"ensiti%ity is the le%el o# response to a taret. The 3ista -)6) has a wide ad/ustment rane which
is why it is %ery important to set the "ensiti%ity le%el correctly accordin to the detectin
conditions.
A hih "ensiti%ity settin enables the detection o# smaller and deeper tarets. (hen the "ensiti%ity
is set to hih1 the 3ista -)6) may be a##ected by minerals in certain soils and sinals #rom electric*
al appliances. 8ou may need to decrease the "ensiti%ity to silence #alse sinals or electrical inter*
#erence. This will result in a more stable operation o# the 3ista -)6).
Always choose the hihest stable "ensiti%ity settin to ensure best per#ormance. This is done by
turnin the "ensiti%ity ,nob to the riht until the 3ista -)6) becomes unstable9 then reduce the
"ensiti%ity by one or two settins until it is stable.
