We chose Ben Mckenzie
to represent the topic of
Gun Control in the music
video. We chose him
because we believe that he
portrays a police officer
very well. His muscular
and athletic physique
demonstrates that he is a
strong man who is ready to
spring into action and
ensure safety to all. He is
clean cut, keeps his police
mentality after work and is
known as a superhero.
In our music video, we
are going to have a shot of
Ben in his office cleaning
his guns before he sets out
for duty. He will be
wearing a white v-neck,
with his police pants and
shoes. The light will be

is a very strong and good
looking man. Channing is
exemplifying the idea that

He is very comfortable in

empowered than everyone
else.

Many people in our society
would view Channing
Tatums appearance to be
objectifying and degrading
but Tatum does not think
this.
In our music video, we are
going to have Channing
showing as much skin as
possible to attract
attention. He will be in a
muscle shirt that shows off
his nice arms and rock
hard abs. And as for his
bottoms, he will be in
basketball shorts and
athletic shoes. We are
going to have Channing
performing for a group of
girls at a house party. He
starts to take of his clothes
-in a stripper like manner-
slowly to emphasize his
body. The girls at the party
will then start to scream
and freak out at his body.
The light will solely be on
him as he performs with a
dim light on the girls
around him. It will get
darker and darker towards
the end of the scene.

defined as a Performative
Text?

We decided to use the
actress Ellen Page for the
Transgender Identity
Issues and Challenges
portion of Project Text
because Ellen feels as if
she should be a man,
meaning she is
transgender. Her causal
style also compliments her
comfortableness she has in
demonstrating the male

We decided to use Ru Paul
in our video to portray the
Male Gender and Identity
Issue portion of the Project
Text. Ru Paul was born a
man and feels as if he
should dress and act like a
woman. It is interesting
because when he is not in
full drag attire, he still acts
like a man. It is shocking
to people when they find
out that Ru is really a man
when he is dressed up.
And with that being said,
this is why we chose the
lyrics above to exemplify
this. He is not ashamed to
be a man, but he loves
dressing in his drag. Given
this, we see Ru Pauls
embracement as he
demonstrates his content
in taking on both a male
and feminine role despite
what others may think. In

the video, Ru will be in his
dressing room getting
ready for his show. He will
put on a sexy red dress
and apply full make-up to
fully transform into a
woman. In this scene we
will have pictures flashing
rapidly lasting three to five
seconds of Ru Pauls
dressing room. We will
show his vanity, closet,
and him getting dressed.
To conclude the scene, we
will show him all dolled up
and ready to strut down
the runway.

music video because we
felt as if he is very

off the impression of being
a poor and defenseless guy
who is an ordinary, non-
attractive slim, and a
scrawny physique, this
ultimately presents him as
weak. Therefore, leaving
him as an open target to
be bullied. This scene will
open up with him loading a
video of himself on the
internet, which is then
followed by negative,
unkind comments. This is
what cyber bullying is and
it takes a big toll on
people. These lyrics
correlate with this scenario

Franco be our character for
the topic of Internets
Impact on Personal
Expressions. We chose
James because of his
lavishing good looks and
his excessive amounts of
selfies. Because James
Franco recognizes that he
is a stunning young man,
he wants all of his
followers to share all of his
pictures so that everyone
can also recognize his good
looks. In the video, James
will be in his room, dressed
up ready to leave for the
night, but before he
leaves, he is going to take
a selfie and post it on his
various social media
accounts. In the beginning
of this scene, we will show
the selfies he has taken.
They will flash on the
screen quickly only lasting
about two seconds. This
will then be followed by a
fading transition to James
Franco taking a selfie of
himself. We correlated
James Franco and his selfie
obsession with these lyrics
because we felt that if
someone takes an absurd
amount of selfies like
James-, then they must
think that they are the
man!

We chose to have Patrick
Fischler to be our actor for
social medias impact on us
humans. We are going to
have him searching the
internet at work, minding
his own business, when
suddenly he conducts a
search on Google. When
he does this, he feels the
presence of others
inconspicuously watching
him conduct these
searches and there is
nowhere he can turn for
shelter to hide. Patrick
Fischler has a small,
scrawny figure, which
depicts the characteristic
of a paranoid person. His
big wide black eyes also
contribute to those
characteristics of a
paranoid man whos
always on the lookout for
someone watching.
In the scene, Patrick will
be wearing a blue collared
shirt and dress pants. His
hair will be combed over to
complete his professional
look. Since Patrick Fischler
comes to the realization
that the heavy usage of
social media and the
Internet have negative
implications such as
someone spying on their
interaction and searches
done online, these lyrics
complement his feelings of
paranoia. This whole
scenario will consist of
flashing transitions from
one action to the other all
slowly starting up with
dark gloomy shadows over
each frame giving off that
mysterious hidden appeal.

We chose to have Jonah
Hill and Henry Cavil be our
characters for the topic of
the Internets impact on
dating/romantic
interactions. We chose to
have two characters for
this scene because we
wanted to portray
someones insecurity when
it comes to online
relationships. Jonah Hill
-overweight and an
ordinary man- is very
insecure when it comes to
his looks. So when he is
signing up for an online
dating company, he uses
Henry Cavils profile
picture to make himself
look better than he thinks
he looks. He believes that
the only way a girl would
be interested in him is if he
took Henry Cavils picture
and used it as his. The
Internet opened the door
for him to steal the picture
of an attractive looking
man who he could pass off
as himself. Because Jonah
Hill is at home while
signing up for the dating
company, he will be
wearing a normal t-shirt
with some jeans. In this
scene, we decided to have
the opening of it start of
blurry and dark slowly
becoming a lighter shade
of darkness.
The camera will slowly be
creeping up from behind
him from a corner of his
bedroom. Then the screen
will display two different
images, one of him being
is true self and the other of
his dream looks.
