CONCEPT:
A special edition Vogue magazine analysing its history, international success and issues along with the differences
between real-life cultures and those portrayed through fashions and lifestyle choices.
AUDIENCE & TONE OF VOICE:
The primary audience would be those who are fans or collectors of the magazine, whilst the secondary target
audience would be those interested in the issues raised throughout the special edition. The tone of voice remains
infuential, informative and formal, whilst being enaging with the reader on an intellectual basis.
FORMAT:
The special edition follows the same format as regular editions - 297x210mm maintaining continuity of the brand
and its international existing editions.
VISUAL LANGUAGE & PACKAGING:
The Vogue logo which is used internationally has been used to maintain focus and prestige for both the brand and
the reader, as well as being distinctively recognisable. Photographs from Internation editions of Vogue have been
used throughout the publication in order to show more traditional wear and stereotypical models relative to the culture
and ethics of the country, as well as refecting other fashion related issues and topics at hands. The layout
structure and typefaces used are inspired by existing Vogue spreads and allows for solidity of the brand image to be
put across in a new, engaging manner. The publication comes packaged in a card and vinyl based slipcase to
protect and hold the special edition, whilst ensuring its luxury facade is maintained.
DISTRIBUTION:
The publication would be available through existing Vogue subscription holders internationally to ensure the issues
raised are shared and received by all those concerned and interested. The special edition magazine would also be
avaiilable from book stores, supermarkets, newsagents and via the Vogue website.

have been adapted to showncase the variety of issues, topics and imagery shown in different editions.

Double page spreads have been infuenced very heavily by existing Vogue layouts from a range of internation editions
bringing in aspects from different cultures and traditions.

Controversial issues have been mentioned tastefully to ensure cultural bliss internationally with the special edition. The
back cover is also shown below, featuring a barcode on the back opposed to the front to maintain visual quality.
