INTRODUCTION Todays organizations are learning the hard way that, to cherry pick and stand out from the crowd they need to be first, fast and wide ranging in their search. To achieve this we need to upgrade our methods of recruitment which will allow us to recruit and retain the best talent economically. Digital recruitment is one of the methods that will allow business to cast a wide net, often for less money than the old analogue ways. To avoid the hassles of documentation and the cross verification process that adds to the complexity of the HR, we need to adapt to the newer methods of recruitment. TITLE OF THE STUDY A study on effective methods of recruitment in Convergys. STATEMENT OF PROBLEM SCOPE OF THE STUDY 1. This study is based only on effective methods of recruitment in Convergys.
OBJECTIVES 1. Support the organization ability to acquire, retain and develop the best talent and skills. 2. To reach a larger number of potential employees from a larger geographical area. 3. To avoid the submission of fake documents by the candidates during the final stage of selection. 4. To eliminate the costs on verification and to reduce the delay in hiring process. REVIEW OF LITERATURE 1. A study on effectiveness of recruitment process in HCL technologies- BPO Chennai A detailed analysis about the recruitment procedure followed at HCL and its effectiveness has been made. The industry has been growing rapidly but apart from this, recruiting and retaining the employees in BPO sector has become a difficult task. All the important aspects observed from the study and the valuable suggestions given by the staff regarding the recruitment procedure are being highly considered. This will be helpful for the management in understanding the awareness and satisfaction among the staff regarding the recruitment procedure followed in HCL.
