Miscellaneous Items
• Facilities is working with the A/E contractor on the Energy Stimulus Design
Package. Nine branches that will receive funding for improvements in
lighting, windows, doors and HAVC systems have been visited. We met on
Monday, November 9, 2009 to review the progress of the package.
• Facilities experienced several problems during the beginning of the heat
season because of the slow response of boiler inspections. To eliminate the
same thing happening next season we will break down all boilers at the end
of winter operations and require an inspection during the summer months.
