Knowledge of the TELECOM PRODUCTS:-
Since I am doing my internship training in the telecom sector,
hence this is my first and foremost objective to get the knowledge
of all the telecom products. I am doing my internship training in
idea cellular ltd which is a national distributor of all the telecom
products. It basically deals with the following products:
Pre paid gsm service
Post paid gsm service
Net Setter
Pre to post paid gsm service
Therefore, I have a great opportunity here in idea cellular ltd to
learn about all the telecom products that

I have not any work experience earlier. I have recently completed
my graduation and took admission in this MBA program.
Therefore I have no exposure to the corporate world. During this
internship training, this is my first exposure to the corporate world.
By this exposure and experience of the corporate world I come to
know how to deal with the corporate people and what the corporate
etiquettes are.
Customer relationship:-
This is also one of my primary objectives of this internship training
to deal with the customer and establish a good relationship with all
the customers. I am also focusing to establish good relationship
with the customer rather than selling the products. Establishing
good relationship with the customer will also help me in the near
future during and after my placement.

This can be one of the objectives of this internship training which
puts a type of pressure on me to achieve such target. This pressure
is nothing but just a sign of competition in the market and how

STRATEGY ADOPTED

My foremost strategy was to gain knowledge about
the company and its products but having this much
knowledge was not essential. I also investigated
about its competitors and in which other products
they are dealing in and what makes idea and its
competitors different from it.
The next step was to collect strong database of the
customers and for this I first searched my personal
contacts and made a call to them and convinced
them to meet for the generation and development of
leads.
I also adopted teamwork strategy. I discussed the
work and tasks assigned with my fellow interns and
how they are proceeding with it. It really helped me a
lot in completing my tasks and targets and also
helped me in building healthy relationship with my
fellow interns.
I will continue with the same pace and will try my
best to find out more strategic way to successfully
complete my remaining executive training and will
try to acquire more and more of market knowledge
and work experience.
I went to the organization, company, shop and door
to door to find my prospects. I select these places for
my prospect customers because these places give
me no. of prospects at the same time and at the
same place. It saves my time and money also.

I also went to the individuals, shopkeepers,
businessmen etc. These persons can be the existing
investors and can be the new customers.
These strategies help me to generate the leads and
give me the confidence to meet new people. I am
using these strategies basically not to generate more
business but actually trying to meet new people and
establish a good relationship.
Limitations

customer, he just refuses to talk with us and simply told that at the
time of recession how we can believe upon these products that they
give us the desired benefits.
Next limitation is our inexperience. Due to the lack of experience I
am facing the problem like convincing the customer about the
current market scenario. This inexperience also come in between
when I faced any well educated and existing customer who put
question on question and I just not able to reply him as his
satisfaction level. This inexperience can also be seen in my
strategy where I am able to adopt any strategy which helps me a
lot.
People’s reaction is also one of the major limitations. Since we are
the trainee for the three month so when we told that we are the
trainee to customer, he just told come after one month then again
one month. This is due to the lack of faith people do not believe on
us. They just think what they will do after three months when our
training came over.
Last limitation is no monetary benefits. We are working in such
odd condition but we have no motivation because we are not
getting any monetary benefits. We are just spending our money in
mobile phone cold calls, in motorbike’s petrol and in the expense
of it we are getting nothing. This makes us to think that if we are
getting nothing then for what we are working. And we are just
decreasing our efforts for achieving the targets.

Conclusion
This internship training is very much required and needed for us.
Since we are the fresher, we have no work experience earlier; this
training will help us a lot. In fact this is helping us a lot till the
date.
During this training period I am getting the knowledge of the
telecom products which help me to grow in the finance sector.
It helps me to meet with the new people. It increases my
confidence to talk with the unknown people. It help me to learn
how to behave in the corporate, how to talk with the corporate
persons.

During this training I also learn how to achieve the target in the
pressurize situations. This helps me to learn how to make stratfor
marketing the products.
At the end however the training is going on apart from certain
limitation, it is going to be a fruitful period for us and will help in
the near future. It certified us that we have some experience and
market exposure which helps us during our final placements.
