1. CARACTERSTICAS
El reloj de escritorio o pared tiene una pantalla con nmeros grandes
para una fcil lectura de la hora, adems de un calendario y medidor
dual de temperatura, confgurable en grados centgrados o Fahrenheit,
por lo que puede registrar la temperatura en dos puntos diferentes.
Ideal para medir la temperatura tanto en el exterior como en el interior
de una casa, de forma simultnea. Dado que el sensor para el exterior
se comunica por medio de radiofrecuencia, no requiere cables para
su instalacin.

2. CONFIGURACIN
1. Coloque las bateras en el transmisor al aire libre.
2. Inserte las bateras en el reloj.
Despus de aproximadamente 15 minutos, su reloj debe mostrar la
temperatura exterior e interior. Si no es as, quite ambos conjuntos
de bateras, espere 15 minutos y vuelva a instalarlos.
3. INSTALACIN DE BATERAS EN EL
TRANSMISOR DE TEMPERATURA
El transmisor utiliza 2 pilas tipo AAA de
1,5V. Para instalar y reemplazar las
bateras, por favor siga los siguientes
pasos:
1. Retire la tapa de la batera que se
encuentra en la parte inferior del transmisor.
2. Inserte las pilas, observando la
polaridad correcta (vase marca dentro
del compartimento de batera).
3. Coloque la tapa de la unidad.
4. INSTALACIN DE BATERAS EN EL
RELOJ
Inserte 2 pilas alcalinas AA de 1,5 V en el compartimento de
batera segn la polaridad marcada. Una vez instaladas las pilas,
el reloj comenzar a buscar una seal.
Reemplazo de la batera:
Siempre espere por lo menos 10 minutos despus de retirar las
bateras antes de colocar las nuevas. Esto evita problemas de
transmisin y que la temperatura se mida a partir de la ltima
lectura.
Para garantizar su seguridad, tenga cuidado de que las bateras
no salten de los contactos mientras est cambindolas.
No monte o fje el reloj hasta que aparezca la temperatura
exterior.
Deje el transmisor al lado del reloj durante 10 minutos.
Cuando el reloj detecta una seal de radio WWVB, el cono de la
torre WWVB en el centro de la pantalla empezar a parpadear.
Cuando se recibe el cdigo de tiempo, la torre WWVB permanecer
encendida y se mostrar la hora.
Si el cono de la torre parpadea, pero no se establece el tiempo o
la torre WWVB no aparece, tome en cuenta lo siguiente:
La distancia recomendada respecto a fuentes de interferencia
como monitores o televisores es de mnimo 2 metros.
En habitaciones de concreto (stanos, superestructuras), la
seal se debilita. En estos casos, trate de colocar la unidad cerca
de una ventana.
Intente la deteccin durante la noche, cuando las perturbaciones
atmosfricas son menos severas y la recepcin es posible en la
mayora de los casos.
Una sola recepcin diaria es sufciente para mantener la desviacin
por debajo de 1 segundo.
Tambin puede utilizar la tecla SET para ingresar al modo de
confguracin y seleccionar manualmente la hora, zona horaria y
fecha.
Cuando el reloj se conecte con xito a WWVB, actualizar la fecha
y hora programadas manualmente.
La recepcin de la hora WWVB ocurre de 12:00 a 6:00 am cada
da (los intentos de recepcin se realizan cada hora dentro de este
marco de tiempo). Cuando la seal se recibe, por ejemplo, a la
1:00 am, el reloj no intentar recibir la seal WWVB durante las
horas restantes (hasta las 6:00 am).
El siguiente intento de recepcin de seal se llevar a cabo
entre las 12:00 y 6:00 am del da siguiente. La recepcin WWVB
ocurre, en otras ocasiones, despus de la confguracin manual.
La recepcin no es posible durante el da debido a la interferencia
del sol.
5. RECEPCIN DE LA SEAL WWVB
Aproximadamente 15 minutos despus de que las bateras se han
insertado, la recepcin de cdigo de tiempo WWVB se iniciar
automticamente.
Esta recepcin por lo regular tarda 10 minutos en buenas condiciones.
Si el reloj no puede detectar la seal de radio WWVB, continuar
en busca de la seal cada hora entre las 12 y 6 de la maana.
6. AJUSTES MANUALES
Si el reloj ya ha recibido la seal WWVB y muestra la hora y
fecha correctas, los ajustes manuales pueden pasarse por alto.
Pulse la tecla SET para entrar en el modo de ajuste manual.
Aqu puede programar los siguientes valores:
Confguracin de zona horaria
DST (horario de verano)
Ajuste de tiempo manual (hora, minutos)
Ajuste del ao
Ajuste del mes
Ajuste de la fecha
Ajuste del da de la semana
Formato de hora de 12/24 h
Ajuste de temperatura F / C
7. ZONA HORARIA
Puede ajustar la zona horaria en el rango de + / 12 horas. Para
hacer esto:
1. La zona horaria empezar a parpadear (por defecto EST -5).
Seleccione la zona horaria pulsando la tecla +.
Confguracin de zona horaria: -12 -11, -10, ALA, PST, MST, CST,
EST, ATL, -3, -2, -1, 0, + 1, + 2... + 12. (Por defecto: EST)
2. Oprima la tecla SET para entrar en el ajuste de horario de
verano.
8. DST (horario de verano)
1. La palabra ON empezar a parpadear en la pantalla. Para
encender o apagar el DST, pulse la tecla +.
2. Oprima y suelte la tecla SET para ajustar manualmente la hora.
El valor predeterminado de la DST es ON, lo que signifca que
WWVB cambiar automticamente la hora segn el horario en la
primavera y otoo.
Para reas que no tienen cambios de horario ponga el DST en
OFF.
9. CMO AJUSTAR LA HORA
MANUALMENTE
En caso de que el reloj no sea capaz de detectar la seal WWVB
(obstculos, distancia de transferencia, etc.), tendr que ajustar el
tiempo manualmente. El reloj funcionar como un reloj de cuarzo
normal.
Se mostrar AM o PM junto al tiempo.
La unidad intentar recibir la seal cada da a pesar de ser
confgurado manualmente. Cuando recibe la seal, cambiar la
hora manual al tiempo recibido.
El cono de la torre parpadear WWVB durante los intentos de
recepcin.
Si la recepcin no tiene xito, no aparecer el cono WWVB pero
la recepcin se intentar a la hora siguiente.
Despus de seguir los pasos anteriores y ajustar la zona horaria
y DST:
1. Los dgitos de la hora empezarn a parpadear.
2. Fije la hora pulsando la tecla SET +.
3. Los dgitos de los minutos empezarn a parpadear.
4. Ajuste los minutos pulsando la tecla +. Si el + se mantiene, las
unidades se incrementarn de 5 en 5.
5. Presione la tecla SET para mover a la posicin de Ao.
10. AO
El ao se puede seleccionar desde el 2001 hasta el 2029.
Despus comenzar otra vez (por defecto 2009). El ao slo
aparecer en el modo de ajuste manual.
1. Los dgitos del ao comenzarn a parpadear en pantalla (slo
los ltimos dos dgitos). Seleccione el ao utilizando la tecla +.
2. Oprima la tecla SET para cambiar el mes.

11. MES
1. La cifra del mes en pantalla empezar a parpadear (1 por defecto).
Fije el mes utilizando la tecla +.
2. Oprima la tecla SET para pasar al modo de Ajuste de la fecha.
12. FECHA
1. Los dgitos de la fecha comenzarn a parpadear en la pantalla
(por defecto 1).
Establezca la fecha usando la tecla +.
Slo se puede establecer la fecha en relacin con el mes
seleccionado. Por ejemplo, no es posible establecer el da 30 si
se selecciona febrero.
2. Oprima la tecla SET para mover al Ajuste del da de la
semana.
14. FORMATO DE HORA 12/24 H
El formato de hora puede visualizarse en 12 h o 24 h (por defecto
12 h).
1. Los dgitos 12 o 24 empezarn a parpadear en la pantalla.
Por medio de la tecla + seleccione el formato de 12 o 24 h.
2. Oprima la tecla SET para entrar al modo unidades de
temperatura.
2. Oprima la tecla SET para entrar en el modo ajuste de 12/24 h
formato de hora.
13. DA DE LA SEMANA
1. Los smbolos de lunes a viernes se mostrar en pantalla.
Establezca el da de la semana utilizando la tecla +.
15. UNIDADES DE TEMPERATURA
La temperatura puede medirse en F o C (ajuste por defecto: F).
1. Utilice la tecla + para seleccionar F, para ver la temperatura en
grados Fahrenheit, o C para grados Celsius.
2. Oprima la tecla SET para salir del modo de confguracin y
volver a la visualizacin normal.
Si no se pulsa ninguna tecla durante al menos 15 segundos en
el modo de ajuste, el reloj cambiar automticamente al modo de
visualizacin normal.
16. SALIR DEL MODO DE AJUSTE
MANUAL
Para volver a la visualizacin normal en cualquier momento
desde el modo de ajuste manual, pulse la tecla SNZ.
17. ALARMA
Para entrar en el modo de ajuste de alarma:
1. Sostenga la tecla ALM durante 4 segundos.
18. PARA DESACTIVAR LA ALARMA
La alarma se activar automticamente cuando se establezca la
hora de alarma.
Para desactivar la alarma (OFF), pulse y suelte una vez la tecla
ALM en modo normal.
Cuando desaparezca el cono de alarma, sta se apagar.
2. Los dgitos de la hora comenzarn a parpadear.
3. Oprima la tecla + para ajustar la hora.
4. Pulse la tecla ALM para ajustar los minutos. Los dgitos de los
minutos comenzarn a parpadear.
5. Presione la tecla + para ajustar los minutos.
6. Oprima y suelte nuevamente la tecla ALM para salir del modo de
ajuste o espere 15 segundos.
19. AJUSTE DE REPETICIN DE
ALARMA
La funcin SNOOZE debe activarse mientras la alarma est
sonando. Pulse la tecla SNZ de la parte posterior para silenciar la
alarma durante 10 minutos.
20. TRANSMISOR DE TEMPERATURA
EXTERIOR
La temperatura es medida y transmitida al reloj cada 4 segundos.
El reloj actualizar la pantalla de temperatura cada 4 segundos.
La temperatura puede afectar el alcance del transmisor. En
temperaturas fras la distancia de transmisin puede disminuir.
Tenga esto en cuenta al colocar el transmisor. Tambin la vida de
las bateras puede reducirse durante los periodos de temperaturas
muy bajas.
21. VERIFICACIN DE RECEPCIN
DE 915 MHZ PARA EL TRANSMISOR
DE TEMPERATURA
El reloj recibir los datos de la temperatura cada 4 segundos. Si
los datos no se reciben 2 minutos despus de la confguracin (o la
pantalla muestra ---), compruebe los siguientes puntos:
1. La distancia del reloj o el transmisor de temperatura al aire libre
debe ser al menos de 2 metros respecto a fuentes de interferencia
como monitores o televisores.
2. Evite colocar el receptor en o cerca de marcos de ventanas
de metal.
3. El uso de otros productos elctricos como auriculares o
altavoces que operan en la misma frecuencia (915 MHz), puede
evitar la correcta transmisin y recepcin de seal.
4. Los vecinos que usan dispositivos elctricos que operan en la
frecuencia de 915 MHz tambin pueden causar interferencia.
Una vez que se reciba correctamente la seal de 915 MHz,
no abra la tapa de la batera del transmisor o del reloj: las
bateras podran salirse de los contactos y forzar un
reinicio. Si esto sucede, restablezca todos los ajustes (vea las
instrucciones de instalacin anteriores). De lo contrario, pueden
producirse problemas de transmisin.
La distancia de transmisin mxima es de 60 metros desde
el transmisor al reloj (en espacios abiertos). Sin embargo, esto
depende de los niveles de interferencia circundantes. Si no hay
recepcin es posible que a pesar de la observacin de estos
factores, todas las unidades del sistema deban restablecerse.
En caso de que el reloj no sea capaz de detectar la
seal WWVB (interferencia, distancia, etc.), el tiempo puede ser
ajustado manualmente.
22. MONTAJE DEL TRANSMISOR
EXTERIOR DE TEMPERATURA
El transmisor de la temperatura exterior puede montarse con el
uso de tornillos.
Se obtendrn mejores resultados si se coloca en posicin vertical.
23. MONTAJE CON TORNILLOS
1) Retire el soporte de montaje del transmisor exterior de
temperatura.
2) Coloque el soporte sobre el lugar deseado. Marque la superfcie
de montaje con un lpiz.
3) Donde se marc, haga los orifcios con un taladro.
4) Atornille el soporte sobre la superfcie de montaje. Asegrese de
que los tornillos queden al ras del soporte.

recepcin del producto en cualquiera de los sitios donde pueda hacerse efectiva la garanta.
4.- El lugar donde puede adquirir partes, componentes, consumibles y accesorios, as como
hacer vlida esta garanta es en cualquiera de las direcciones mencionadas posteriormente.

1. HIGHLIGHTS
This clock can be installed on desktops or wall; it has large
numbers for an easy reading. It features calendar and dual
thermometer to measure temperatures in two different places
(outdoor or indoor).
The outdoor sensor sends the signal to the clock via RF, so cables
are not required for installation.

2. SET UP
1. Place batteries in the outdoor transmitter.
2. Insert batteries into the clock.
After approximately 15 minutes both the indoor and outdoor areas
on your clock should have a temperature showing. If not, remove
both sets of batteries, wait 15 minutes and reinstall them.
3. BATTERIES INSTALLATION IN
TEMPERATURE TRANSMITTER
The transmitter uses 2 x AAA 1.5 V
batteries. To install and replace the
batteries, please follow the steps below:
1. Remove the battery cover by pushing
down towards bottom of transmitter and
sliding cover out.
2. Insert the batteries, observing the
correct polarity (see marking inside
battery compartment).
3. Replace the battery cover on the unit.
4. TO INSTALL OR REPLACE
BATTERIES IN THE CLOCK
Insert 2 fresh AA, LR6 1.5 volt ALKALINE batteries in the battery
compartment according to the polarity marked on the case. Once
the batteries are installed, the clock will begin searching for a signal.
Battery Replacement
Always wait at least 10 minutes after removing batteries before
reinserting them, to avoid start up and transmission problems.
To ensure your safety, be careful that the batteries do not spring
free from the contacts while changing them.
Do not set the clock until the outdoor temperature is displayed.
Leave the transmitter next to the clock for 10 minutes.
5. WWVB SIGNAL RECEPTION
Roughly 15 minutes after the batteries have been inserted, the
WWVB time code reception can automatically start.
This reception typically takes 10 minutes in good conditions.
If the clock cannot detect the WWVB radio signal, it will continue to
search for the signal each hour between 12 am and 6 am.
When the clock detects a WWVB radio signal, the WWVB
tower icon in the top center of the LCD clock display
will start fashing. When the time code is received, the
WWVB tower becomes permanently lit and the time will be
displayed.
If the tower icon fashes, but does not set the time or the WWVB
tower does not appear at all, then please take note of the following:
Recommended distance to any interfering sources like computer
monitors or TV sets is a minimum of 6 feet (2 meters).
Within concrete rooms (basements, superstructures), the signal
is naturally weakened. In extreme cases, place the unit close to
a window.
During the night the atmospheric disturbances are usually less
severe and reception is possible in most cases.
A single daily reception is adequate to keep the accuracy deviation
below 1 second.
You can also use the SET key to enter the setup mode to
manually set the Time, Time Zone and Date.
When the clock has successfully connected with WWVB, it will
override the manually set time and date and update your clock to
the current WWVB time.
WWVB time reception takes place from 12:00 am through 6:00
am each day (attempts WWVB reception every full hour within
this time frame). When the time signal is received for example at
1:00 am, the radio-controlled clock will not attempt to receive the
WWVB signal for the remaining hours until 6:00 am.
Therefore, the next signal attempt will take place between 12:00
am and 6:00 am the next day. The other times WWVB reception
takes place, are upon setup and after manual time set exiting
mode. Reception is generally not possible during daylight hours
due to the interference of the sun.
6. MANUAL SETTINGS
If the clock has already received the WWVB time signal and
displays the correct time and date, then the manual settings can
be skipped.
Press the SET key to enter the manual setting mode.
The following settings can now be programmed:
Time zone setting
DST ON/OFF
Manual time setting (hour, minutes)
Year setting
Month setting
Date setting
Weekday setting
12/24h time format display
F/C temperature setting
7. TIME ZONE
The time zone can be set between the +/12-hour range in screen.
1. The time zone (screen) will start fashing (Default setting EST
-5). Select the desired time zone by pressing and releasing the
+ key.
Time zone settings: -12, -11, -10, ALA, PST, MST, CST, EST, ATL,
-3, -2, -1, 0, +1, +2...+12. (Default: EST)
2. Press and release the SET key to enter the DST Setting.
8. DST (daylight saving time)
1. The ON digit will start fashing on screen. Set the DST ON or
OFF by pressing the + key.
2. Press and release the SET key to manually set the time.
The DST default is ON, meaning that the WWVB will
automatically change the time according to daylight saving time
in the spring and fall.
For areas that do not recognize DST changes turn the DST OFF.
9. HOW TO SET THE TIME MANUALLY
In case the radio-controlled clock is not able to detect the
WWVB-signal (disturbances, transmitting distance, etc.); the time
can be manually set. The clock will then work as a normal Quartz
clock.
The time will be displayed with an additional AM or PM for
the time.
The unit will still try to receive the signal every day despite it
being manually set. When it does receive the signal, it will change
the manually set time into the received time.
During reception attempts the WWVB tower icon will fash.
If reception has been unsuccessful, then the WWVB tower icon will
not appear but reception will still be attempted the following hour.
After following the steps above and setting the Time zone and DST:
1. The hour digits will start fashing.
2. Set the desired hours by pressing the SET key.
3. The minute digits will start fashing.
4. Set the desired minutes by pressing and releasing the + key. If
the + key is held, the units will increase by 5.
5. Press and release the SET key to move to the Year setting.
10. YEAR
The year can be selected sequentially from 2001 to 2029 and
will then start over again (default setting 2009). The year will only
appear in the manual setting mode.
1. The year digits will start fashing (only last 2 digits) on screen.
Select the desired year by use of the + key.
2. Press the SET key to switch to the Month Setting.

11. MONTH
1. The month digit on screen will start fashing (Default setting 1). Set
the desired month by use of the + key.
2. Press the SET key to move to the mode Date Setting.
12. DATE
1. The digits for the date will start fashing on screen (Default
setting 1).
Set the desired date by use of the + key.
The date can only be set in conjunction with the selected mon-
th. For example, it is not possible to set the date 30 if the month of
February is selected.
2. Press and release the SET key to move to Weekday setting.
14. 12/24H TIME FORMAT
The time format can be displayed in 12h or 24h (Default setting
12h).
1. The digits 12 or 24 will start fashing on screen. By use of the
+ key select 12h or 24h time format display.
2. Press the SET key to enter the mode C or F Temperature
Setting.
2. Press and release the SET key to enter the mode 12/24h Time
Format Setting.
13. WEEKDAY
1. The weekday symbols will be displayed on screen. Set the desi-
red weekday by use of the + key.
15. C OR F TEMPERATURE
The temperature setting can be set to either to F or C (Default
setting F).
1. Use the + key to select F for temperature display in Fahrenheit
degrees or C for Celsius degrees.
2. Press and release the SET key to exit the setting mode and
switch back to the normal display mode.
If no keys are pressed for at least 15 seconds in setting mode,
the radio controlled clock will automatically switch back to normal
display mode.
16. EXIT THE MANUAL SET MODE
To return to the normal display mode from anywhere in manual
setting mode simply press the SNZ key anytime.
17. ALARM
To enter into the alarm setting mode:
1. Hold the ALM key for 4 seconds.
18. TO DEACTIVATE THE ALARM
The alarm will be automatically ON when the alarm time is set.
To deactivate the alarm (OFF), press and release once the ALM
key in normal mode display.
The alarm icon will disappear, the alarm is now off.
2. The hour digits start fashing.
3. Press and release the + key to set the hour.
4. Press and release the ALM key to set the minutes. The minute
digits start fashing.
5. Press and release the + key to set the minutes.
6. Press and release again the ALM key to exit the Alarm setting
mode or wait for 15 seconds automatic timeout.
19. SNOOZE SETTING
Snooze can be activated while the alarm is active by pressing the
SNZ key on the back of the clock and will silence the alarm for
10 minutes.
20. OUTDOOR TEMPERATURE
TRANSMITTER
The temperature is measured and transmitted to the radio-controlled
clock every 4 seconds. The clock will update the temperature display
every 4 seconds.
The temperature may affect the range of the outdoor temperature
transmitter. At cold temperatures the transmitting distance may be
decreased. Please bear this in mind when positioning the transmitter.
Also the batteries may be reduced in power during periods of
extreme cold temperatures.
21. 915 MHZ RECEPTION CHECK
FOR OUTDOOR TEMP TRANSMITTER
The radio-controlled clock will receive the temperature data every
4 seconds. If the temperature data is not being received 2 minutes
after setting up (or the display shows - - -), then please check the
following points:
1. The distance of the radio-controlled clock or outdoor
temperature transmitter should be at least 6 feet (2 meters) away
from any interfering sources such as computer monitors or TV sets.
2. Avoid placing the receiver onto or in the immediate proximity of
metal window frames.
3. Using other electrical products such as headphones or speakers
operating on the same signal frequency (915MHz) may prevent
correct signal transmission and reception.
4. Neighbors using electrical devices operating on the 915MHz
signal frequency can also cause interference.
When the 915 MHz signal is received correctly, do not re-open
the battery cover of either the outdoor temperature transmitter or
radio-controlled clock, as the batteries may spring free from the
contacts and force a false reset. Should this happen accidentally
then reset all units, otherwise transmission problems may occur.
The maximum transmission range is 200 feet (60.96 meters)
from the outdoor temperature transmitter to the radio-controlled
clock (in open space). However, this depends on the surrounding
environment and interference levels. If no reception is possible
despite the observation of these factors, all system units have to
be reset.
In case the clock is not able to detect the WWVB-signal
(disturbances, transmitting distance, etc.), the time can be manually
set.
22. MOUNTING THE OUTDOOR
TEMPERATURE TRANSMITTER
The outdoor temperature transmitter can be mounted with the use
of screws:
It is best to mount in a vertical position.
23. MOUNTING WITH SCREWS
1) Remove the mounting bracket from the outdoor temperature
transmitter.
2) Place the mounting bracket over the desired location. Through
the two screw holes of the bracket, mark the mounting surface with
a pencil.
3) Where marked, start the screw holes into mounting surface.
4) Screw mounting bracket onto the mounting surface. Ensure that
the screws are fush with the bracket.

WARRANTY
This Steren product is warranted under normal usage against defects in workmanship and
materials to the original purchaser for one year from the date of purchase.
CONDITIONS
1.- This warranty card with all the required information, invoice or purchase ticket, product box or
package, and product, must be presented when warranty service is required.
2.- If the product stills on the warranty time, the company will repair it free of charge.
3.- The repairing time will not exceed 30 natural days, from the day the claim was received.

THIS WARRANTY IS VOID IN THE NEXT CASES:
If the product has been damaged by an accident, acts of God, mishandling, leaky batteries,
failure to follow enclosed instructions, improper repair by unauthorized personnel, improper safe
keeping, among others.

b) If you lose the warranty card, we can reissue it, if you show the invoice or purchase ticket.
