STRATEGIC SUPERIORITY SCENARIOS

Startegic superioty scenarios deal with deep strike missions, which struck at the enemies ability to wage war.
Victory points
In most scenarios, the winner is determined using the victory points system, which is described below:
1. Destroyed enemy planes are worth 100% o their point value, or !"% i the crew survives.
#. $lanes damaged by "0% or more are worth #"% o their points value.
%. Destroyed enemy strategic targets are worth the number o points as described in the scenario.
&. 'ther victory points may be determined by the scenario.
I the dierence in victory points is below 10% the game is a draw, i it is between 10% and "0% it is a minor victory and i
it is above "0% it is a solid victory. I dience is above 100%, and above !"% o the game points value, it is a glorious
victory.
Crew & bailing ot
I a plane is shot down and the crew bails out successully, roll a D( dice ater the battle.
I the battle took place over riendly territory, on a #) the crew *or at least its ma+ority, return to their s-uadron. 'n a roll
o a 1 the crew is missing, or badly in+ured in combat, and is counted as lost.
I the battle took place over a rontline, on the roll o a &) the crew returns to their s-uadron. 'n a roll o 1.% they are
captured or killed by the enemy and lost.
I the battle took place over enemy territory, the player must roll a ( or the crew to return to their s-uadron. 'n a roll o
1." they are captured or killed by the enemy and lost.
S!ort range planes
In these scenarios any attacking short range planes may not use any ordnance and are #0% more e/pensive, because we
assume that they carry e/tra uel *like uel tanks,.

0 recon group has been sent to take intelligence photos o an important strategic enemy target prior to sending bombers
or ground troops to it.

1he attacker2s s-uadron may be composed rom recon and igher planes up to an agreed points value *suggested: "0.1"0
points,. 1he attacker may ield one recon plane or every ull "0 points. 1he deender3s s-uadron may be composed rom
ighters and 00 guns only, up to !"% o the agreed points value. In addition, he must place one strategic target o any
kind.

$lanes may not carry any ordnance, e/cept additional uel tanks.
&eploy'ent
1he deender deploys his orces 1#4 rom the strategic target.
1he attacker moves his planes on rom his table edge in irst turn, but no urther than 54 rom a single point.

1he game lasts 1" turns or until one s-uadron disengages by moving o the table or is destroyed.
Victory con%itions
Do not calculate victory points. I a recon plane let the table by its own table edge with photographs o the target, the
attacker wins. I not, the deender is the winner.

deender3s s-uadron may be composed rom ighters only, up to the agreed points value, but he may also spend up to %0%
o his points on 00 guns. In addition, the deender has to put one random strategic target on the table. See 80ppendi/ 1:
strategic targets3 or suggestions.

1he attacker2s planes may use any ordnance. 1he deender2s planes may be armed only with rockets or gunpods.

1he deender deploys hal o his planes and all 00 guns within his deployment 9one. 1he rest o his planes are held in
reserve.
1he attacker moves his planes on rom his table edge in the irst, second and:or third turn, but all planes must enter no
urther than 54 rom a single point along the edge.
