administrator at the end of your period of Apprenticeship and therefore cannot guarantee to vary your Contract of Employment to that of a qualified [INSERT JOB TITLE] or to continue to employ you on completion of your Apprenticeship.

2. Job description Your key duties are set out in the attached job description. *EMPLOYERS NAME+ may reasonably vary the duties that you are required to perform in accordance with the business need.

3. Job location(s) Your main work base is [INSERT ADDRESS OF WORK PLACE] You may be required on occasion to work at other locations; this will be agreed in advance and any such requirements will usually be a reasonable distance from either your home address or normal place of work. Where such a requirement is made, remuneration will be made for any additional expenses incurred. *EMPLOYERS NAME+ reserves the right to relocate the business to alternative premises on either a temporary or permanent basis, subject to business requirements. Any such changes will be notified to you in writing. You may be required to attend a college as agreed and specified as part of your apprenticeship.

4. Pay & Expenses Pay You are paid a salary based on the average number of hours to be worked each month. Payment is made directly into your bank account on the 28th of the month. You are paid *RATE+ per hour for *INSERT NUMBER OF HOURS+, earning *INSERT AMOUNT+ per month. 5. Hours of work Your hours of work and work pattern will be agreed in advance with your line Manager. You may be required to work on any day between Sunday and Saturday, taking into account the requirement for breaks and time off under the Working Time Regulations. This is in addition to the hours you are required to attend college.

It is anticipated that the work can be completed within normal daytime hours; no night working is required for this position. You are entitled to a 30 minute unpaid break each day, which can be taken at a time that is mutually agreeable between you and your Line Manager. With regard to the Working Time Regulations, you are not required to work more than an average of 48 hours per week. You are expected to comply with the Companys rules, policies and procedures regarding working hours and practices, overtime and the Working Time Regulations.

6. Holidays You are entitled to 5.6 weeks paid holiday per year, this includes all Bank and Public Holidays recognised in England. This is calculated as 12.07% of the hours you have worked and is accrued for each hour as it is worked. The Companys holiday year runs from 1st January 31st December. *CHANGE IF NEEDED+ Other than in exceptional circumstances and with the express agreement of *EMPLOYERS NAME+, holiday entitlement must normally be taken in the calendar year in which it is accrued. You are required to book holiday at least 4 weeks in advance by completion of a holiday booking request form and before making any holiday arrangements. You are required to take your holiday during periods when your training provider or educational establishment are closed for holidays so that your Apprenticeship is not affected. The Company reserves the right to nominate days when you are required to take your holiday, with written notice which be at least twice as long as the duration of holiday you are required to take. If you leave part way through the holiday year and you have accrued holiday but not taken it, you are entitled to be paid for the outstanding balance. However, if you have taken more holiday than you have accrued at the time of leaving, *EMPLOYERS NAME+ reserves the right to make appropriate deductions from your final pay. *EMPLOYERS NAME+ reserves the right to request Employees to take any unused holiday during the period of notice on termination of employment, or instead to offer payment in lieu for any holiday accrued but not taken.

7. Absence and Sickness If you cannot work for any reason, you must inform your Line Manager as early as possible and by no later than [TIME] on the first day and each subsequent day when you are unable to work. If you cannot attend college for any reason you must comply with the college notification procedures. In the case of sickness absence, self-certification is allowed for a maximum of 7 days including weekends and Public Holidays, after which a Doctors Statement of Fitness To Work (Fit Note) must be provided as well. After every period of sickness absence, you must complete a self-certificate and submit it to your Line Manager; failure to do so may result in the absence being considered unauthorised and therefore unpaid, and may ultimately result in disciplinary action. This self-certificate must be accompanied by a Doctors Statement of Fitness To Work (Fit Note) if the absence has lasted for more than 7 days. *EMPLOYERS NAME+ reserves the right to request a Doctors Statement of Fitness To Work (Fit Note) for each and every period of sickness absence where there are concerns regarding an Employees health, or where there are questions regarding the validity of sickness absence claims. In some instances, you may also be requested to undergo a medical examination. You are not entitled to contractual sick pay. You may be entitled to statutory sick pay subject to meeting the relevant requirements and statutory eligibility criteria.

8. Pension scheme There is no company pension scheme and therefore there is no contracting-out certificate in force for this employment, in England under the Pension Schemes Act 1993, or in Northern Ireland under the Pension Schemes (Northern Ireland) Act 1993.

9. Collective agreements with trade unions There are no collective agreements with trade unions or other employee groups affecting this employment.

10. Ending the employment This employment is subject to each partys right to terminate the agreement earlier than the anticipated end date of this contract and your apprenticeship, in accordance with the terms below. If you want to leave this employment you must give us one week's notice. You are entitled to the minimum statutory notice if *EMPLOYERS NAME+ wants to end this employment.

The statutory notice period is: No notice in the first month of employment 1 week if your period of continuous employment is longer than 1 month but shorter than 2 years Thereafter 1 week for each year of continuous employment up to a maximum of 12 weeks

Kirsty Grimes is entitled to dismiss an Employee at any time without notice if the Employee commits a serious breach of his / her obligations or conditions of employment or if he / she ceases to be entitled to work in the UK.

12. 15. Company Property You agree you shall promptly, whenever requested by the Company and, in any event, upon the termination of your employment, return to the Company, without you or anyone on your behalf keeping copies of reproducible items, all property belonging to the Company which may be in your

possession or under your control, including but not limited to, all customer records, mailing lists, lists of customers, documents, accounts and passwords. You agree you shall promptly, whenever requested by the Company and, in any event, upon the termination of your employment, return to the Company all property belonging to the Company which may be in your possession or under your control, including but not limited to bus passes, ID badges, security passes, keys, uniform, and any other company property. 16. Company and Industry Standards You must to adhere to the standards of conduct and performance required by [EMPLOYER] in your job, or stated in company rules, procedures and other company documents, or as required of you by the Company at any point during your employment.

You are also required to adhere to standards specified by the industry and regulatory authorities, statutory regulations, the college and any other such bodies that exist or come into being throughout the duration of your employment and that regulate the industry in which *EMPLOYERS NAME] operates and which regulate the Apprenticeship you are working under.

17. Conflict of Interests You must not act in any manner, either during your normal hours of work or otherwise, which is contrary to the interests of, or in competition with, the Company. If you are in the position where you need to make a business decision on behalf of the Company which may create a conflict of interests, you must advise your line Manager immediately, and in any event, before the decision is made. You should dedicate your full working time and attention to the best interests of your Employer, and therefore are prohibited to work for any other Employer during your employment with *EMPLOYERS NAME] without prior agreement. You are prohibited at any time from causing disruption to the business relationship between *EMPLOYERS NAME+ and any clients or suppliers You shall not, either during your employment or for a period of 12 months following the termination of your employment, directly or indirectly contact or solicit any customers of *EMPLOYERS NAME+ or any subsidiaries or affiliates with whom you have dealt during the 18 months prior to your termination, for the purpose of selling to those customers any products or services which are the same as or substantially similar to, or in competition with, the products or services sold by *EMPLOYERS NAME+ or any subsidiaries or affiliates at the time of your termination. For a period of 12 months after your employment is terminated, you are prohibited from approaching any of our Employees with an intent to encouraging them to leave our employment, and / or to being employed either directly or indirectly by or with you.

18. Confidentiality and Data Protection You are required to observe the utmost confidentiality in your work and must not disclose any information obtained in the course of your work, unless authorised to do so, to any person either during or at any time after your employment. All information, contained in any format, remains the property of *EMPLOYEES NAME+ and Employees are not entitled to retain this information on termination of employment, or use it for any purpose other than in performance of their duties. You agree that you will not during your employment (other than in the proper performance of your duties) or after termination: 1. disclose any confidential information to any person; 2. use, or permit the use of, any confidential information; 3. through any failure to exercise due care and diligence, cause or permit any unauthorised disclosure of confidential information. Confidential information includes but is not limited to information and secrets relating to marketing strategy, business plans, business contacts, supplier details, customer records and client lists, knowhow and specialised product techniques, details of forthcoming projects, business processes and methodology, financial information and staff records. *EMPLOYERS NAME+ will store and use your personal data for purposes appropriate to your employment and your apprenticeship; this includes sharing information with your training provider as necessary and required to monitor your performance for the duration of your Apprenticeship.

19. General Terms This Employment Contract for Apprenticeship is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute relating to this Contract shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English and Welsh Courts. This Contract contains the key Terms and Conditions of your Employment with *EMPLOYERS NAME+. These are correct at the date of issue. This Employment Contract and the Apprenticeship Agreement incorporated within it are entered into in connection with a Qualifying Apprenticeship Framework, details of which are outlined in the Apprenticeship Particulars. With regard to the companys future needs, or in order to comply with statutory regulations, *EMPLOYERS NAME+ reserve the right to amend these Terms and Conditions. Any such amendments will be made, wherever possible in consultation with Employees, and with regard to the applicable notice periods. This Contract supersedes any previous agreements entered into between *EMPLOYERS NAME+ as the Employer and you as the Employee. If *EMPLOYERS NAME+ has not at any point enforced or applied any of the terms or rights within this

Employment Contract it does not suggest new rights by custom and practice, nor does it mean that *EMPLOYERS NAME+ waives the rights to enforce the terms laid out in this Employment Contract at any time in the future.

20. Acceptance of terms I acknowledge receipt, have read and understood, and agree to abide by my Employment Contract and the documents it refers to.

I confirm that I am eligible to live and work in the UK. I have provided proof of this eligibility to *EMPLOYERS NAME+

I confirm that I have told the truth about my criminal record and that I have declared any arrests, charges, summons or convictions to *EMPLOYERS NAME+, except where I am not required to due to protection under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974.

All obligations of the Guardian, except any liability already incurred, will cease if and when the Apprentice confirms this Agreement after reaching the age of 18 years.
