I-SERVE was established in 2004 under the chairmanship of
Prof. K. V. Krishna Murthy, with Shri R. Venkataraman, former
President of India, as its Patron-in-chief. Its main objectives are:
Establishing synergy between the scientific wisdom of
ancient India and modern scientific inventions.
To decipher scientific theories, techniques and knowledge
from Vedic and post Vedic literature to facilitate developing
nature-friendly technologies in the fields of agriculture,
energy and medicine etc.
To carry out research into the authenticity and historicity of
ancient events, by making use of modern scientific tools,
which could provide common memories to different
communities in India for developing a sense of shared pride
in our rich cultural heritage.
I-SERVE DELHI CHAPTER has been working on a
research project titled Scientific Dating of Ancient
Events from Rigveda to Aryabhatiam. Smt. Saroj
Bala is its Chief Research Coordinator. First Seminar, covering Rigvedic
and Ramayan eras, with the title, "Scientific Dating of Ancient Events
before 2000 BC: " was organized in Delhi on 30-31 July, 2011, for
which inaugural address was delivered by H.E. Dr. A.P.J. Abdul
Kalam. Thereafter the book: 'Historicity of Vedic and Ramayan Eras:
Scientific Evidences from the Depths of Oceans to the Heights of
Skies' was published. I-SERVE Delhi Chapter has been continuing the
research and is now presenting the two days' International Seminar,
covering scientific dating of planetary references from Rigveda to
Mahabharata and determining cultural continuity since those times in a
scientific manner.
