I got into some trouble with about 15 or 20 Korean non-comissioned officers when I
told them "Vous etes la meme chose que les Koreans du nord" when I was whiskied up
and mad about the Pueblo incident one night at their post bar at the Korean
compound at the 'Nam. Their unit was the Republic of Korea, White Horse Batalion,
ROK Marines, and mine was the American 1st Signal Brigade, 459th Signal Battalion.
Those ROK Marines were real cool guys. That night when I laid those fighting
French words on them we first fought for 30 or 40 minutes Indian Wrestling style,
which was my chosen mode. I whipped them all, of course, one after the other in
the Indian Wrestling, not to brag, it was on account of my height and weight
advantage over all of them; but then went outside when the got to choose their
mode of fight which was Ti Quon Do, or however you spell that. It is an incredible
unarmed hand to hand fighting skill where they can easily kill an opponent, as you
may know. To make a long story short, I got fucked!
The ROK's had a sterling reputation as some of the most feared soldiers of the
day. I frequented their non-comissioned officers bar in Nha Trang, RVN, summer of
1968, drinking whisky with them and practicing my French. Because of the "Tet
Offensive" in which my GI's kicked the commie gooks' asses, by the way, before I
got there, I was levied out of Europe in my draftee's tour along with 100,000
other GI's stationed in my Germany.
Koreans are a cool race, in my opinion, and they ARE the same as the ones from the
north. Ha ha ha ha ha
The Koreans of their race in the north are significantly shorter, I've heard it
said, on average, because of malnutrition and starvation from communist government
corruption, lawlessness, (no individual rights at all under stupid communism) and
inefficiency in the north. Ha ha ha ha. What does that tell you about communism?
It deserved to have its head crushed; too bad it's not completely dead, but for
that matter, it's too bad we're not yet in the Konigreich, but I digress.
I wonder if North Korea has big rivers like the ones we are cherishing in your

The Korean non-coms and I hated communism, and we still do, of course, but that's
how I drunkenly knew that if I used those fighting, but true, French words on
them that I might get to see some action. We were all drinking whisky excessively
anyway, as usual, and after all, and here I was finally in the 'Nam but stuck like
a sitting, bored, comm center duck for the sappers. We did nightly guard duty in a
sandbag bunker on top of the comm center watching with our M14s for those sneaky
little but I never saw one alhamdullilah, and then got med evac'd to Yokoham Bay,
Japan, with a view of Fuji from my hospital bed. The Order of the Purple Heart is
not awarded for injuries incurred in bar fights; it's lucky I didn't get another
courts martial for that one.The guy next to me at Yokaham was a handler for his
German Shepherd tunnel-dog war dog and the dog stepped on a land mine; the GI spun
around but all his ass muscles got blown off so that the nurses at Yokama had to
screen him off from the view of the rest of us, the wound being so severe looking.
His dog was pulverised, of course. That made him sadder than the loss of his whole
butt. I liked the Vietnamese race very much, but not as much as I like the Korean
race, for some reason. Both races spoke French.

Cool man, cool on your excellent good deeds and intentions to have all our rivers
to be permitted to flow again as in the original manual on the planet earth.
That's what makes me madder than almost anything, doesn't it you, that selfish
interests would plug all our rivers, enriching themselves at the expense of our
beautiful rivers, but don't get me started.....

PS- I am ready to invade the 'Nam again any time and a Cambodian friend has sworn
he would go with me to do it. I will never go back there again unless and until
their shitty little commie government is crushed and set aside. Our position on
this is, of course, is because of the communist treachery involved when the commie
gooks signed the Paris Peace Treaty in 1973. did you wonder why Le "Duck" Tho
decline to attend the Nobel Awards along with Henry. Le Duck was one of the lying
commie dick gook treaty breakers. That's another thing that irritates me every
time I think of it.
