Our newly developed printed Non-Woven-Glass is made of very fine and evenly distributed glass fibres. A high-quality print with very resistant colours is possible because of the smooth surface. The Non-WovenGlass is very smooth and good to handle because of the low binder content. We recommend for processing with the Non-Woven-Glass our non-sticky hardening epoxy and polyester resins. The finally look of the component is shown after hardening.

The properties of textile glass materials as reinforcing materials are determined by the fineness and sizing of the spinning thread. The sizing of the thread is a thin coating based on chrome or silane compounds. It is applied with an application roll while the pulling process. The mechanical basic features (e.g. tensile strength, tensile modulus of elasticity, elongation at break) are determined by the glass type, the application and the sizing of the thread. These include smoothness and sliding ability while processing with the textiles, the compatibility of the glass surfaces and the resin matrix and hereby the implementation of the mechanical basic features onto the composite material.

Silane Sizing: In this manufacturing process, the sizing is already applied while producing the yarn. Fabrics which are manufactured with these yarns do not need futher treatment and they are directly applicable in the fibre compound. Finish sizing: In this manufacturing process, the fabric is made from a textile glass fibre. After that the fabric gets an imersion bath to attach the finish sizing which is a special bonding agent. The finish consists of a bifunctional, chemical compound which is on the one hand a binding to the resin and on the other hand an optimization to the fibre. Finished fabrics have been treated with modified silane sizes. They feel slightly tacky, become quickly impregnated with resin, are very soft and smooth, and scarcely fray when cut.

In the Vacuum-Infusion-Process, the materials are laid dry into the mould and the vacuum bagging f ilm is applied bef ore the resin is introduced. The v acuum bagging film is heremetically sealed with a sealing tape. Once a complete vacuum is achiev ed, a f luid resin is literally sucked into the laminate v ia a second tubing. The reinforcement f ibres are thus vented through the inf usion resin and impregnated and compressed at the same time.
Advantages of the Vacuum-Infusion-Process: - high f ibre v olumen fraction and therefore achiev ing optimal component properties - minimizing of gas and air pockets because of the closed impregnation - manuf acturing of complex and three-dimensional components is possible - integration of inserts and foam cores is possible - high degree of automation is possible (e.g. rotor blades)

Peel Ply / Tear-Off Fabric The Peel Ply has been well-known in aircraft construction for many y ears. It is made of Ny lon and is added into epoxy or poly ester resin as the first and/or last lay er of the construction. After hardening, just before further processing it has to be peeled of slowly and in a sharp angle. The Peel Ply leaves an evenly rough, lubricant film f ree and adhesiv e surface behind. Sanding or cleaning of the surf ace is not necessary before sticking or coating. The Peel Ply cant remain in the construction theref ore is a red or blue tracer thread wov en into the f abric.

Not suitable for porous, mineral substrates (concrete, screed,
), PE, PP, PTFE, silicones or elastomers.
Some of these plastics may have release agents on their surfaces (such as ABS). Theses release agents must be removed completely - every trace has negative effects regarding adhesion! Because of the diversity of recycling synthetics (plastic mixtures) it is not possible to certify a universial adherence to every spezial blend.

High Strength Thermosetting Resin The thermosetting epoxy systems HP-E29L, HP-E56L and HP-E111L are unfilled low-viscosity combinations of resin and hardener with high-strength. They are based on our successful laminating resins HP-E28L, HP-E55L and HPE110L. The high-strength laminating epoxy resins are developed in close collaboration with our customers in concentration on industrial productions. They submit a high transfer rate due to accelerating curing at higher temperatures and good mechanical properties. With blending different hardener it is possible to adjust a flexible curing time (pot life) between 25 and 110 minutes. Of course it is possible to add filling agents like microballoons, cotton flocks, thixotropy powder or colour pigments from HP-Textiles.
A combination w ith suitable gelcoats, based on polyester, polyurethane and epoxy is achievable as well. Moreov er, the systems show very good physiological compatibilities in comparison to many other resins .

Epoxy Resin System with a statement of approval of the Germanische Lloyd The whole system has a statement of approval of the Germanischer Lloyd for the building of boats and wind-driven power stations. (Approval No. WP 1220047 HH) The basis of the series HP-E3000GL is an unfilled epoxy -resin, which is mixable with different hardeners f or ev ery individual purpose. A special f eature of this series is a high initial glass transition temperature (Tg) by hardening at room temperature. The use of the hardener HP-E200GL increases the maximum glass transition temperature (Tg MAX) up to 107C. The series also has a high transparency so that it is very suitable for visible carbon parts.
Features & Benefits : extremely low viscosity, so it has a very good fibre wet-out high static and dynamic strength pot life time can be freely adjusted between 15 min (hardener HP-E15GL) and 300 min (hardener HPE300GL) glass transition temperature (Tg max) up to 107 C (hardener HP-E200GL)

Characteristics and application: HP-BM17 has to be applied sparingly with a soft cotton cloth (rotary motions). After a short drying time (approx.15 minutes) the surf ace can be polished with a dry and clean cotton cloth to high gloss. The mould is supposed to have an ev enly gloss f ree f rom any streaks. Prior to the first mould release, new moulds are preprocessed with three or f iv e coatings of BM 17. Ev ery coating is supposed or be applied by using a different method, e.g.: from abov e to the bottom, from the left to the right, rotary. After the mould release agent had been allowed to ev aporate f or several hours (over night is the best), the material should be polished again intensively.

Extra shipping costs for bulky items and hazardous goods: Resin and hardener systems are treated as hazardous and some packaging units as bulky goods. These products are send especially per freight carrier only. For glass or carbon fabrics which are 100cm width or bigger than, the shipping cost is 9,70. Y ou will be informed in a separate email about the shipping cost, if this applies to your order. Island delivery: Deliv ery to island has normally a f ee of 14,50 per courier service. Hazardous goods will only be deliv ered by f reight carrier. Delivery per forward agency: Certain hazardous goods or very heavy rolls can only be dispatch by f reight carrier. Y ou can contact us per email or ev en calling and requesting the shipping cost to y our city or country. Otherwise, you will receiv e per email after the order a conf irmation with the shipping charges. The f reight by truck depends on the weight: and distance.
