3.4 Football philosophy

3.4.1. Our principles by attack are, score more goals then the opponent:
Control the ball;
We want to build up and start at the goalkeeper;
Variation in create opportunities to score;
Score a lot of goals;
1v1 create a better situation, not only the attackers but in every position Technique skills must be
top;
Attacking by the left or right back nr. 2 and nr. 5;
Every player should expect the ball on every moment;
When we are attacking always be aware for a good balance rest defense: controlled by
goalkeeper/defenders nr.3, nr. 4/midfielders nr.6, nr.8;

3.4.2. Our principles by transition from Attack to defend are, avoid the counter attack from the opponent:
The player who is close to the ball, give pressing on the opponent with ball;
Reorganize your organization as soon as possible;
Think as individual/team not only backwards;

3.4.3. Our principles by defense are, avoid goals:
Defense start by the attackers;
Compact in length and wideness, 25 till 30m between the attacker(s) and defenders. Between every
line 8-10m;
Playing zone control the zone;
We want to have the ball as soon as possible pressing on the right moment and collective;
Make the opponent building up to the flank;
Coach each other very important by defense in zone;
Read the game;
Winner mentality. Show with our behavior that we want to win the game, as individual player and as
team.

3.4.4. Our principles by transition from defend to attack are, create an opportunity to score a goal:
Look always deep and when possible play deep;
Create space in length and wideness for controlling the ball and create a new opportunity to score;
Not only wide passes, but try to play forward.

u.17 Optimize/ Solve problems / games 11:11

During this period we are going to confront our players with different playing styles from the opponent, like
1:4:3:3 (with attacking or defending midfielder) and 1:4:4:2 (with a midfield in a line or in a diamond).

Players have to find new solutions how to build up. Where are problems coming up or where is the free space
to start building up, etc.

Maybe sometimes we have to simplify our training session.
