some of the ate %&3's Ibanez designs were simiar to Hagstr4m and #56 guitar
designs. Hoshino Gakki used the $eisco and 7u8iGen Gakki guitar factories to
manufacture Ibanez guitars after they stopped manufacturing their own guitars in
%&33 and after the $eisco guitar factory cosed down in %&3&9%&2' Hoshino Gakki
used the 7u8iGen Gakki guitar factory to make most Ibanez guitars.
In the %&3's Japanese guitar makers started to mainy copy American
guitar designs and Ibanez branded copies
of Gibson, 7ender and :ickenbacker modes started to appear. $his resuted in the
so caed Ibanez awsuit period. After the awsuit period Hoshino Gakki
introduced Ibanez modes that were not copies of the Gibson or 7ender designs
such as the Iceman and Ibanez :oadstar. $he company has produced its own

period for the Ibanez brand. Hoshino Gakki;s reationship with 7rank <appa;s
