Title: Public Relations/Development Coordinator
Assist the Managing Director with fund development, fundraising, special events, marketing,
communications and public relations. Duties include but are not limited to: social media, graphic design, marketing,
communication with media, press releases, light tech work, organization calendars, maintaining mailing list, preparation
of staff and Board of Director meetings, etc.
Sheriffs Round-Up for PAL: Help coordinate the annual special event which attracted 300 guests and raised over
$97,000 for PAL. Duties included: pre-planning, budgeting, soliciting sponsors and auction donations, pre-press
and communication with the media, social media marketing, maintaining event website, graphic design work on
all promotional and event material, coordinating volunteers and event staff, post-press/marketing.
Sheriffs Charity Skeet Shoot: Help coordinate this fundraiser which attracted 12 teams and raised over $13,000
for PAL. Duties included: pre-planning, budgeting, pre-press, social media marketing, graphic design work on all
promotional and event material, post-press/marketing.
Young PALs: organized the launch of the PAL young professionals group; young professionals in the
Jacksonville community, ages 21-40, who are interested in becoming involved with PAL. Successfully secured 10
members who assist with special events, fundraisers, coaching teams, mentoring and tutoring the children
Graphic Design: organization and event brochures, sponsorship packets, banners and signage, flyers,
business cards, event material, etc.

DOW Advantage Public Relations Group / 2011-2012: The Flagler College non-profit public
relations group. Title: Account Executive Intern for Habitat for Humanity St. Augustine/St. Johns County
Gala for Humanity Fundraiser Co-Chairperson: Help coordinate the 18th annual Habitat for Humanity Christmas
fundraiser gala. This fundraiser attracts over 200 guests and hosts a live and silent auction. This event raised over
$20,000 for this organization. I increased student volunteers by 50%, updated social media, distributed
promotional materials, contacted individuals for donations and helped with the overall planning.
Birdies for Charity Chairperson: THE PLAYERS Birdies for Charity is a fund raising program designed to help
local charitable organizations raise more charity dollars. Chairperson of this fundraiser for the Habitat office from
January 2012 until May 2012. I planned and promoted the fundraiser, distributed solicitation letters, and updated
social media. I also designed and created a promotional business card to allow donors to easily donate and return
to the Habitat office. This program raised over $1,300 for Habitat for Humanity St. Johns County.
