Please can you help your children learn their maths facts for the quiz they will receive in Maths Week next week. If you can sponsor your childs efforts, it would be hugely appreciated. We are currently resourcing our Maths learning and teaching with some fantastic equipment to help all our children with their future learning. All funds from your sponsorship will go towards the very best experiences and resources to help your children in the future. NURSERY CLOSED THURSDAY 22 ND MAY Just a quick reminder to our nursery parents that nursery will be closed for a full day on Thursday 22 nd May due to the Local and European Elections. The nursery will resume as normal for the Friday sessions. SCHOOL DINNERS SANDWICH SELECTION Our school kitchens will be offering a choice of sandwiches after our half term break for children that prefer a packed lunch style of meal. Debbie, our school cook, is offering a choice of ham, cheese, tuna and jam for children considering having school dinners instead of parents preparing a packed lunch. Children taking up this packed lunch style dinner will also receive a dessert of the day and have free access to the salad bar, fresh fruit and drinks. Please let the office know if you are interested in taking advantage of this after half term by completing the slip attached and return to the school office. The cost is 2.30 per day therefore 11.50 per week. This will help us prepare an appropriate amount of sandwiches to meet with your childs demand. SAINSBURYS ACTIVE KIDS I would like to remind parents that the Sainsburys Active Kids vouchers will not be given out in store after the 20 th
May. Therefore we are only collecting vouchers up until 23 rd May which is the last day before we break up for half term. This allows us to order brand new equipment over the holidays ready for when your children return to school. We currently have 19,000 vouchers which is fantastic! Dont forget to bring in any vouchers you have at home and hand them in at the office or post them into any of the secure boxes around school. LIMITED NURSERY AVAILABILITY We currently have some spaces left for our nursery in September. If you have a child who is already 3 or will turn 3 before September you can apply for either 5 morning sessions 8.30-11.30am or 5 afternoon sessions 12.15-3.15pm.
